It's torture knowing you can never have the one you love. I've accepted it, but it's still hard watching others getting their happily ever after. That was until she came along. One lost little lamb gave me new hope. Zara is too innocent for me. She's too young. She's too pretty. She brings out parts of me I never knew existed. The need to care and protect her is almost overwhelming. And then she calls me something that I've never been called, and I'm a goner. I'm a depraved man for wanting her and I don't even care. I'm claiming her as mine. I'll do anything to keep her, even against those who are claiming to have had her first. Nobody is taking away my hope of a happily ever after.

*cw: cancer, attempted SA and r@pe* In the second in the series, Diego meets his forever sub. This time around it's a fugitive mafia princess bride-to-be with amnesia. However outlandish that seems, it somehow works. I liked Zara a lot more than I did Emma in the first book, but I also liked Emma more in this one, which surprised me. I will say this once again. My experience with the lifestyle and this genre of books is very limited, but I enjoyed seeing their relationship unfold and develop, even though it wasn't how Diego expected. That in itself was quite an interesting subplot. The drama was outlandish as most mafia-esque storylines tend to be (again, not a genre I particularly read), and I found the solution somewhat simplistic. Aiden was once again a bit problematic, but I really loved the dynamic between him, Diego, and the other Doms as friends. I'm not sure how I feel about the potential of Garrett and Chloe though...
I might have rated this 4 stars if it wasn't for the absolute catalogue of grammatical, spelling, and plot errors. As I said about the previous book, even the most basic spell check would have found quite a few of these. I feel like the author might benefit from a few experienced beta readers if she cannot afford a professional editor because there is potential in her writing, and these errors are SO numerous that they repeatedly pull the reader out of the story. Additionally, she really needs to embrace the fact that she's set her series in LA with all characters being from the US with the exception of Diego. There are still a lot of British colloquialisms and non-RP English regional vernacular that anyone outside of the UK simply wouldn't be familiar with, and most certainly wouldn't use (I say this as a linguist in the UK).
“We might be their Doms, but they have us kneeling and worshipping them.”
So this book just solidified how much I liked Diego. In Explicitly Owned I was curious how the dynamic of Aiden, Emma and him would continue, which it really didn't. But it did tug on my heart strings how he loved Emma but knew he'd never have her, and how he struggled to be with others because of her. I almost wanted them to figure out a way to work the 3 of them. But Zara was everything he needed, and I'm glad he got his happily ever after. I loved how he was okay with her calling him by his name, but Daddy in the bedroom. I'm typically not a fan especially because there is a age gap, she's 19 and he's 36. But Diego was a master at dirty talk, so I was here for it. How can you deny it when he says "come for Daddy." You can't. I'm here for it.
20 minutes until the end the mafia drama does start to play out, it seemed a little rushed. I'd have loved to see some more drama, stalking or threatening letters, but maybe I'm just a psycho (lol.) But leave it to Diego to get his girl back. We also find out that Zara is pregnant, his breeding kink worked (I mean the quote below🔥 🤤 .)
“Shush, baby. This is fucking beautiful. I love seeing you filled with my seed.” I scooped it up with my finger and pushed it back inside.
This book also has the UK vs. US English issues, for a book that's supposed to take place in California but it didn't bother me as much in this book. I mean either way it's not not a make or break, just a pet peeve.

