This is the first book in the series, concentrates on Virginia and Titan and ends with their HEA. I am looking forward to reading more in this series and finding out how the other members of Titan's team find their own mates.

I loved this book and managed to read it in one day. It was full of humour and sarcasm and had me laughing throughout. Virginia was a great character, she just couldn't stop talking, she had absolutely no filter and I really enjoyed what she came out with.

Titan works for a security team with a difference, they are all shifters. When Virginia comes crashing into his life, he realises she is his mate. He and his team rise to the challenge of figuring out what is going on and who is so determined to find and eliminate Virginia.

The story was a great mix of steamy romance, action, and suspense. It kept me reading to find out how the story ended but the characters and action kept me entertained along the way.

This was the first book I've read from this author and I am definitely going to check out her other books whilst I wait for book 2 in this series.

Let's see... I like this author. This is the second book I've read from her (the other Held by a Monster). Her plots are great with the steam to match. The thing I have a problem with is the mature situations that are handled with immature reactions. I get that it's meant to be funny, but it felt off somehow. That's the reason why I gave it only 4 stars. I will definitely continue reading her books.

Awesome read, love it! Titan and Virginia make for a wonderdul fated mate couple. I couldn't stop laughing. So much sarcasm, humor, non-stop action, and hawt sex. It was great, and the nicknames she had for her ex-husband were hilarious! 4 stars. Behemoth story is next, and I can't wait to read it!

I was very lucky to be sent an ARC copy of this great book.
What can I say .Sexy broody shifters. A heroine hiding from her ex husband and a load more disgruntled criminals and in the midst of all the danger a fated mate emerges to keep her safe.
Loved this book its got everything,suspence,danger,humour and hot steamy fun times.
Can't wait for the next book !

Have you ever taken a chance on a new-to-you author and been SO happy that you did? Have you felt like you needed to drop everything (but can’t) and read their backlist?! That’s how I’m feeling right now about Kenzie Kelly! I was browsing Booksprout and Titan popped up on my screen. I read the description and was intrigued even though it’s outside of my usual genres. I’m so happy I did because it was such a well-written and fun read. It was a fast-paced read too, and it was the cause of a very late night of reading.

Kenzie created an engaging world with captivating characters. Paranormal romance including shifters isn’t my usual cup of tea, but OMG if you’ve ever even considered giving paranormal romance a try you’ve got to read this book! I wish the whole series was available to binge! Kenzie wrote such vibrant characters that I feel invested in the futures of the supporting cast of Titan and Superhuman Security.

I also enjoyed the action adventure sequences with a dash of humor. My god…the nicknames that Virginia came up with for her ex had me laughing so hard my husband asked what was so funny! I’d share some of them here, but my favorites would get me in trouble with the moderators. I guess you’ll just have to read Titan and Virginia‘s story to find out which creative nickname is your favorite!

So what do you need to know about the book in a nutshell? Virginia had to fake her death to get away from her criminal husband, and Titan happened find her in her time of need. Luckily, Titan works for Superhuman Security and becomes her security detail. Superhuman Security quickly adopts Virginia as one of their own as soon as they realize Titan’s feelings for her. Virginia’s bffs become part of the plot line in her story, and I suspect they will play a large part in the remainder of the series which I’m definitely here for!

Up next in the series: Will Gaelynn get Behemoth to string more than a few words together? I’m betting she will because it seems like Kenzie writes low angst, high heat stories with happily ever afters. I’m looking forward to reading their journey though!.

