I assume that if you are reading this review is because you have read the previous books, if not, ¿what are you waiting for? And most important: don't read further!! You can get some unwanted spoilers, because this is the third book in a series and must be read in order.

I was waiting for months for the release of this book and I have to say that it totally fulfilled my expectations. When I read Kasadya Hellhound Awakened, I must say that I was a bit reluctant to read another book about angels and demons. I love the subject, but I was dissapointed by another books. Has been a long time since I don't enjoy reading paranormal stories, so I just avoid them. At the beginning I thought that the plot was very original and well written, but I didn't like the main character. I thought that Kasadya was another silly teenage girl, irresponsible, more interested in all the boys around than in saving the world. But as I keep reading, I saw how this character, our heroine, grows into a mature young woman and it surprise me how much this book could be so gripping. By the end of the second book, Hellhound Twisted, I was dying to know what happened next.

As I say, Hellhound Born was just what I expected. I read the book in a few hours, once I started I could not stop. I needed to know for sure if Chax was Kasadya's charm (it was pretty obvious, but who knows...), and I needed to know more about him. In the previous books he is a mistery. The serious guy, an ancient soul, sometimes in the background but always present. You know that he is very fond of Kasadya, you feel that she is more important for him than she thinks, but he is always so cold... So this book is like a gift for Chax's fans, we get to know him better, to understand him, even there are a couple of moments where we could read his point of view (I really hope we can get more or this in the fourth book, because I loved it). And Kasadya once again show us that she is commited to accomplish her fate. She make some mistakes that had led the world to a war between angels and demons, but she will not rest until she correct her errors. We see a stronger woman, more decided than ever, well balanced, ready to save the world no matter how. So in this book you are gonna find: misteries resolved, hard decissions to be made, a war between heaven and hell, betrayals and new allies, and, above all of this, love.

This is not the last book of the series. We will have to wait for a fourth book, Hellhound Defined, but I am sure it will be worth the waiting. Of course there is a cliffhanger at the end of Hellhound Born, and maybe you could think that with a different turn in the last chapter, the series could be ended here, but for me that would be dissapointing. I really think that we need a fourth book because there is a lot more that can be written about Kasadya and Chax. We had to read three books to see them together, this just can't end yet. And Kasadya has not reach her highest potential as a Hellhound, she can achieve much more, and I want to read about it.

I love it!!!! Chax point of view was lovely!!!!

This book was feeling's twister (I almost cry in some parts), since the Kasadya's charm reveal (all we know who will be, but we never know what could happen) to a love and life sacrifice for the mankind.

Here Kasadya learnt the terrible consequences from taking a bad decission and thrusting in the wrong people and not in who have always been there for her.

Arch versus Arch (Yeah, I won't explain that, you should have to read it), a pregnancy, fights, betrayals, deaths, divine gifts, deals with demons, and romantic moments:

“Chax, I want this. If I am going to die, let me die with a memory that will make all other bad things irrelevant. Let me die knowing I was loved.”

The aspect I most love from that serie, is than has a little of everything but not so much of somethig; let me explain: has love and romantic moments but isn't cloying; has fights and blood but isn't morbid or sadist; has angels, archangels, demons and God's phrases but isn't religious. For a paranormal YA book I think is a excelent aspect.

The book has enough action to take you stuck to the next page, (I can't stop until finish it)I recommend it.

I can't wait for the 4th!!!

FAIRY THOUGHTS
Favorite Line “Do not fail me again, Raphael. To you she is just an object or course; to me, she is life”

“I have so many priceless memories to embrace at that final moment that it will soften the blow. I know my friends will continue the fight, and they will ensure victory.”

“We laughed and talked like a normal couple. No demons, no war.”

AMAZING!!! I don't have a way with words like this author does but, I'm trying to tell you how fabulous this book was!
Watching Kasadya go though this journey in my mind was heart breaking! She is an amazing character who you can't help but, just fall in love with and want to smack all at the same time! She is so brave and so hard headed all at the same time!
The way this author made this word come to live was unreal. While reading this I could close my eyes and see it all! Thank you for writing such an amazing story!
I will be counting down the days until the next book comes out. I hope they can be reunited because if anyone deserves a happily ever after its them!!

