Ciaran is a confused husband. Harith has a very strong "vain self". And Samantha the witch is back to teach a lesson to these two very different married men. Will their spouses be able to handle the body switch? And what about Ciaran's children?

I’m curious as to why this book hasn’t been read more, it’s good. Is it because at first glance it doesn’t appear to be M/M or is it no one likes fantasy, I know that can’t be it so maybe it’s the cover? While the cover makes sense it doesn’t do it justice or anything to garner a second look and that’s a shame. Funny how we’re all visual people and it’s kind of sad too. How many really great books or even good books do we let pass us by because of the cover? I admit covers are what draws me to a book but I’m trying to not let that sway me anymore. Now would I put this in the M/M group? I still haven’t figured that out yet there is an M/M romance in it but there also is an M/F romance so maybe I’ll just call it a fantasy/romance?
The story is kind of a simple one, a husband and wife drift apart and he feels their marriage is over. Ciaran doesn’t want his family to be torn apart he loves his children so he proposes to Charlene they stay together but sleep in separate rooms, she isn’t happy with that situation and thinks he must be having an affair, I think he’s just confused. One of the husbands is having monogamy issues and doesn’t seem to have any problems indulging in some on the side quickies. Harith gets a twinge of the guilts so he tells Keith about his encounters but says he still loves him that they don’t mean anything. Keith thinks Harith just likes to be showered with attention and be the centre of it all the time, I think Harith is selfish.
Enter Samantha a witch who has been watching these two couples for a while in particular Ciaran and Harith she thinks these two men need to learn a lesson so she does a body swap. Harith wakes up to find he now has a wife and 2 children and Ciaran finds himself in a gay man’s body in Harith’s apartment, with his husband, oh dear. Lol
Watching these two try to figure out how they got into and how they were going to get out of this predicament and how they handled living in each other’s bodies was funny, sweet and kind of sad all at the same time. Sad when they realized they made a mistake about their spouses and their marriages and could lose something very precious to each of them.
I liked all the characters in this story, I thought the story was well written and has a good flow from start to end. I enjoyed this story and I think a lot of other people would too.
After seeing the new cover for this book I really wanted to add something to my review.
The new cover is great, it‘s a much better representation of what is in the book and I hope it gives this story some well deserved attention. I highly recommend this to readers that love stories that contain magic but also have a bit of romance and humor, you’ll find all of that and more in Ciaran and Harith. To readers that prefer to read only M/M don’t let the fact there is a husband and wife as one set of MC’s deter you from reading this and the same goes for readers that have never read a story that has a gay couple as MC’s. Ciaran, Harith and what they experience after the body swap are the focus but their partners do play an important role in this story. Body swapping stories are nothing new but this book has the added twist of the swap being between a gay man and straight man making their situation unique.
