When Orion and his hyena clan set out to rescue wolf Sydney Nichols they had no idea that they would be rescuing their fate in this captivating erotic paranormal romance.

Due to a betrayal, Sydney has spent years being abused and believed that she would never know what freedom felt like until someone gives her a way to escape. The reader can’t help but get caught up in the story as Orion and his brothers set to rescue Sydney and discover that she is their mate. The attraction burns hot from the very beginning and only gets hotter with some scorching sex scenes that include m/f/m/m scenes, but the relationship of course will have to proceed with lots of tender loving care as Sydney heals from her horrific past. The characters are strong, compelling and grab the readers attention from the very beginning and the fast pace and smooth flowing plot captivates readers with lots of suspense and romance.

Spine tingling anticipation builds as the three brothers try to take care of and protect Sydney and hold themselves back from mating with her until she is ready…talk about making your heart swoon. Danger of course finds them and threatens their growing happiness adding spicy excitement to the story. The well orchestrated scenes and details capture the imagination and bring the story to life while the reader can’t help but get emotionally involved in the story as Sydney captures their heart.

R.E. Butler has created another fascinating shifter world that draws readers in and refuses to let them go until they have read every last word. The story is full of passion, intriguing characters and interesting, different elements that held me captive from the very beginning and I can’t wait to read the next one.

Poor Sydney. Betrayed by the one person who should have protected her. Glad she escaped from that horrible abuse and loved how she defended herself and her mates at the end.
When Orion, Sterling and Crux go on a rescue mission to save a female wolf who has asked for help, they never expect to find their mate.
Knowing how abused she must have been by the bruises on her emaciated body, they need to take things very slowly.
Loved how this played out and how once they communicated it all came together very nicely, especially when the nasty wolves made a play to get Sydney back. They get a well-deserved ending.
Have owned this book for ages. Previous review from back of book is missing but no hardship to reread.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - I LOVE THIS AUTHOR!!
A slow-burn romance that absolutely explodes with emotion. The moment Orion and his brothers find Sydney, there’s no going back, and you’re right there with them, holding your breath. Sydney’s past is haunting, but Orion and his crew are the perfect balance of tenderness and heat to help her rebuild. There’s something so powerful about watching this trio help Sydney confront the demons of her past while they claim her as their own. It’s intense, but also full of moments that’ll make your heart melt. The bond between Sydney and her mates grows in the most heartfelt way—definitely one for fans of fated mates and passionate love stories!

Sydney

I liked this story. I was terrified at the beginning of what would happen to Sydney when her supposed mate found out that his grandmother actually poisoned herself. I was so glad that she managed to escape. Now her truemates were great for her. Sterling was my favorite because while he was thought to be the quiet one, he was the most outspoken one.

Great book.

I have enjoyed this book, even with a few typos. Some of the sentences were missing a word or twice that the sentence make sense.

3.5-4 stars

This was a pretty good story. I liked Sydney and felt for her and the situation she was in. Orion, Crux, and Sterling are good guys and it's easy to root for them.

Sydney is a were-wolf and a really sweet girl but she had a very bad life. She grew up with a Mother that never wanted her and treated her like crap. She lived a crappy life but looked forward to getting out from under her Mom as soon as she hit 18. She shouldn't have waited because her Mom ends up sending her in to a hell that lasts for 6 years (wont go in to the details but it's a really bad life). When Sydney gets a chance to escape she takes it and ends up running straight in to the arms of Orion, Crux, and Sterling.

Orion, Crux, and Sterling are brothers and were-hyenas. Their kind mate with 3 brothers to one woman. Each trio has their own area of responsibility, Orion is the leader and makes most decisions, Crux is the homemaker and tends to take care of the household duties, and Sterling is the protector of the group, he has the biggest body (physically the strongest of the 3) and sees to the security of the den (their home). They're really good guys and get called in to pick up Sydney by a were relocation group that helps abused weres. When they meet Sydney they know she's their true mate but also know that after all she went through she'll need time to heal.

Despite an initial incident between Sydney and the guys things are pretty hands off while she settles in. The guys don't want to tell her that she's their mate because their afraid to pressure her. She wants them but doesn't think they want her..because if she was their mate they'd have told her right? Fortunately this doesn't last too long and it comes out that they're mates. Sydney, having had around a month to get used to being free is ready to grab on to whatever happiness she can get and is happy to be their mate and get on with her life.

There does end up being a bit of an issue with that when some of her former captors come after her. There's some drama but the danger is neutralized and all turns out good. After the drama is over we get to see Sydney and the guys settle in together and have some happy news to start their mating on. I enjoyed that the action drama was out of the way somewhat early in the story. It was actually kind of nice to see the last part of the book just being a HEA (and not a happy ending that's almost interrupted by a last minute danger and then the HEA). The secondary characters were cool (mostly the foursome from book #1 and a trio of cousins that haven't found their mate yet)...although I didn't read book #1 so I wasn't as invested in them as others that have read book #1 might be.

