This had a really strong start but then teetered off slightly after that. I was expecting big things for this story, and I got a good story but nothing that would warrant a 5. Plus, I was a bit confused with characters for a second. I think it could have been a mistake though. I thought Laurel was Troy’s ex from the last book but Laurel’s personality and career are completely different than his ex’s so it didn’t add up. Then, in the beginning when Arson gives a run down of the reoccurring characters, he mentions Laurel as Troy’s ex. I still didn’t believe it until the ex shows up later on at Club Red, throwing herself at Arson and her name is revealed again as Lyla. Now it added up and I realized that my initial thought that Laurel and Lyla are two different people made sense and I was right. The author did make a mistake. Anyway, I thought the club would play more of an impact in this story but it just serves as a hang out now and none of the heroes and heroines use it for its main purpose. You may as well just move the location to a bar or restaurant. Ok, now I’m really going to touch on the story here. I wouldn’t necessarily call this an enemies to lovers story though, that was the impression I got after reading the first couple chapters. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like Laurel because in my mind I was thinking she was the crazy woman from the last book. It wasn’t until it was confirmed they are totally different that I changed my impression on her. She was bubbly, caring and a good person. She didn’t scorn love, she was just afraid of it and what it entails but open to starting a relationship. Arson had this same mentality but more strict when it came to falling in love. He absolutely didn’t want anything to do with it but he’ll be in casual relationships, friends with benefits or limited attention with women. They weren’t label people and it showed. You don’t even hear them utter they love each other until the epilogue and I didn’t know how I felt about this. Their whole relationship was very blasé and not serious. I wanted more fire and emotion with them and towards each other. Sure you got heat and passion, but there was no love. It didn’t help that Arson kept saying “get her out of my system” during the whole book and I got over this real quick. I’m ok touching on this in the beginning, but to have the hero with this mentality the whole book, well it falls short and I was over it. What are you doing with her then if you keep thinking this way? I think this is what broke me and determined my 4 rating, plus the mediocre way he tries to get her back. I get what he was trying to do but it really wasn’t impressive. It didn’t have that emotional impact I would have wanted and what most romance includes. It wasn’t a big, romantic, can’t live without you gesture, because again, no emotion or even a hint that he fell in love with her. Without that connection, well, you end up getting a decent book, not an excellent, amazing, heart wrenching story.

A nicely done story with extraordinary characters and a great storyline that captures your attention and keeps you hooked and fascinated and turning the pages until the end. A billionaire and virgin romance, enemies-to-lovers romance opposite attracts story, hate-to-love vibes, filled with lust, steam, obsession, secrets, passion, and more.
Laurel is a dentist and pet lover, she was leaving work one day when she rear ended another vehicle because she was trying to not hit a cat. The driver of the other car came out yelling at her for hitting his car, all she could think about was how rude he was and couldn't wait to be out of his presence. Arson a businessman and owner of a sex club was on his way and rushing to meeting when a goregous female rear ended. However, he was too piss to appreciate her beauty. They exchanged insurance information believing that they would never see each other again, but joke was on them.
Laurel has been the star in Arson since their encounter and she has been running circles in his thoughts. Arson was having a tooth ache and needed to see a dentist asap. He went to dentist and in walks woman from the accident. And just when he had finally manage to stop thinking about. She was very calm and professional, he wanted to throw her off so he use his finger and brush her thigh and she shivers. He's not a relationship guy but the how she responded to his touch he knows that he wants more and he will not stop until he get her out of his system. The two embark on relationship of discovery, spice, adventure, and pleasure. She made him wanted to break his own rules that he has set for his life and let her spend the night. He thought she would be a one night stand and she would be easy to get over but he was wrong.

Their Accidental Road to Forever -
The first time Laurel and Arson met didn’t go well because Laurel accidentally hit Arson’s car, but it appears that interaction left an impression on each other. Fate brought them back together again, when Arson needed dental intervention and coincidentally ended up at the Dental office where Laurel works. This second interaction however, made them realise their attraction towards each other.

Whilst Arson was attracted to Laurel, he wasn’t into relationships, which continuously reeked havoc on his psyche. Laurel on the other hand was weary of relationships, because of the pain her best friend endured due to a broken relationship. The back and forth of their relationship had me totally engrossed, as it felt like I was watching a match between John McEnroe and Ivan Lendl Wimbledon finals.

Unfortunately, just as they embarked on a relationship, an issue of failure to communicate information caused Laurel to walk away, but Arson’s persistence and her best friend’s coaxing, helped her finally acknowledge her feelings for Arson and work towards their happy life together. This book is definitely worth a read, as it takes you on a wild and wonderful journey, that ends up with true love. Reading this book will be worth your while.

