Can a family be destined to be rich? This assumption has proved to be true. Powerful merchant families and those born into the royal and noble class have recorded historical records of wealth passing on for a century or more. Now ask yourself if wealth can be passed on through many millennia. The Shellhorn family believes the seeds of wealth are inherent in their family DNA. This is the story of the Shellhorn Legacy.
Maybe I have missed something because based on other readers reviews they enjoyed Shellhorn Legacy. I received this book for free and I am voluntarily giving giving my honest review.
The storylines are good and are full of historical information. Yet, the storylines never did come together into one cohesive tale.
My greatest criticism of this book is the complete lack of editing. The grammar was questionable at times, the punctuation was atrocious and there were several instances when a characters name changed.
Shellhorn Legacy was a very intriguing book to read. It had a great story line and lots of factual information. The writing was supportive and descriptive. At times it left you feeling like you were right in the scene seeing and experiencing what was happing to each character. I enjoyed this book.
The story and characterizations were animated and believable. The reference to history was also a point of interest and created a glimpse into the era.
Ok firstly this book has lots of spelling mistakes, changes tenses in weird places. The story itself is more like a biography essay and jumps about so much that you cannot relate to the characters.
