عن كتاباتها للطفل تقول ميشلين "تبهرني لغة الأطفال التي تعكس عالماً مميزاً وفكراً مختلفاً. وأحب أن أتواصل مع هذا العالم السحري بأن أكتب للأطفال. أتمنى أنني يوما ما سأكتب قصة تشكّل إلهاما للأجيال، قصة تحتفي بعالم البراءة والخيال وتخلدهما إلى الأبد، وأريدها أن تساعد الكبار على التواصل مع براءتهم المنسية بحيث يتمكنون من فهم أنفسهم وفهم أولادهم بطريقة أفضل.
أما كتاباتي للكبار فتعكس رقصة الحياة والموت وما بينهما من ألم وأمل وبسمة. إن الحياة حولي والتي أراها في وجوه الناس وتصرفاتهم وفي التفاصيل الصغيرة هو ما يشعل الإلهام في داخلي في كل لحظة من يومي."
Micheline Habib is a Lebanese writer and an author of Children’s books based in Abu Dhabi. She is also an educational advisor, a freelance journalist, translator and voiceover talent. Micheline is the author of the educational series for children in English “The Little Sounds Series” and the collection of short short stories for adults in Arabic “Because We Are Alive”.
Micheline says “I’m fascinated by the children’s language which reflects a special world and a different mind. I love to communicate with this magical world of children by writing for them. I hope one day I will be able to write a story that will be an inspiration for generations, a story that celebrates the world of innocence and imagination forever and helps adults connect with their forlorn innocence to be able to understand themselves and their children better”.
On the other hand, my writings for adults reflect the dance of life and death and the pain, hope and laughter in between. The life that is going on around me and which is translated in the people’s faces, behavior and the small details is what inspires me every moment of the day.

الكتاب عبارة عن مجموعة من القصص القصيرة جدا كتب معظمها بعناية شديدة وبلغة هادئة تحمل القارئ نحو أفكار القصص وأهدافها دون إستطراد في تفاصيل يمكن الإستغناء عنها.
راقني الكثير من الأفكار التي أردات أن توضحها الكاتبة من القصص و إستطاعت أن تقنعني بقدرة القصص القصيرة جدا علي إيصال معني ما طالما ما أردت ان توصله إلي القارئ يمكن إختازله في عدة سطور.
