Wicked's Way #3

Wicked Incarceration

Rate this book
Sometimes the only way for justice to prevail is to get a little Wicked…

Who knew that meant Wick Templeton would end up on the wrong side of the cell door and looking for trouble—the kind of trouble that lands inmates on the funny farm and turns their brains into jelly.

Now he’s calling in favors and using his prize weapons—his charm and subtle wit—to plant himself smack dab in the middle of the party. With help from his willing friends and not-so-willing acquaintances, he plans to rule the cellblock. Criminals, watch out. Wick's burning, and nobody better get in his way.

Caution: With Wick in jail anything can happen. A little mild violence and a whole lot of attitude never hurt anyone.

Wick is something else. Cocky, smart, intriguing.

When an investigation into a missing person leads him to a shady side deal occurring in a prison, Wick gets himself arrested just to find out who’s behind it because of course he does.

The bad guys never knew what hit them.

Wick’s quasi-nemesis Ned, is always keeping tabs, and when he comes around seeking more answers, their little interaction was oh so nice. Wick for sure keeps Ned on his toes, and there’s just a smidge of feels that neither wants to admit. It’s obvious their curiosity of each other will soon come to a head, and all their secrets will spill forth.

This was just a lot of fun all around, and I look forward to Wick and Ned’s next adventure!

Book three in the continuing saga of ex-cop and P.I. Wick Templeton and his ‘Will they? Won’t they?‘ relationship with the sexy special agent Ned Harris, who he manipulates and teases terribly every time he’s on a case. Poor long suffering Ned. ( Grins. )

Another brilliant addition to my favourite series Pulp Friction that in my opinion just seems to get better and better as it goes along. Love it!

Wick is snarky, annoying, in your face and full of it, but you cant help loving the guy.

” I’m gonna be out of here by eight in the morning tomorrow , Wednesday. In just over twenty our hours I’ll be sipping a caramel macchiato while playing Angry Birds. I don’t foresee me needing to call you again in that time.”

” But you need my help.”

” I ‘m quite fluent at playing Angry Birds. It’s all a matter of geometry when you aim at those cute little piggies.”

Haha! The man’s a walking one liner. Very witty.

In this instalment, he goes undercover in jail to investigate a scam involving prisoners and a mental institution and like all the others its fast paced, snappy and leaves you wanting more. Watch out for a hilarious encounter between Wick and a cocky prisoner who thinks he’s a big gun in the prison, so funny!.... Read rest of review at http://sidlove.wordpress.com/2013/05/...

Another Wick special. He's definitely growing on me, and poor Ned, what is he to do with how he's being treated?? This one was typically full of Wick's smartass replies and giggle out loud moments, and I wish these two would work out what they want..yes or no...Come on guys, it's quite simple really. 4 stars and

Well, here I go again praising the Pulp Friction group on another fantastic read. God, I love my assy, sassy Wick. I find him intriguing and lovable just because he is such a prick. This time Wick gets thrown in jail to solve the mystery of inmates suddenly winding up in a mental hospital. It's clever, hard hitting and an intense read. I always find myself asking "it's over, no it can't be!". Of course, my favorite antagonist, Ned makes his appearance. I can't wait till Ned and Wick completely hook up. I think it will be an earthquake felt around the world.

I give this a federal prison worth of stars.

Oh Wick you are such a snarky SOB. From the first story in the Pulp Friction series I have adored Wick. I really don't quite understand why he's snarky, insolent and puts up a cold hearted front which most people are intimidated and put off by. Except with his friends, a very small select group of men. His interactions with these men are where glimpses of the real Wick can be seen, but even with his friends he keeps himself distant and isolated, I want so much to see someone get past that cold, solid wall of protection he has wrapped himself in because I'm sure that underneath there is a man who burns scorchingly hot with unfulfilled passions and a heart that is in serious need of loving. Hopefully Wick will find his own happily ever after soon.

I honestly don’t know who couldn’t like Wick. He’s got attitude, charm, and a (no pun, of course) wicked sense of humor.