Karen Swart does it again! I swear her books get better and better! This book is the third in the series and is the best book yet! When I received this ARC, I was ecstatic! Seriously, I locked myself in my room for hours to read it. Can't wait for the last book to come out!

My Review *No Spoilers*

This book picks up directly after the second book. In this book Kasadya is ordered to unleash her hellhound born transformation to complete her divinity. The problem? No one knows if she can control the change and if she can't, she knows she has to be destroyed. The only person who has any chance of saving her is her charm. Too bad Kasadya has no idea who her charm is. But when that is revealed, she must surrender herself over to her charm, her destined mate, if she wants any chance of surviving the transformation. But when visions of an upcoming battle, where the Fallen and demons must face off, Kasadya has more things to worry about. The Fallen must stand together now more than ever if they have and hope of defeating their enemies. Finally, Kasadya destiny will be revealed, and she must ask herself: is she willing to sacrifice everything, for the ones she loves?

Love this book! Kasadya and Chax are, without a doubt, my favorite characters. Something cool about this book is that we get to see inside Chax's head in s few scenes. I loved his character more, if that is even possible, when I see the world through his eyes. Kasadya is awesome!! She can totally kick demon butt when she needs to. She knows she makes mistakes, but she decides to learn from them, rather than run away from them. Her mistakes make her a better person at the end because they show her what she needs to work on and fix. There's a lot of fighting and action in this book. I loved how descriptive the fighting scenes are because I can almost see picture the scenes like a movie in my head. This book is so good!! My favorite part was when Kasadya found out her destiny. I was as shocked as her when I found out what is was. I never saw that coming! This book made me laugh and it made me cry, a lot! I'm a huge fan of the author, and will always be! I cannot wait until the next book! Even if I'm sad that it will be the last book in the series. I recommend this book to everyone!

Some of my favorite quotes:

“I watched you from afar, my beautiful Kasadya, and wanted you to find me on your own,”

“If you frown so much, it’s going to become permanent. You don't want to look like an old man, now do you?” I teased him.
His mouth was hanging open, and then his head snapped backwards. “Fix her,” he said to someone.

"By the time we finished breakfast, Chax, Max, Nanini and I were blushing from head to toe. Chax even threw a cup at Caim. We stormed out, trying to escape the gang."

I was so excited to get this book, I love this series and the reason for that is Chax I love him to pieces, even if he's an overbearing a** most of the time. This time we actually get to be in Chax's head at some points in the story which I loved, "I watched you from afar, my beautiful Kasadya, and wanted you to fine me on your own." We do see some jealousy I think it is from Kasadya which means she does care for Chax, I mean like seriously though jealousy is an emotion used for those you care about right? "why is he being so nice to her? He wasn't gracious to me." Chax we see a different side of him in this book a more caring side and I enjoyed seeing that side even if it was just for a few times, "do you think I enjoy seeing her going through that? I was by her side every second trying to take her pain away. I saw what she had to endure." I didn't like the ending because there was a cliffhanger and even though I love this series I'm kinda hoping the next book ends it because my heart can only take so much abuse with the cliffhangers.

I don't think it's any secret to anyone at all that I love Karen Swart's Kasadya Hellhound series. They are just so much fun! I'm serious, I haven't had this much fun reading in a long time. The premise of the series is more unique that most "Angel" type books and the author throws in enough twists to keep me guessing, and on the edge of my seat. It's a wild ride, and the action literally never stops, and I got more Chax. A softer side to him, but still more of him!! Yeah.
Kasadya grows up a lot in this book even more so than the sequel, I found myself feeling pride at the grown up decisions she was making, even while I was mad and sad about them too.
I received an advanced reader's copy of this book from the author. It in no way changes my opinion of the book.

Holy Shit! Talk about an emotional roller coaster.

In this book, Kasadya, also known as Kas, is all over the place on the emotional front. Her whole life as she knew it has already began to rock in the last book, but unfortunately for her that was only the beginning. Who is ever really ready to hear that the fate of the world rest in their hands? OH SHIT, right?!?!? To add to the boiling pot of nerves Kas is about to meet her mate.

