The Malone family is uprooted from their home in Miami when dad Jonathan gets a job offer that is impossible to refuse. I got this book for free on my e-reader. It was interesting to learn about the history of some of the Salem Witch Trials, but there were some parts of the fictional story that were dragged on. I wish that there were more story lines in the book that could stand alone. I would still give the next book a try.
