"When you finally get started, when you overcome the resistance and the doubters, when you've done the first job and sent out the first invoice or had a wodge of cash put in your hand and had your first satisfied customer say 'Thank you, you've done a great job', or 'Can I have your business card, I need to tell my friend, colleague or boss about you', you'll feel like you've never done before." - Make Your Creativity Pay

This book is a great overview of the creative industry as it stands today - perfect for students or older people who would like to leave their desk job and pursue a more creative career on their own terms, but aren't sure how it all works to work for yourself, promote yourself, and diversify your portfolio through the internet as a creative entrepreneur. If you're already a tech-savvy business owner who is quite knowledgeable about this already, there won't be a lot that will be new to you, however I did appreciate the tools and projects that were presented and there were some great quotes I highlighted for inspiration.
