A remarkable cat was once born in the little town of Felicity-by-the-Lake, a cat with fur that seemed to shift color in the slightest breeze. Easy read. Cute story about an unusually colored cat, an idyllic town taken over by a selfish and unethical mayor, a young orphan, and how the town finally stood up against the mayor to take back their town.

Technically a reread for me- looked at my bookshelf and decide to pick up a childhood book I remember fondly. It’s a sweet story with a good moral and a great cat. The language is quite lovely at times as well.

This was a really great book! It had a very good lesson on how being selfish is not right. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good book.

This has always been one of my favorite books. Yes, it is a kid's book, but it uses beautiful language and imagery that captured me when I first read it almost 14 years ago. It is a reat story that has several important big ideas and morals including the importance of community, that being different is a good thing, the importance of selflessness, and the power of friendship. As an adult, I still love this book, and it is one of my top favorites. As a future teacher, I definitely plan on having this book in my library and encouraging students to read it.

This is one of the best books that I have ever read. I've learnt not to be too sellfish and too picky. I would surely like to recommend this book to all my friends.

This was one of the earlier books I've read as an elementary student and I never forgot about it. It's not your typical animal adventure story and is unique in its genre
