The death of Ray hits Trish hard. She had only known Ray as her father for less than a year, and now he’s gone. Dead at the hands of the game and she blames Reese for it. At the funeral she acts out toward Reese, but he keeps his cool. Later that night his coolness is put to the test and the men of the crew witness something they thought they’d never see—Reese and Slim go to blows. The fight is quickly broken up, but the men see that the damage is done; Reese decides that he has had enough of the crew and ventures out on his own.
Styles has been given a few million from LaTanza to do three things. One—get access to her husband’s money which she believes Carlos to have close to twenty million. Two—kill the Russian Dmitri. And the most important of them all number three—get her daughter and deliver Carlita to her. Styles seizes the opportunity when he’s given dirt on Lucky and finds out that Reese is at odds with the crew and offers him one million to help him with the Queen Pin’s wish list. Twist and turns come about for these CHICAGO GANGSTERS.

this’s one of the best series I’ve ever read
Damn, damn, damn, I’m crying again. Man, I hate Carlos is gone and I hate how they did Petey. I wanted Carlos to be around for Carlita bc she loved her dad so much. I be so happy when LaTanza and the Haitians are gone. I’m tired of them killing my favorite characters. I need Chavez to come through and avenge Carlos and Petey. I knew my vibes wasn’t off about Trish. It was just some about her and I didn’t understand why Slim married her so quick not knowing who she really was. He was more attracted to her physical attributes and sex. He shouldn’t have married a woman like her, him being a mob boss. She’s not a boss woman material. And she just so petty to me. I didn’t know what was going on at the time, but I didn’t believe Slim and Reese were at war. It was a good twister. I feel bad for Mari, Pierre so foul. Well, I have to say I really enjoyed Styles but good things must come to an end. He wasn’t no joke but he did too much and was too greedy and money hungry, he played himself so sure of the badge.