Overall I enjoyed this story. It was pretty good and while it had some disturbing subject matter it wasn't what I'd call a "dark read". Sydney is so sweet and I was really happy for her and her men and the story ended with a sweet and happy vibe. :D

Summary
Every Dawn Forever (Hyena Heat Two) by R.E. Butler is the story of an abused werewolf, Sydney, who is rescued from an abusive relationship by the three, hot were-hyenas She has to slowly re-claim herself and start building a new life after her escape. Fortunately the three were-hyenas are happy to help her because they want to be a part of that new life. Every Dawn Forever is a fun read for shifter and menage fans especially those who enjoyed the previous book in the series, Every Night Forever. This story is worth the $2.99 ebook price.

Fantasy World
The setting is an alternate version of contemporary Kentucky where various types of shifters are a known part of society. Most of the action takes place in their homes or the surrounding woods.

Tingle Factor
The books starts off with a bang, literally, and ends with one too. The action is hot and there are plenty of dirty details.

Romance
This foursome is attracted to one another quickly, but there are plenty of stumbles along the road to true love. Sydney is unsure of both herself and the men's intentions. Are they interested or are they just being kind?

Drama
The drama is high as Sydney makes her escape with assistance from the were-hyenas Later drama is over almost as soon as it begins which keeps the focus on the romance.

Heroine
Sydney is a sympathetic character and her treatment at the hands of her captor is harsh. She's a survivor though, and when given a chance, makes the most of it. Sydney doesn't spend any time whining or saying “why me?” She does fall into her new relationship fairly quickly, but then again this is a romance novel so it's to be expected.

Heroes
Orion, Crux, and Sterling are hot and you will definitely be jealous you don't get to spend the winter in their basement den with them. They are a bit hard to keep straight at times, but it's clear they all love Sydney and want to make up for every bad thing that has ever happened to her. They are very likeable and play good romantic characters.

Review for Every Dawn Forever- A Hyena Heat Novel by R.E. Butler

R.E. Butler is phenomenal at spinning a paranormal-erotic romance tale. I have read every book written by Butler and have yet to be disappointed. Every Dawn Forever is no exception, while this is the second book in the series, it can be read as a stand-alone as it is about different characters than book one. I love how if you do start from the beginning of one of Butler's series in each of the following books within the series you get to see a snippet into the old characters lives together... almost like getting an extended epilogue.

Sydney Nichols is a werewolf who hasn't had a good life. Born to a mother who didn't want her and a father who she never knew made her childhood difficult at best, turning 18 was suppose to mean freedom and a new beginning - sometimes life just isn't fair. Several years later she is worn down and tired of the life she has been forced to live. When opportunity presents itself to get out, she doesn't hesitate to take the chance.

Orion, Crux, and Sterling Stone are were-hyenas and brothers. They have recently relocated and are eager to find their shared mate. All three of these men are sexy alpha men, of course! They aren't alpha jerks, but protective, sweet, and considerate. Taking over a mission to help relocate a she-wolf wasn't something they had planned on, but fate was on their side. It is really hard to pick just one of these men to say he is my favorite BBF in the book, but if I *HAD* to I would pick Sterling. Not only do I think his name is smexy, but he is also the protector of the family. There is just something about an alpha man who could crush you, but is gentle and kind that makes me swoon. (le sigh)

Beware, if you aren't into kinky smut with m/f/m/m action then you should probably stay away from this whole series... but if you enjoy reading super sexy smut that will leave you lookin' for your true mate this and all other R.E. Butler books are probably for you! I give the story in this one a 4 stars and 4 wet panties on the smut-o-meter!

**3.5 “Mas Karda Enai Liro” Stars**

Title: Every Dawn Forever
Series: Hyena Heat, #2
Author: R.E. Butler
Cliffhanger:
HEA:
“He didn't want just one morning with her, just one dawn breaking across the horizon. He wanted every dawn forever, every night, and the hours in between.”

I enjoyed the first book in the series - Every Night Forever and this was no exception.

The main heroine - Sydney - was a really great female lead. I liked that she was scarred and had a past but stayed strong and unyielding even though she was scared and vulnerable.

Enter Orion, Crux, and Sterling

Sweet. Hot. Protective.

I loved all three of them and how fierce and loving they were when it came to Sydney, making her feel loved and helping her overcome her fears.
“You're ours now, Sydney. Forever,” he said, solemnly.
“I already was,” she promised.