"Where is this charm? I looked beyond them, still nothing, Hell, is he late or something? Well there went his first impressions; he couldn't even be on time for my turning. Now, there was a way to impress a girl. Clearly we were off to a very bad start."

Even with the new added pressure, and the awkwardness of finding her charm, Kas must push through to destroy evil and save mankind. She will not be doing it alone though, she has the help of entire Exsilium, as well as, the humans on Earth.

"Why is everyone helping me after I messed up so badly?" I asked when we turned into the street. We will always stand together Kasadya; we all want to protect the world." He answered. I didn't have a reply handy, instead, I mulled over his words. True, we all have the same cause, but I am sure that not everyone had jumped at the occasion.

Her love life was finally taking toll too. Everyone around her seemed so in love. Would she ever have that with her charm?

" He walked over to me, and I prepared myself for a surprise move from him. What surprised me was his hand reaching for my face and cupping it. We looked at each other for a moment, and just when I thought things couldn't get any stranger, he leaned down and kissed me. His lips softly caressed mine, his scent enveloped me sending my own senses into a frenzy."

Back on the war stand-front, Kas realized that dreams she was having were more like visions. Finally, she realized in order to defeat evil she would have to study her dream and perfect her team. Will this be enough? Will the wall be breached and the devil himself let loose to wreak havoc over mankind? Most of all, who will be there for her mate if something were to happen to her?

Karen Swart just keeps blowing me away with each book. I can honestly say I cried like a damn baby. I couldn't get control, as much as Kas was having trouble controlling her emotions. Lucky for her she had her sexy mate!! Lucky Bitch!! Hellhound born is written from both Kasadya and Chax's point of view, mainly Kasadya's though. Just when you think this series cannot get any better Karen slaps you with more amazing action to take in!! Now I am just sad I have to wait for the next Kasadya book!! Must read!!!

"For as long as I have walked this earth, her touch was like a sun rising within me. There weren't long days anymore The days were too short with her, I begged them to never end."

I've said it before and I'll say it again! Be sure when you start Karen's Kasadya Series you start each book well before you plan to sleep at night! I don't mean that it will keep you up all night with night terrors, but it will keep you up all night turning the pages. As you can see I did none of the above when I read Awakened, Twisted or Born. I started them late and finished them all early.

Once again Born takes off where Twisted left off, so if you are wanting to start this awesome series, please be aware, read in order starting with Awakened. You will grow with Kas, fall in love with Chax (eventually - at first you might want to strangle him like I did) and become a Hellhound Addict. Born takes you places you can only imagine. I cannot begin to go into detail with all the action or the emotional ride it took me on. I flipped through the pages, sometimes wanting to sleep to no avail, other times wanting to scream - and so I did...

I highly doubt Defined (Kasadya #4) will manage to reach my Kindle fast enough. I'm dying to know what happens next!

Kasadya: Hellhound Born
Kasadya Series #3

This series just keeps getting better and better and I can’t wait to see how it’s going to end. Kasadya just can’t seem to stay away from trouble, and can always be found right in the middle of it. Chax really stepped up in this book, and has turned into quite the guy to fall for. All the other characters were more in the background this time, but are there when needed and not to be forgotten. From start to finish, this book was such an emotional roller coaster with plenty of action, adventure, love and loss that it kept me turning page after page well into the night. I laughed, cried and shouted at parts, but that just shows how great the writing is and how drawn in you get. Then the ending, wow, the author really knows how to keep us gripped and the next book really can’t come quick enough.

I received an e-copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Each book ends perfectly from the last, so there's no confusion as to what's going on. The main character in this story is Kasadya, Kas for short. Kas still has not found her mate. In this book she will found the one to take her from Hellbound Born to Kas again. Kasadya has grown up since the first book. I love how she protrays herself. Strong, independent and stubborn. Trying to be helpful, but trouble always finds her. Kas and her friends are preparing for battle with the demons. Each defeat Kas gets stronger. Kas has dreams almost every night showing the lost she will endure at the end. Determined to not let fate have it's way. Kas knows what she has to do. At the end she risks her life to keep her family and friends safe. This was the best book by far in the series. I can hardly what till I get to read book 4!