Laurel is a dentist. As she was leaving work one day a cat ran in front of her, she swerved and rear ended a jerk. Arson was in a hurry for a meeting, he owns a sex club when he was rear ended. The woman who rear ended him is beautiful but his mind is on business. Arson hasn’t been able to stop thinking about the woman hit him. Even with all the beautiful women around him she is all he can think about. Arson has an emergency with a tooth and when the dentist came is it was the woman who hit him. Arson is not a man who has relationships. Laurel is an innocent woman who is a virgin. She always tries to be kind to others. He accidentally brushes her leg and she shivers. Now he knows that she likes him. Arson wants to take Laurel on date. He has a different feeling about her. There is chemistry between Arson and Laurel. Will Arson change the way he feels as far as relationships go? Will Laurel lose her virginity? Will Arson and Laurel find love and happiness together?

This was a great book and the main characters took me on a wild ride. Laurel is a dentist and while leaving work she swivels to miss a cat and rear ends another car and when he gets out furious acting like a jerk but Laurel remains calm and try’s do the same for the man but it doesn’t help. Arson is a business man of a sex club and while rushing to a meeting he gets rear ended by a sexy hot female but in to mad to really see her but now I cannot get her out of my mind but slowly i do but when I desperately need a dentist who walks in but the sexy female that hit me and when I accidentally brush my hand on her leg she shivers and I want to get to know her better but I don’t do relationships but maybe for her she could be the one his been looking for all along. What happens between them and do they have a future together or not.

This is a beautiful love story where Arson and Laurel accidentally meet when she rear ends Arson’s car while he’s trying to get to a meeting. Arson reacts badly while Laurel tries to be kind and reasonable. Arson misses his meeting but can’t get Laurel out of his thoughts so when he ends up in her dentist chair for an emergency visit does he become flirty with Laurel. These two have an undeniable connection full of steam and once they become a couple they both develop genuine feelings for one another. Arson doesn’t do relationships but finds himself smitten with Laurel and wanting to take a chance but after a misunderstanding Laurel walks away. Arson is besides himself and he takes matters into his own hands by finding an adorable way of asking for Laurel’s forgiveness! Arson and Laurel meet when she runs into his car when she tries to avoid a cat. Things did not start off well between them. Then he runs into her when he needs his tooth fixed and she is the dentist he goes to. Sparks ignite between them and its the start of something between them. Its not long before things heat up between them. Just when its seems things are going well between them Laurel learns something Arson hadn't told her and it could have her ending things between them. Will she give him another chance?

This is a steamy story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Arson and Laurel met accidentally following a car accident when she accidentally rear-ended Arson’s car. He behaved badly because he was in a rush to get to a meeting so their meeting was far from friendly. The next time they met he found himself sitting in her Dentist's chair and decides to try and get her to go out with him.

Their story is well-written and held my attention, the characters are well-drawn and do share an undeniable chemistry. I loved following along as Arson tried to win her round.

If Laurel didn't have bad luck, she wouldn't have any luck at all because everything seems to happen to her. So when her luck is a car accident with a hot, much older guy, she can't seem to get her mind off him. Arson is in no way wanting a relationship of any kind. But when he starts to see the sassy, younger woman that is wreck havoc in his life, will he be able to stay away from her?

When Laurel finds out what Arson's career is, will their romance be over or will they be able to find a way to trust and love forever?.

Arson is in a rush to a meeting when Laurel rear-ends his car. He is not in a good mood, but she tries to be upbeat. Shortly after, he ends up in her dentist chair for an emergency visit. Now the tingles really start between them.
Loved the characters and the storyline as they work toward a relationship. Lots of drama, smiles, steam, surprises, and entertaining situations. Great ending to wrap it all up.

It all started with a bump, when Laurel runs into Arson, but they don't have a great impression even if they both find each other attractive. Fate has not finished with them though, for later on Arson ends up in Laurel's dental chair. Will Arson change his mind on Laurel, seeming like a bubble-gum pop star (his first impression)? I loved this sizzling couple, who have a rocky start, but I couldn't help but cheer them on.

I didn't care for this one.
I liked the H and h and the other characters but the story seemed off.
She's supposed to be "innocent" but it never comes up. She's supposed to be 30 but acts like a 13 yr old.
His business is never discussed, he just assumes everything.
And the rest of the story just seems to be an odds and ends filler.
Even the epilogue was weird.

Just what I expected from Claire Angel. This story held my attention and kept me captivated. Sometimes you just need a good insta-story where things don't seem like they'll work out but the chemistry overpowers rational thought.

Even though it's part of a series you do not have to read the others as it's a complete story itself.

I laughed so hard when the recreated the dodging the kitty on the road. I loved the old lady who had to add her 2 cents into the drama. Claire I love how you develop the characters and the real life situations that you put them in. I will always read your books. Enjoy the read.

distracted from story

Unfortunately there are so many spelling errors I had to reread and guess sentences. A very sad distraction from the story. Might need a new editor.
Or a teacher especially when character names are spelt incorrectly as well.

I liked the storyline but if your reading this for spice then you are reading the wrong book. There was very minimal spice between the main characters but it was still a decent read
