Over the last couple of years I have hundreds of emails from people wanting a book version of my online course and now after 3 years of refinement, I think the course can't get a whole lot better so I'm happy to put it in print.
It comes with 2 CDs as well with audio examples or the chords and exercises and also has a bonus chapter with some other popular lessons (Solo Blues, Silent Night and a lead guitar thing). It also includes super photos of the chords and techniques, some with multiple angles. The CD's come with PDF files for the JUSTIN method stuff and Practice Routines.
It's bigger than the songbook, the classic 12" x 9" (305 x 229mm) which I'm told is the most commons size for method books, and has 176 Pages.
The most comprehensive beginner's guitar method ever made?
First I went through it fast and then went through it slow, crashing into a walk over and over until I could grasp a new concept. So, I guess I’m an intermediate guitar player now.
A great method for beginner guitarists, Justin runs a website completely free based on donations and the selling of method books. Almost all the content of this book is available for free on the website, except for a few bonus lessons, but this guy gives so much that I bought the book (it is also more convenient for practice). Justin definitely helped me get started seriously with guitar. His method might not work for everybody, but I know it worked marvellously for me (and for thousands of other people) I would definitely recommend anyone who wants to learn how to play guitar to check his wonderful website.
Just starting out and so far so good! Would have given it a 5 star rating except the copy that arrived from Amazon is "Perfect bound" not "spiral bound" so it is difficult to keep it open to a specific page.
Brilliant guide for learning to play, it is available free on his website alongside his youtube how tos. It is nice to have a physical copy that fits nicely in the guitar case too. Highly recommended.
