I'm a big Rick Steve's fan for travel planning, but this time I found his Scandinavia guide a little more lacking for anything outside of Oslo and Bergen in Norway. Very helpful for the time we spent in Oslo, but we chose the Lofoten Islands over Bergen and his guide had nothing on the Nordland.
Enter this guide. Not a ton of content, but it actually does have information on Bodø and Lofoten, which is what I wanted, and, supplementing with information from Lofoten hiking blogs, I found it helpful.
I also liked that it had some information on the areas surrounding Olso, not just Oslo. I was particularly interested in Tønsburg and this guide had a good section on the town that would've been very helpful I think had we actually been able to fit the town into our itinerary. Oh well.