This was a fast paced action/romance shifter story. From the very beginning there is action and it keeps going right to the end. There is a lot going on and Virginia is in the middle of it all.
Virginia is a woman with little to no filter. This is can be quite funny. She says things that most women would bite their tongue before saying. She is also an insecure person. This is due to going up poor and then her husband constantly belittling her. She takes solace in her relationship with her two best friends Cate and Gaelynn. I wish I had thought to count the many different insulting names Virginia came up with for her husband.
Titan is a strong and loyal wolf shifter. He is also someone who has never experienced love. He was dropped off and put into the Society's(supernaturals) foster care until he aged out. He joined the military before finding a "family" at the Supe Security copy. Titan and his "family" never believed that there was such a thing as fated mates, until he realizes that is what Virginia is to him.
Titan and Virginia are great together. He is protective of her and respects her opinions. She shows him care and for the first time he truly feels loved.
The supporting characters are all memorable. My favorites are Ghost, Wasp and Behemoth. All the members of the Supe Security Co. have usual nick names.
I look forward to reading the next book and seeing what happens with Behemoth and Gaelynn. Hopefully, there will be a third book telling Cate and Ghost's story.

Virginia had no idea she was married to one of the most despicable criminal men until he tried to have killed. His dealings with other criminals were recorded and she unwittingly took them when she left which now has her fighting to survive. Being protected by official men should mean the difference between making it to court but when they are found in the safe house, she might just stumble upon a different type of protector.
Titan is a wolf shifter who works for a special security firm and who is most likely the best option to keep this tiny woman alive.
The fact she is his mate and he can't control his instincts will make this fight vicious but necessary.
Will they reveal the truth? Can there be a happily ever after?

I loved this story with its constant action which had my adrenaline pumping crazed around my body just from reading. Titan and Virginia have an electrically charged chemistry that sees this large and growly male desperate to fulfill his mission.
Nothing is straightforward and nothing can be predictable as plot twists batter you like stormy weather.
I was amazed by the sure level of imagination that dripped onto the page and images that were conjured as if you were in the thick of it.
I can't wait to see if Behemoth can be persuaded to vocalise when it's his turn to keep his mate.

Start of the Superhuman Security series and my first from this author but I will be waiting for the second in the series but keep in mind once you start you won’t put it down so grab your favorite snack, tea, coffee, wine or water and get comfortable 😊. Bodrick sexy as all get out Titan is in the woods enjoying a quiet day when bullets fly nearly hitting him, going out to check finds a women he immediately recognizes as his mate which surprises him because he never thought he would find a mate, he hoped but never thought the fates would bless him with a mate and now that the fate have he will do everything in his power to protect her keeping her alive taking out anyone/everyone that means her harm. Virginia such a sweetheart hasn’t had a great life living with an abusive, criminal husband to live she faked her own death in hopes that he will believe she is dead allowing her to live unfortunately, things do not go as planned with the US Marshalls and when the man in the woods finds her for the first time she feels safe especially after he explains where he works. The attraction is undeniable and the magnetic pull between them can’t be ignored for the first time in a long time she feels loved, cared but is she safe, will his world accept her being human, will they ever capture her ex. husband, will he go after her friends or will the program protect her friends (will they get their own story ….just asking), and will she get her much needed HEA?

A fun and quick read, easy to dive into. I'd been hoping to find a bodyguard book that didn't feature a spoiled famous heroine so I was glad to find this one. I did have a few things that irked me, but they're more of a personal preference. *Minor spoilers ahead* First, she gets kidnapped from the car two different times? And Titan is right there and gets shot both times? A bit repetitive. Second, the negative self-talk has got to go; I'm so tired of it. It's okay to doubt yourself from time to time, but I'm really sick of the "I'm not hot enough for you" narrative. Third, more open door spice! When there was an instant connection between the two MCs and then they started to act on it, I was expecting more on-page action. Not one quick round that was light on the descriptions and then a fade to black with a "how cute that she falls asleep afterwards 9 times out of 10" recap. I also would have enjoyed more physical descriptions of the supporting cast; they all had distinct personalities but I forgot who was who while reading. Overall the story was well written, I enjoyed the characters (the FMC was really cute minus the negative self-talk), and it was a good premise.