This story starts with the MMC that has an threesome with his bestfriend and his girlfriend (couple from book 1). The MMC has on page sex with OW, not only sex but he even loves her (and they know it, even the whole friend group knows this).
After meeting the FMC there is an moment in the office. The FMC is a couple of minutes away and the MMC punish the other woman (Emma, who also works at the office...). He is an dominant she is an sub. When he punish her Zara (the FMC) comes back & you can read that the MMC was so in the zone with Emma he forgot about Zara...
The MMC mention multiple times his feelings about Emma even at 60% he talks about this with his bestfriend (the man that is dating Emma), he loves Emma but Zara more...
At the end of the story you can read that the MMC loves Zara more and Emma as a friend not love...it's *POOF* gone...no thanks i really didn't enjoy the dynamic between Diego (the MMC) and Emma. The whole book he even use an nickname for her.
Explicitly Found by Jess Peters is book two in the Explicit Doms Series. After reading the first book I knew I had to absolutely continue the series. I once again found myself so interested in this world that Jess Peters created. It has some of my favorite things… a happily ever after, mafia and BDSM. Once I started reading this book I didn’t stop until I finished! I would recommend checking your warnings to be on the safe side. Each character has a traumatic past so reading them find love and growing their relationship was great to read. Zara and Diego are a great couple together. The ending just fit so well. There are characters I love and some…not so much. I really enjoyed reading from Diego’s perspective. The spicy scenes are SPICY!!! So good! Overall I had an amazing time reading this book. I can’t wait for book three!!!
I enjoyed this book, easy to read and keep my entertainment, I believe I finished it in 1-2 days. The story focuses on an innocent young 19 year old who comes across the a 36 year old male who is in the BDSM scene.
The story follows their journey together, overcoming hardships, finding herself again, and falling in love together.
I didn’t read the first novel of this series before this book and found only a couple times in the beginning being out of the loop from time to time but definitely can read without reading the first one.
I’m excited to read about Chloe I thought the author did a great job introducing and teasing the next book and the characters.

The characters were relatable however the number of gaffes where the wrong word was used were dissonant (eg reprise when the correct word would be reprieve) A book set in the US referencing British stores (no Selfridges in US - should have been Bloomingdales or Barneys) Americans call their mothers Mom not Mum. The Mafia families are Italian so the name of Zara’s father should be Carlo as Carlos is Spanish! No Italian however sheltered at 19 would be unfamiliar with coffee. All these things just spoiled it for me. The sex scenes were a bit rushed and thus lacked eroticism. Sorry this doesn’t encourage me to seek out more of Ms Peter’s’ writing.
As much as I loved Zara and Diego, I did not enjoy this book. I tried to ignore the whole Daddy dom thing, but it is 100% not my kink, and it made me dislike this book! I was really hoping for another relationship like Emma and Aiden. Maybe not exactly the same, but not Daddy Kink. Ignoring that aspect of the story, I adored the spicy scenes and love Diego and Zara together! They are so sweet. It's so weird how they came together, but it works. I'm not rating this book below 3 stars because it doesn't deserve it just because the kink is not mine. It did have other issues in regards to grammer and sentence structure, but I still loved the characters ❤️
Unfortunately it needs a good edit. I noticed many mistakes and they were easily spotted.
As with the first book the premise was good. It just needs a good rewrite. The flow of words and sentence structure was sloppy. Unfortunately there were a few plot holes that could’ve been easily rectified. It just felt a bit contrived. The errors can easily be reworked to fit in with the story.
However, I really did like the characters. I’m looking forward to reading Chloe’s story. The author just really needs to invest in a good editor.
Well, this book was soooo much better than book 1 in the series! I loved Diego and Zara’s story. I love the BDSM aspects of these books, they really feel like ‘real life’ to me. Those fire scenes?! I needs to find me a dom 🥵
The writing seemed tighter in this book, there was a lot less repetition. My only ‘ick’ was the constant ‘I love you’ I get some people say this often but for me, after you have said it multiple times in the space of only a couple of pages, it starts to loose its meaning.
This is book two in the series and can be read as a standalone. Not only was there steam but a great plot and love story. I enjoyed the characters and was so happy they got their HEA. The world of Club Explicit is fun to read about.
This story revolves around Zara and Diego. They both get what they need from each other to feel truly complete. Only Zara could bring out the softness in Diego and only Diego could be the "Daddy Dom" Zara needs to be cared for. Though they have an age gap they are perfectly matched. Overcoming societal norms in the name of love.
I have read Jess Peters before and enjoy her take on the BDSM world. This story sucked me in. I so wanted Diego to get his perfect person and he found that with Zara. Their journey was spicy, traumatic at times when Zara got her memories back and scary when she was taken but Diego was going to let nothing stop him from getting her back. I look forward to reading more stories in this world.