This is the third part of Ms. Fellows offering for Pulp Friction, the series she’s doing with her fellow writers Lee Brazil, Laura Harner, and Mr. Webb. Where the other authors have angst and drama, Ms. Fellows and Wick bring relief in the form of a character who can read other people like no one else. He’s got skills to get the job done, determination to see it through, and some friends who will help him along the way. Everyone, it seems, has connections to Mr. Wick Templeton.

This time around, Wick is helping a woman whose abusive boyfriend disappears. She’s been keeping tabs on the man, but when he is suddenly off the radar, Wick wants to know why. What he finds sure as hell wasn’t what he was expecting.

Of course the fact that Wick ends up in prison isn’t helping either. Certainly no one can solve this when they’re behind bars with people they helped put away, right? Wrong. Wick can. He can put someone away for life, but have enough leverage to force them to help him when he needs it.

When he faces one of the guys who is making trouble…well, let’s just say Wick has the situation well in hand and let it go at that. (Read the story, you’ll understand the reference.)

Wick also has a sexy thorn in his side. A man who dogs his every step, determined to ferret out Wick’s secrets while hiding his own. Ned pushes Wick’s buttons in a big way, but who the hell is he? And why is it that Wick, who has dirt on nearly everyone, can’t find out even basic information about Agent Fielding?

This series is best read together. There are references to characters that appear in the other stories and you’ll want to know them all. They’re each worth it.

OK, had to read this asap, because I am really invested in Wick and Ned - but only 4.5 stars b/c it's still too short!!! (but I'm grading this one up rather than down because it's really good!)

Wick gets himself incarcerated in jail in order to uncover what is happening to convicted men who end up like vegetables in a questionable hospital. He uses his charm, wit, and clever deductions (and connections), in order to find the links in the penal system which (unaccountably) lead to a sorry existance for anyone who falls foul of .....something. (OK, this is not really explained away, apart from the money angle, but, within the story, it's enough.)

Ned (whichever Agency he is working for) eventually finds Wick, and wants to know what is going on; so he arranges an 'interview'. And this is where it gets HOT!! *waves hand in front of very hot face*

I must admit that this 'blow job' scene is one of the hottest I have ever read! Both Wick and Ned are definitely invested (aka very attracted) in each other; and the by-play/repartee is awesome! Fine, Wick solves the mystery; Ned gets to take kudos for it (as usual ); and we now have a RELATIONSHIP! Yeah!! What more could I want?? (Apart from the next episode?)

Great fun; definitely want more; and CAN'T WAIT!!!!

I am, hands down, certifiably insane for Wick Templeton! I adore every single sarcastic, snarky, devious, manipulative word that comes out of his mouth!!

This latest installment has Wick in jail working to figure out why some inmates go to the infirmary and then just disappear. Wick is his usual self which means he's not usual at all. Ned makes an appearance......in more ways than one and their heat factor is still off the charts!

I want more Wick, please!

Wick gets himself put in jail to solve a case
This is yet another good story in this series. I love Wick's smart attitude and wit. I also like the hot romance between him and Ned, if you can call it a romance; but I am rooting for it. I love the ways Wick goes about solving his cases, and love his new helper and all the James Bond like devices. I can't wait to see which man he was talking to at the end.
If you like a good series with lots of twists and turns, private detectives, cool devices and some hot sex this is for you.

Okay, now we're getting there. After parts one and two, I was scratching my head. Now, after part three, I'm doing something between a smirk and a smile. I'm enjoying Wick, and I like Ned, too, and I definitely like the play going on between the two of them.

This is a snarky, slightly irreverent read. It's become somewhat addictive and loads of fun. Can't wait to start #4.

I laughed so hard at the situation and the dialogue. Wick deserves (and we fans need) more and longer stories of Wick. PLEASE!!!!! This story had an absurd premise that only Wick could carry off and make real. Love the closet scene with Wick.

Yes, I liked it. This series is growing on me, it feels as if these books get more complex. Not every question was answered, but overall I liked it very much.
