I liked it, I did. Arthurian stories have always held a special place somewhere inside me, this time however...

I missed Morgana, she was not mentioned, not once. The whole 'incident' between her and Arthur from which came Mordred was never told in this version of Arthur. Merlin was a 'simple human' without a single magical power.
And there was this guy called Guy who never before was present in an Arthurian tale. At least, not to my knowledge. And his puns were fun to read, but not enough for me to like his character and believe him relevant to the story. I would have prefered that his 'screentime' would have been given to Guinevere, to make her a stronger and a more important character to the story.

But, most of all, I was quite bummed out that Morgana made no appearance...

I did read Tristan and Isolde, but it felt like I was just re-reading Arthur, only with different names... So I did not bother reading Percival.