Such a good read!! I always love a book that shows the couple growing together in ways they didn’t know they could. Zara and Diego’s story was absolutely amazing! I loved how we saw Zara adjust to her new lifestyle while changing Diego in a way he didn’t see coming! Definitely going to go back and read Aiden and Emma’s story and can’t wait for Garrett and Chloe’s!
I loved this book! Zara and Diego meet and their lives are changed forever. Jess Peters was a new author to me, but I will certainly be looking for her books now. I loved the character development, 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ was good, BDSM exploration was fun, the mafia connection added angst, I certainly recommend this book!
I really enjoyed this book. There was some triggers with the domestic violence. But I love Diego. I found the BDSM to be light. But that's probably because I'm in the lifestyle. But the love was amazing. Plenty of grammar errors.

The story was really good. There were lots of steamy scenes filled with kink. He is very protective of her right from the start. I loved the scene with her and Aiden, she was so intimidated by him for a while.
Very good read.

I loved it. It was never boring and I had a hard time putting it down. Diego reminded me so much of my husband/Daddy too which I loved most about this book. I also went through abuse from my ex that put me in the hospital so I could relate to her in that way too and obviously relate to her and Diegos relationship too a lot.
I really didn't have many expectations going into this series, and found the first a little rushed, especially when it came to the really tense part with the kidnapper. I did find this book to be a bit better, and it seems like Jess found her groove, and a decent balance between the heart of the story and the conflict that arose. I just started the third book, and I'm really enjoying it.
It needs a good editor. Just a lot of grammar mistakes and wrong usage of words. Like they’d say “We was” instead of “we were” Also I felt the mafia story line was poorly used. It was more like a side plot that didn’t need to be put as the climax. You had it all set up with him being in love with another woman and didn’t take that route.
The fugitive mafia princess w amnesia becomes Diego’s forever sub ❤️ Zara It’s super spicy 🌶️ they are ultimately so good together but he is out there soiling his royal oats all over the place for a while.

I get that the characters are the same but too mush of this story felt like the first one lots of grammatical and spelling errors. If you write a character who uses terms of endearment from another language then use the right version. She would be cariña not cariño. I like the characters though.
I love this book. I love when the main character has like a revelation about herself. I love that it is dual point of view. I’m definitely love the whole daddy kink age gap I love it. I love that they can explore new avenues with each other and this the whole touch her and I’ll kill you. She’s mine. I’m claiming her vibe. It was not a slow burn and I love the BDSM.

I just finished and my goodness 🥵 the fun in the book is just 🔥🔥🔥 it’s my new favorite bdsm book!! I haven’t read the first book but now I have to go do that!! Add to your tbr and read it! You won’t be disappointed!!!
So good! Fast paced fast burn romance with a dark side. Zara and Diego are perfect for each other. Diego does everything in his power to keep Zara safe and out of the way of the Mafia man who bought her. I read this in two days it was that good!
I loved this book and loved that it was about Diego and his side and whether he found love or not, especially after who he was liking from the first book, Explicitly Owned, he couldn’t have. What a fantastic read!
I like this one more than the first book with Aiden and Emma. Diego and Zara’s relationship seems more normal and there isn’t much violence. What really made this such an easy read was the short paragraphs and the dual POV. I really enjoyed this book! I think Diego is WAY hotter than Aiden tbh
I absolutely loved Diego and Zara's story! Such a beautiful plot with just the right amount of spice. I highly recommend this series and am patiently waiting for book #3 to release. I love the world the author created for these.
I genuinely enjoyed this story, though I wish we could have seen more of the building of the relationship. I felt like that wasn’t fleshed out enough. Once they started having sex, it was instant. The stuff with her family also felt kinda random.
This gets you in your major feels, gripped from the first page. The characters come to life within the pages and the plot twists will keep you on the edge of your seat.