The main thing that stopped me from giving the book a higher rating, were the details. I would have preferred it were less descriptive, with more dialogue as I skimmed some parts where it just got too much.

All in all, I did enjoy the book, it was a pretty good read and I am excited to read the third book in the series, Every Sunset Forever.

Every Dawn Forever
By R.E. Butler

Orion and his brothers, were-hyenas, work by day in a gym. By night or on the side, they work for an organization that rescues were's in trouble. Sometimes clans, groups, packs, will force there will on individuals because of the old ways of the pack. This organization is the only place to turn too. So when Orion and his brothers get a call about getting a young woman away from her abusive husband, they get ready for the job.

Sydney Nichols, never had a good relationship with her mother. Sydney was the adult and kept things going in the household. Her mother resented having to be a parent to her. So on Sydney's 18th birthday, her mother did the unthinkable, sold her to a pack of were's. With her plans for a future gone and trapped with a man she doesn't love and violently abusive in every way, she knows her time has come to get out or die trying.

The brothers, just want to help another were in trouble. Finding their mate was never in their thoughts until seeing Sydney. Sydney needs to heal both mentally and physically. Will the brothers be able to help Sydney heal from the years of abuse, will they be able to hold off their attraction, will a husband bent of revenge and mad because she left him come back to seek revenge on them all.

The Ashland Pride series, is one of my favorites. Sydney, is trying to escape a very bad situation. Ms Butler really throws you in and gets you fighting for Sydney. As you read, the story unfolds and the attraction builds from the beginning and just keeps going. It shows that LOVE really does heal all wounds. The love you feel between all of them is amazing. The story was very well written and the action above and below the sheets is amazing. Great book ...Great series..

I really liked this story. What I liked about it most, I think, was the fact that even though the heroine is in danger it resolved with a lot of story left over. The ending is not rushed, feels natural and is believable. This is the second book in the series, but can be read as a stand-alone.

Sydney is one of the strongest heroines I’ve read in a while. She has so much to deal with, yet does with courage and an eye to the future. Sydney is sold to be mated by her very neglectful mother when she’s only 18. Her new “mate” abuses her in every way for years. The one act of kindness shown to her is when she is given the means for escape. Before she runs her abusive mate does something that makes the night very hard on her and very interesting for her and her rescuers.

I just loved Orion, Crux, and Sterling. Not only have they found their mate, but they have to deal with her being a survivor of terrible abuse. Of course they help her through what was done to her on the night of her escape, but after that they back off and try to let her lead. What they don’t know is she’s waiting for them to make the first move. This causes a bit more hurt to Sydney, but it is straightened out shortly. The men’s personalities came out clearly, their different characteristics were apparent and they had depth.

The sex was oh so HOT and plentiful, but never repetitive. Butler handled the ménage scenes very well. I would recommend this to those looking for an extended happily ever after with lots of steamy action and tender caring Heroes who happen to turn furry every now and then. This will probably be a book I will re-read.

Very Good 2!

Sydney was sold to a very mean abusive Alpha by her mother; the Alpha gave her to his equally mean abusive grandson as a mate (but as they never shared any mating bite, it wasn't a true mating). The Alpha's mate has been slowly poisoning herself to get out of her abusive relationship & gave Sydney a phone number for escaping her abusive mate & the people on the other end would relocate her somewhere & give her a new identity.

Orion, Sterling & Crux are the hyenas that were asked to retrieve her & protect her until she's able to be reunited with her cousin in Alaska. When Orion & his brothers go to get her they immediately realize that she's their mate, but they also know that they need to get her trust but also do it before she leaves. Eventually they do reveal their feelings for her & she for them; but the abusive males of her old pack come after her. This is a HEA story & that's why I'm not going to reveal anymore; other than to say that this was a very good book & that I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

When her mother did an unthinkable thing and gave her as a mate to another alpha clan, Sydney Nichols felt like her life couldn't get worse, but it did with an abusive mate. Sydney sees a glimpse of hope when she is given a number for woman in abusive relationship needing rescuing.

Were-hyena shifters Orion, Sterling, and Crux agreed to be the rescuers for Sydney, never expecting to meet their mate. Sydney knows that all three men are her mates and before fleeing her abusive mate injects her with a serum that causes her to go into heat, begging the three men for release. Orion, Sterling, and Crux agree to help but back off afterwards giving Sydney the time to heal and make a decision to be with them out of love.

Very good story. I thought this had a unique twist in the story and kept the reader anxious to read what would happen next. I can't wait for the next in the series.

