The night Alexandra went walking in the rain, she hadn't anticipated meeting him.
Now the stranger is all that she can think about and despite her best friend's warnings, she will do just about anything to lure him back into her bed and feel his touch.
Her encounter ignites a passion that she's never felt before and she knows that without the stranger, her life will never be complete.
Will she be able to overcome her fears in order to embrace what she desires most?
Total fantasy because in real life this heroine should have been terrified of the hero. I still wonder what his profession was. Cat burglar seems likely the way he got into her house. A lot was left hanging, but one assumes the heroine got the answers over time, even if the reader never did. 2.5-2.75 stars.
Definitely a different twist to the story than I expected. As some of the other reviews mentioned I thought Alexandra would become involved with Adam. My heart went out to Adam, it seems he truly cared for her and didn’t want to give up on developing a relationship with her. I wish there was a little more description about Reese for example what is his profession, how did he continually get into her house, and how did he not know his ex-wife’s habits. Unbroken Pleasures was an Interesting story with a twist.
This so could happen! That's what I came away with after reading this book. Meeting someone in the middle of the night in the rain, being a voyeur into some strangers window. An Encounter with a stranger in the rain? watching a couple you don't know making love? Definitely could happen. Falling in love with the stranger, not knowing his name? wanting him beyond reason? I still think it could happen.....I loved so much about this book, but still wanted answers.
The thing about this book was sheer unbelievability. It was a hot story and an intriguing voyeuristic edge, but the HEA was forced and I couldn't help but want Alex to end up with Adam. Reese was a jackass who used her. Ugh. 'Some' steam was the redeeming quality.
This was a quick read and the story line really pushed along. The ending took me a little by surprise. Not my typical genre but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