Virginia is in witness protection in a cabin with the US Marshals after faking her death. Suddenly she is being shot at, in an SUV, racing for their lives until the snow and mud cause the two vehicles to crash. Wolf shifter Titan of Superhuman Security has a cabin nearby and hears the gunshots, racing to find her and the marshal still alive. Back at his cabin, calls are made, plans are set in motion and the action-packed storyline is off and running. The characters are terrific, determined and work as one. Loved their codenames and personalities. The storyline is a roller coaster ride of drama, danger, kidnapping, rescue, car chases, bumpy roads, freezing MFC, two best friends, Stumpy the squirrel and a teddy bear nanny cam. Loved the vivid locales, their chemistry and her crazy banter. They will never have a dull moment in the future. Terrific ending. Can not believe this was only book 1. Who will we get for book 2?.

I actually laughed out loud, several times.

I have read many books with reviews that claimed that the reader laughed out loud. I would buy those books on that recommendation alone. I would find myself at the end of the book with not even once having cracked a smile. The book may have been a great story and had interesting characters but "laugh out loud", nope. Until today. All I will say is, Stumpy. I still smile when I think about it and chuckle to myself. The main female character had wonderful descriptive names for her ex-husband. Those made me chuckle. The story was wonderful, filled with action and good people who took care of each other. With all that said, I believe that Mouse deserves two treats and a belly rub. Thank you for a great book.

Action book with some romance

Bare bones: it’s a werewolf and his human mate on the run with some smexy times here and there. Light on the steam and romance though, which is where I think this went a little haywire. Was it a romance? In the beginning, sure. If you count just getting it on with no deep convos to balance out the instalust. But the action/circumstances they were in dominated the story a bit too much and the romance aspect of the story suffered because of it.

Essentially, I don’t know how I feel about this one. I like the characters, the FMC was hilarious, and the pacing was good. But the balance was off between being a romance or an action book.

I really enjoyed the romance between Titan and Virginia. There is humor and cynicism. Titan works for a security team, they are all shifters. Titan happens to hear gunshots close to his cabin, he runs to the place where the SUV crashed and finds Virginia and the marshal still alive. There is lots of action, running, drama, danger, kidnappings, rescue, protection, and fated mates. Their love is contagious and the Super Security Team is awesome. I can't wait until the next book comes out.

Entertaining shifter adventure romance. Titan is an enjoyable read, but I swung between liking the hero and heroine and ditzing them. What type of superhuman security shifter gets taken advantage of by the bad guys - how many times? Virginia, the heroine is on the one hand a sassy kick butt heroine and on the other dumber than a ton of rocks. Still, I read the entire book and found it entertaining. Plus, there were no distracting spelling or grammar errors that I spotted.

This book has it all, action, romance, shifters and is hilarious!! Virginia is one of the most fun characters I've read in a long time, she just can't seem to help it her mouth goes faster than her brain and what comes out is pure ridiculousness!! The story is a great read and I highly recommend it but don't read it when everyone is sleeping I woke my daughter laughing so hard!! I cannot wait for the next book! Hurry please!!

This was a unexpected surprise that I very much enjoyed.

Virginia was a fun and entertaining character that had you laughing, even when her life was threatened. Titan is a sexy wolf that has you melting with the passion the comes from him.

Yes there is a threat and suspense to the story that keeps you on the end. Overall, a great read with moment that you can't help but laugh and others that gasping.

One treat for Mouse!

I love quirky characters. Virginia was one quirky cookie. The nicknames for her ex was hilarious. The way Titan just went with her mental flow was awesome. I really liked that there was a lot of action throughout the book but it wasnt boring inbetween the action. I do hope we get more into this world as more books come out. For me this was a great start to the series and I can't wait to read the rest of the books in the series when they come out!

This story was sexy with a lot of laughs from these characters. She says what’s on her mind without any filters and it is a riot. This is action packed and fast paced. I loved it. Crazy lady with a very big wolf shifter. I laughed so hard when the squirrel dropped on Ghost's head and he was trying to get it off his head and yelling. I would have loved to see that.