OMG!! It just keep getting better mad better. It is a non stop chain of reactions, actions and now, finally love and passion. I wished we had more of Chax POV, he is so much more than what I expected. Which is saying, a lot!!! As for Kas, she is still as reckless and stubborn but she learns to lean on others and keep becoming more and more powerful. Now I hope the next book is the final one, I don t think I can t take much more.

Warning this may contain spoilers!

The moment has come, the moment when a monster will be born. But will he be able to reach her in time to save her? Is the one inside the monster stronger then the monster itself? There is only one way, and it wasn’t going to be pretty.

Kasadya’s world is thrown into turmoil, her charm revealed she has no choice but place her life in his hands and pray she walks out alive. But her world was about to take another turn for the worst. In a race against time, she tries to save everyone from the impending doom waiting all of them. But when she finally finds the answer to save them, she has to sacrifice everything the held dear.

Amazing! I can’t even begin to tell you guys what a freaking adventure Born was. Karen does it again, and in my opinion even better. This time around we get to see Kas and her charm, and how they learn to accept each other. Yes, I did squeal when he was revealed and did jump into the air and yelled, Hell yeah! Kasadya definitively top my top ten list for heroines in the paranormal world. I don’t think after Born and what I think is going to happen in Defined that another paranormal female can beat her. In my eyes she is the ultimate female warrior.

Kas was just amazing in Born, finally we see the woman she was meant to be. In Born I was reminded of her nature to protect others. And she does this very well. Yes, the end nearly broke me and I did sniff a few unwanted tears that suddenly appeared out of nowhere. But I was saved with a promise of another hell of a ride to come. I can’t wait for Defined!

The action scenes were just as epic as always, and I could picture everything Karen wanted us to see. I loved to see Kasadya growing closure to her charm and really start being a woman and not just a warrior. I was blown away with her charm however. It was such a treat to finally see a side of him we have been getting only glimpses of. He was the perfect match in my eyes. I can’t wait to learn more of him, because I know we just got a tease of who he really is.

Karen’s writing style was awesome like always. Karen is so staying top of my list of favorite authors as well. A well deserved 5 stars, and please write fast I am dying over here!

Quote from the book: “I want to thank you... for being there for me. For searching for me when I went missing. For enduring all of my crap. I am sorry I messed up so many times. But not this time, this I promise. But most of all, thank you for loving me.” Even my mental voice broke down on the last part.

3.5. Almost a 4, so I rounded up. Although I think the average reviews are still higher than they should be, this was easily the best of the three books. There were still lots of writing errors, but the story was really compelling.

Plot:
In order to be able to battle the evil that is coming her way, Kas must become born. In doing so, she has become more reliant on her charm (who is confirmed within the first couple of pages). As she navigates the awkwardness of this new partnership, while simultaneously noticing that everyone around her has entered into their own relationships, she begins to have visions about the final battle and the role she must play for the fallen to be successful.

Characters:
Kasadya was actually completely different in this book, and for the first time, I really liked her. Her determination to do whatever she can to keep the fallen safe is stronger than ever, but this time, she doesn’t rely on snarkiness and criticism. Instead, she actually becomes more thoughtful, understanding and nurturing. We truly get to know my sweet, misunderstood Chax DeLuca (he narrates a couple of times throughout the book), and we learn more about his motivation for acting the way he did. Truly heart-wrenching! All of the supporting characters (minus Ryan) are still around, and everyone has gotten much closer in their efforts to prevail against evil. There is one new character, a younger hellhound, who brings on Kas’ gift. It’s also interesting to see how everyone else’s gifts and talents come into play.

Writing:
There were still a TON of errors, but this book was so much more heartfelt than the others, they were easier (not easy, just easier) to overlook this time.

The Bottom Line:
I can’t get over how sweet this one was. The characters have become more likable, the relationships have become more interesting, the emotions are amped up quite a bit, and we as readers have more at stake in this one. The books have gotten better as the series progressed, so if that pattern continues, we’re in for a real treat when the fourth book comes out next year. While this one has a cliffhanger, the end of the book doesn’t stop mid-action like the others.

