A primal therapist takes the reader inside eight therapy sessions, explaining how the treatment develops trust, teaches patients to identify and understand feelings, overcome painful memories of the past, and foster recognition and healing
I read this book in four sittings and I wept every time she wrote about the details of her childhood abuse because it was very similar to mine. I liked the way the book was written in how she wrote from both the patient and therapist perspective.
I appreciate this book so much because I believe it encouraged me to face my own wolf in my own therapy session even though they are not an intensive 'Deep Feeling' approach.
