When it comes to the massive world of books and authors, I'm an unknown. But those readers I have reached, rave about my ability to give them page-turning, fast-paced stories with no filler. I've been told I have an ability to create real and identifiable characters, and I pride myself on that. I try very hard to deliver engaging stories with plot twists that will surprise even the most seasoned reader.

Although born in Montreal, Canada, I spent most of my life growing up in the ethnic and cultural melting pot of Southern California. For more than twenty-five years, cities such as Torrance, Redondo Beach, Long Beach, Lakewood, and various parts of Orange County were all places I've called home.

While in California, I spent several years on the music scene, playing guitar and singing with my band in various clubs around the So-Cal and L.A. area. In 2004 when the band dissolved, I shifted gears, turning my talents from writing music to writing books. My first work, a thirty-five thousand word novella, was traditionally published in 2005. With that victory, however, came a bout with depression I tried to cure with prescription drugs and alcohol, which sent me spiraling into one of the lowest lows of my life. In 2009, I battled back and began writing again, releasing my first novel A FORTUNE IN LIES in 2012. With that title, I was signed to Pratt Literary Agency, and Several books have followed every year since.

I currently live in Tennessee with my wife and our son.

The beginning of the book should get you interested enough as it did me and it kept me interested enough to read in all in one go. It starts off slow but as you read on it gets faster. I enjoyed this easy to read missing persons mystery, kept my attention all the way through. Don´t expect violence, (well there is a scene but nothing really to write home about) there is just a little bad language, but nothing over the top, there is also a great love story going on also with the right amount of sex, its just a cosy mystery with plenty of humour, that lighten up the darker parts, well written in the first person, being Steven the main character, his life could be just about anyone’s except that his wife had gone missing a few years back, he is finally getting his own life back on track when.... bang..... you will want to read this book to see what happens. I enjoyed the bits with the flashes his wife, Victoria, although not many of them, a little freaky at times, but really cool.
There are some youngish, cool grandparents, who have the best relationship with the coolest four year old out there, grandkid , Kim and Lilah who is the best of the lot with her motorcycle and a little wild attitude

There is a twist every so often adding to the mystery and the questions the readers might have.

The characters are very real, with great character development.
Around the halfway mark, Clair Reynolds is introduced adding to the mystery., why? You wonder, well, you will just have to read on to find out. This part of the book was probably my least favourite as it didn´t seem to fit in until later on. But that is the only part I was slightly unhappy about the rest of the book is a really good read, recommended to anyone who want a too missing persons mystery. And regarding the ending, boy I had not seen that coming but who to believe??? I guess we will never find out. But love a happy ending.

This book follows a family as they try to find their missing daughter. Nothing is as simple as it might have been, making this one interesting book. Just when you think you've got it figured out, something comes along to twist the story again.

This book surprised me several times, which is unusual. I'm pretty good at predicting what's going to happen next, but I loved that I couldn't do that with Caught in a Web.

I particularly enjoyed the character of Lilah. She was wild and fun and made for great reading, but not so wild as to seem out of sync with the main character. You can easily imagine them together. I didn't have a character I particularly disliked until I got to the end of the story, but I'll give no spoilers here. I found the plot to be believable and very strong. I did feel that one of the mysteries was just left hanging, and so I am giving this book 4 stars instead of 5 because not all the pertinent mysteries were resolved. I wanted a little more closure than was provided, and not enough information to decide for myself how things went down.

Wow! I read this author's first book and liked it a lot, but this one I really enjoyed. There were enough twists and well written characters to keep me interested from beginning to end. The story was fun, touching, sexy, and mysterious. I will def keep reading his books. Big recommendation from this reader.
