Good information but in the way of a review or a quick reference to brush up on something you understand already. I wouldn't recommend this as a first read for someone new to the subject.

I think I'll refer to it because it did have examples of each topic/chart/etc. discussed...the appendices were good information also.

I think it took me a while to just commit to finishing it because I hadn't finished my Software Requirements book which was more detailed about how these things work in practice and the field in general...

This little book was my go-to recource back in the day when I did analyst work, or project planning work. An amazing amount of information in one small package. However, in the light of today's agile and lean documentation, this book is about 90% waste. :) A really nice book, one of my favourites.

I've had this book on my shelf for years now. Time after time, it's proven itself to be a useful and practical reference guide when dealing with just about any topic related to software requirements. What's more, unlike so many books in this space, it's immensely affordable. This makes it a great starter book for someone looking to get started in the business analysis profession or apply more formal software requirements practices on a project. You can't go wrong with the Software Requirements Memory Jogger!

I received this book as part of training we had Ellen deliver at my workplace. This is a very handy little book full of lots of information and techniques that anyone in IT can use to help elicit and manage project requirements. My only wishes are that the binding were better and that there were tabs to help me locate things.