*I received this book (as an ARC) via the Author in exchange for an Honest Review*

This third installment of the Kasadya series, it definitely more powerful than the previous two. Picking up from the exact place where Hellhound Twisted ended, emotions run rampant as Chax forces Kasadya to go Born. This book has so many twists and turns the readers won't be able to put it down. There are twists of elation, a few of anger that the reader will wish they were Fallen to help out, and more than one that will break the reader's heart.
There were a few errors here and there, but my copy is an ARC so I'm sure they were dealt with before publication.
As always, Karen has flared my love of her beloved Hellhound and the trials she goes through in her amazing life. And after how this one ends with yet another nail biting cliff hanger, I think I may go insane waiting on book 4.
I give this book 5 of 5 paws

Karen, I would first like to offer a profound thank you for including me in your dedication. I am absolutely taken aback by this honor as it is a complete surprise and unexpected. Thank you!

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

I am absolutely in love with the characters that we have met along this most thrilling ride. The Kasadya Hellhound series is easily one of the best that I have ever read… and I’ve read A LOT of books. Let me flesh this out for you a little more.

KASADYA HELLHOUND IS A MUST READ SERIES!
IT IS EASILY ONE OF MY TOP PICKS FOR 2013!

One of the things that I love about this series is that each book picks up right where the last one left off. Even though there have been large gaps in time between each of Karen’s novels that I have read…. and a number of other books read as well… I always feel as though I am coming home to a familiar friend and settle right back into the storyline. That is evidence of a great writer and storyteller!

As I sit here and think about the book that I just finished reading, literally just finished, the only words that spring to mind are HOLY HELL! I think that pretty much sums up the entire story; what an emotional roller coaster.

Please note, I receive a complimentary copy of Karen Swart's eBook in exchange for an unbiased review.

Just keeps getting better! I am so grateful that I purchased the complete collection! I don't think I could have waited for the 3rd book to come out! The only other thing I could wish for is maybe pictures of the characters :) I don't think my mind is doing them all justice. Kasadya continues to let her emotions rule her in this book, and boy oh boy can I relate with that! Letting the heat of the moment drive you only to regret your choices later! This book was so intense! So many intense things happening that had me flying through the pages. So much loss and heartbreak, and a little betrayal. I also LOVE how from one book to the next literally picks up exactly where the last book left off! Fantastic series and I have already started book 3!

I am in awe! It's very rare that an author has enough talent to make you emote to a character as much as I did to Kasadya. I felt everything right along with her, from heart wrenching betrays, to the peace of knowing that your loved ones will live. Admittedly, I wanted to strangle her once or twice, but i can't think of a good book where the character doesn't draw you into the story to that extent. As Kasadya becomes more of a kick as than ever, I couldn't put down the book! Everything from the writing style and plot, down to the characters was flawless! This has by far been one of my favorite series.

Wow! What a ride! I am really loving how each of the books in this series keep getting better. Not only was this one adventure and action filled, but we really got to see how Kasadya has been growing up and becoming the woman she was meant to be. Yes, she still makes some really dumb choices, but don't we all. I also adored watching as her relationships grew deeper with her friends and Chax *swoon*. If you have not read the first books in this series, you will most likely be lost and not enjoy this one nearly as much, so I suggest starting with book one.

Wow! Where do I begin? This series kicks ass! The action starts on page one and there is no calm in the storm. When Kasadya unleashes her Hellhound Born, Hell had better look out. Just when you think Karen Swart has shown you all there is, she takes you to the bowls of Hell itself. Through Karen’s descriptive tones, I felt the heat, smelled the stench and tasted the sulfur. I devoured this installment of the Hellhound Series and if you are a fan of the series you will too.

2.5 stars. (spoiler alert.)

This series is just difficult for me. I wanted to love it , tried to enjoy it. From book one I knew that this story was a good. The plot itself I mean, is a good one. But the execution fell a hair short. The ultimate deal breaker for me are the characters.

Never have I wished the protagonist and her mate would just die so I could read the story from someone else's point of view. The plot was what kept me trudging through. Until now.

