Joe Anderson #1

Surviving In America: Under Siege

Rate this book
"Pure instinct made Joe take a flying dive to the ground behind a nearby woodpile located a few steps from his truck. An earsplitting explosion followed hard on the heels of his mad dive, the blast itself followed by parts of his truck. Hot shards of glass and pieces of metal fell from the sky like demented and dangerous hailstones.

A mile away, at the next farm, the Captain looked back at the echoed boom with a crooked smile.

"Gotcha!" he exclaimed as he crossed out Joe's name on the list of names and addresses he was carrying."

Welcome to America as you have never known it, where your worst fears and concerns are not conspiracy theories. They are real. Join Joe Anderson in this epic battle to Survive in an America that is Under Siege.

I was born and raised in Kansas, a loving father of three beautiful children and a husband of over fifteen years to an awesome lady.

I started writing PAW (Post Apocalyptic World) and TEOTWAWKI (The End Of The World As We Know It) fan-fiction as an amateur for approximately four years online. Success and encouragement from my fans have now turned a one-time hobby into a profession.

I have written two complete fiction novels to date, namely "Surviving In America: Under Siege" listed here at Goodreads, and it's sequel "Surviving With Joe" which is currently in the editing and formatting stage.

*NOTE Surviving in America: Under Siege is currently undergoing a thorough re-write, and is not currently for sale. The new version is almost ready to re-publish.

A third novel is partially finished, titled "Death Of A Digital World".

I am also writing other non-fiction books, with numerous other books in either the writing or planning stage.

Pretty bland fare

This book makes me think that it's more a collection of ideas not a real book. There are plenty of snippets of common ideas pulled from the common pool of "when the UN goes bad". The book needs editing as well, there are formatting and spelling problems. I still want to give the author more than one star, though. He has a basic idea of what he wanted to say and he put the effort in to publish a book. Unfortunately it's not a good one.

This was a pretty good premise with really bad writing. The story just didn't make any sense in some areas.
