Great story. I love the imagination, folklore, spirituality connected in the modern world and our desire to reconnect with divine nature.
I enjoy Hazel's character and look forward to my daughter being as bold, energetic, creative and joyous.

Look forward to the next books

Really more like 3.5 stars for me. I felt that it took me awhile to actually get into the story and feel an attachment to the characters. Although, I loved the subject matter and the way the author presented the mythos of the snake. About half way through the story really took off for me and I found myself not able to put it down. I am really looking forward to the next one!

I think that this is book is a fictional, exciting translation of the actual world. If real teenagers actually read this book, it could change the way they think about life. It did that for me! It describes the strong grip of the social media and the power of the open-minded souls who oppose it. I trust that the sequel will do just as much, and I can't wait to read it!