I spoiler alert •
I finally gave up around the 70% mark. When these two spent a day together and Chax blushes, they have "moments" and then he asks her to dance on the beach? Oh and then they have sex, and then complete the bond. Whatever. It's such bs. I hate forced life and that's what this is. They were not in love. He asked her after hesitating to say the words that would seal the bond between. Then such warmth flows from him to her and suddenly she's like. Oh my god. I freaking love him.

Nothing about their relationship rings true. And then he goes all bad dads warrior for the fourth book, storming the gates of hell??!! Ehat the hell ever. She was kidnapped and taken into hell before. Did the bastard care then? Nope. He saw her once from afar and decided she was with demons so evil and told the council. Yep. That's the kind of man I want. (Not)

Not that I can blame him for not liking her. I really can not stand this chick. She talks like a 13 yr old girl and says oh my soul so often I want to hurl. Then she's all cocky badass. Blah blah. Yes. This series plot was intriguing. Pathetic characters ruined it. And actually. I like Chax in the first two books. He's an ass. He's tough. Merciless. I like that. I get that and he needs to be to survive and make sure he's aprendos or whatever survive. But I just felt like the whole thing was ruined by the relationship between them changing. The one thing I can not fault kas for it her heart. She wants to help, wants to do everything she can to save the world. Literally. But she's horrible at it. A true warrior, a true wan even knows when it's time to call in the cavalry.

Among all of that(the relationship that never should've tried) there are editing mistakes that should've been caught by even an inexperienced editor. And the conversations between the fallen, most of the time they just seem weird. And quite a few times I had to re read a paragraph just tonight's out what the hell one of them meant. Not because it was overly complicated. I just didn't get how the replies to a person in the diction connected. Twice...it just didn't.

Overall, I'm disappointed. Mostly because this had so much potential to be great. I don't need to read book four. I can already tell how it will go and honestly, I don't care how it ends. I'm sure Chax and kas live happily ever after the vampire who doesn't drink blood(that was never spoken of ) and the hellhound. The vampire thing is annoying and didn't work here. Not one bit. A vampire drinks blood. How the hell is he not franking down? Ugh. I'm just ranting now. Sorry. Point is, this was a hit and miss for me. I'm still scratching my head at the ridiculousness of these people. Would not recommend.

This is an overall review for the series (4 books).

It's pretty good. It's easy to connect with characters and the plots interesting.

The world building is good too... It's just that almost all the world rules are extremely flexible, and some of them only get followed when it's not easier for the author to forget them. There are quite a few things that left me thinking 'wtf just happened... that shouldn't be possible', or 'that should be possible because they have already done something similar'. It can get a bit confusing and the continuity issues are irritating, along with small editing mistakes that seem to get more frequent as the books progress.

Also, without too many spoilers, Kas faces huge challenges in early books and grows up, but reverts to stroppy annoying oblivious teenager in the next one. Any growth she had made was lost and then some.

Overall I liked it, and will probably reread at some point, but I wish the author would have put a little more work into it before hitting publish.

Oh, and as an aside, the author makes it clear later in the series that the 4th book is the final in the series... but then at the end if the 4th goes 'surprise, this may be the final for this series, but I'm writing another series about the support characters in this series'. No big deal right? We all love a spin off. Well yes we do love a spin off... but the way she's done this one annoys me no end. We aren't just getting a spin off series about support characters who were interesting in this series, but characters who actively had their story started (at least for two of the upcoming books) in this series. So it's not just a hint and tickle the imagination, but a slap and drag you into the next series. So in effect, she's simply left another cliffhanger, which I hate, but have been able to forgive in the first series because the series is complete. Now we have a cliffhanger and wait from one series to the next... which (from this side of their release and read) don't really seem like a new series, but just more books/characters in the same series.

Review

I received this book from the author, Karen Swart, and from Paranormal Romance and Authors That Rock. Kasadya Hellhound Born is the third book of a four book series written about Kasadya. WARNING: If you have not read Kasadya Hellhound Awakened or Kasadya Hellhound Twisted then this review might contain spoilers, so read Kasadya Hellhound Awakened first and then Kasadya Hellhound Twisted and then come back to read this book.