2nd in the Hyena Heat series. MFMM menage. 3 1/2 stars ( rounded up to 4. The sexy Stone brothers find their mate. Heat level fairly high. Things move along pretty quick in the relationship department but that's to be expected in pnr and with weres especially. I'm a bit confused with some of the shape shifter society / world building. Some treat women/ mates great and others are assholes. There doesn't seem to be any middle of the road. My confusion is if the weres are just like ordinary people-, some are good some are bad or is it biology driven -the whole fated mates we can never betray you, you are our goddess type of thing. It seems to switch back and forth. So I think the world and rule building needs a little further explanation. However, I did enjoy it. Sex scenes were hot. Alpha lovable, lickable males x 3. If you like Alpha males who come in and save the day while delivering multiple orgasms give this book and the series a try.

After the awesome start of the first book, this one falls away short of how good of a writer/story-teller she really can be. First off there are so many errors it's laughable. Some sentences just blow your mind with the wording I even copied and pasted them in my editing program to see if there were incorrect, ok there, weren't, but there were considered weak and poorly constructed one of these is on the very first page. Second in book one they guys lived on 50 acres now they live on 100 acres what the hell gives... Three at the end of book one Alyssa was three months pregnant when the call came in to help the relo- group so you're telling me it took three more months to get the plan in place I don't think so nobody or a group would leave someone asking for help to escape abuse for three months.

Where to turn when you have no one
This may be the second story in the Hyena Heat series but it is still a self-contained story. This story got me thinking about all the shifter books I've read and that this is the first one to have an official agency to help batter and abused spouses. When the Alpha condones the abuse who can you go to? I love that in this series there is help but not everyone know about it. This story is of one such woman that is saved and it is now up to the three hyena brothers to help the woman which also happens to be there mate. And an Ex and her old Alpha that won’t give up on finding her. Well written and very enjoyable to read. I won a copy of this book from the author.

This is my first time reading anything like this. I'm more of a harlequin-millsandboon kinda girl! But I must confess I loved this one. So interesting with modern setting. The men live like normal folks, eat normal foods and just have normal day lives. I could easily relate with. I even love the fact that they all took turns in mating with her and sometimes at the same time! The sex scene was so freaking steamy! Damn! The only part that threw me off was when they had to turn to animals.. The author referred to it as shifting.. I was so scared o_O lol.. Cuz I read this ebook in the dark! Lol looking forward to reading more books by this author. Such a sweet read!

Liked characters but it just went too fast for me. I think the guys were sweet and not alpha enough for me. Not sure but I think that I felt some of the characterization came off lopsided and not all the way developed. Almost like a disconnect some times, maybe not gritty enough for me? Liked first one better as well as the other books I have read by this author. Will keep reading because despite my not liking everything it was still better than most stories about shifters and I was interested in seeing how they got the girl.

The set up for this book was introduced at the end of book 1, and wow are the wolves really coming across as the scum of the shifter community. This was a rather emotional book, since it told the story of some serious abuse. On the plus side, the male characters were really sweet and I didn't feel like they were going to "fix" the female by right away having sex with her. Although they do have sex right away, it's not their idea and there are exigent circumstances. A bit more world-building to be had, but still left with questions.

I read this selection before reading the first and as best as I can tell the story didn't suffer for this - although I'm curious about the story of Alyssa and her men now.

I've read two other books by R.E. Butler in the past couple of months and I have to say that I do enjoy her writing. She has the ability to paint a world that seems very full and vivid. Her stories of love are quite believable within that world as well.

Another great outing for Ms. Butler!

Syndey was sold by her mom to another wolf pack at 18 where she was abused & raped by her "mate" for 6 years. Then she was helped to escape by her alpha's "mate". She knows as soon as she meets the hyena shifters that are helping her relocate that they are her true mates, but she has to overcome her past.

After her old pack-mates find her and are killed, the females from her old pack are able to escape and move on toward healing and finding better lives as well.

I didn't enjoy the book quite as much as the first one but it was a good book ..
for me the problem was that I felt like the plot ended at 58% and what came after that was just intimate moments between the main characters .. and those moments are fine in fact most of the time I love them .. but here like I said after I reached 58% I just wanted to finish the book ..
so it was a fast reading and nothing super special or memorable!
hence the 3 stars ...

This is a heartbreaking story about a young girl whose mother cut off her future before it could start. She been abused mentally and physically by her supposed mate. But she making a run to get out of that situation. They are her rescuers and don't understand how a male can harm a female especially their mate. Now hopefully she has a chance at a safe peaceful life with people who care about her. Enjoy I did. This is a reread.

These guys are soooooo sweet that I probably would fall asleep before sex!
Come on dudes, be hot and sexy, all that muscle and not an ounce of Macho attitude!
I like this series and will continue following, I just wish the author would put a little more “rawr factor” to her male characters, not just body bulk!
