Folksy account of author's travels through 17 African Nations. Jason Smart and his wife travel through Africa commenting on local sites, people and beers and sometimes throwing in a little history or background. I enjoyed the casual style of the book.

A perceptive author who can draw an unforgettable picture with a few words and does in the course of his accounts, give wonderful insights. Also a honest chronicler, who makes no bones about likes and dislikes, and his mistakes. Enjoyed the tour of the continent and look forward to letting him take me around other places too