This book is about Kasadya, and her travels and trials as a Fallen. The second book was action packed with Kasadya saving Kali from a Demon Prince again. Then Kasadya is trying to figure out how to get the Fallen to work with the half-Fallen created with some humans that were fighting Demons as well as working with some humans that also want to help fight the Demons. At the end of the second book Kasadya is trying to learn to live with some very horrible mistakes that she made while trying to save Kali’s life. The third books takes up right at the end of the second so there is no gaps or wandering what might have happened between the books. War is on the horizon and the Demons are going to be able to come to Earth if the Fallen don’t find a way to stop them.

This book was awesome! I finished the first two books really fast and just had to start this book immediately. I finished this book in just two days. The reader gets to learn even more about the characters and just really gets drawn into the story. I finished this book really fast as I had a really hard time putting it down. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes books about shape shifters or paranormal style characters. Also this is a great book for people who like books where good is fighting against evil.

I’m giving this book 5 fangs.

Oh my God, my heart...*Weeping. That ending, just......*Sobs. I cannot even begin to describe the absolute heartbreak that I am feeing right now. My heart wept for Kas and Chax in that final moment (those of you who read the book know what I'm talking about). The complete anguish of it all brought me to my knees, and yet I could not have possibly been more proud of Kasadya. She truly is a vision to behold.

Kas's first few thoughts in the beginning of the book seemed to me to be more of a prologue-type writing than the beginnings of the first chapter, but not complaining too much. Was a pretty wicked way to start.

After Kas's F-up at the end of the last book, I wasn't expecting her to get off the hook quite so easily as she did. Except for a few harsh comments from some people at the beginning, everyone seemed to just forget about Kas's part in the demons attaining the blood relics. Weird and kind of disconcerting, but again not complaining too much seeing as how things turned out.

Speaking of: Chax seems to have done a complete 180° with his attitude towards Kas from all of his previous encounters with her. Up until this book, he had been downright frosty towards her in an apparent effort to keep his distance and give her space to find herself. But in this book, we see a side of Chax we have only rarely and subtly seen before. We see a side of him that is caring, supportive, and wholeheartedly loving towards Kas. It is such a beautiful thing to behold and I shouted for joy with each of their special moments shared. I pray to God that they will find each other once again and finally find the HEA ending that they both so rightfully deserve.

Spoiler Alert! Do not read if you have not read the other books!

(First off it is very clear that this is going on my favorites shelf.)

Well, what a fantastic journey! In part 3 of this story we get to see a different version of Kas. Kas goes hell-hound born, and finds her charm. Chax makes the perfect charm for her, and their love is strong. Their love shows you just how important it is to have some kind of love in your life.
We see Kas grow into a powerful Arc Fallen, with this power she has an amazing gift that is shocking to all other fallen, yet at the same time it puts them in awe of her. Kas grows into an amazing, and selfless individual that proves how a good heart can save the world.

Favorite parts of the book:
Chax and Kas together, hell-hound born Kas, Kas becoming a powerful Female role, and inspiring as well.

There was not one thing that I did not like about this book! I loved this book 100%!

I received this book from the author and from Paranormal Romance and Authors That Rock. Hellhound Born by Karen Swart left me speechless and wanting more!!! In this book Kasadya is asked to let loose of her control in order to achieved something that no one has been granted with divinity and become the first arch fallen. In order to do this she needs to kill the demon princes in order to get their power to help her achieved this goal. By letting go of her control and going "born" she needs to find her "charm" which it would be the only one able to help her keep control. Now!!!! with this "charm" i was never expecting it to be who it was (you have to read to find out) but woa i loved it!!!!

I Loved loved loved this book

I don't often get teary eyed while reading a book but the ending had me needing a tissue or two. The Kas character may get on my nerves from time to time but she has heart in a fierce loyalty towards her loved ones. I finally saw growth and maturity from her. The biggest bonus was reading each book and seeing the moments when her love began to grow for the mate she never knew she had. I thoroughly enjoyed this book it was a sweet treat for a hopeless romantic like me.
