Borrowed Billionaire is 5 shorts that is supposed to be an erotica romance about a girl named Lexie. She is a very lusty young lady and doesn't apologize for her sexuality. Talk about getting turned on at the drop of a hat. I didn't expect much from this one and that is about what you get. I think part #2 is the best of the 5 stories. There are a few minor editing mistakes throughout the 5 stories. Don't expect to ever get much on character build. It is not there. There is a lot of sex, and some of it is slightly erotic. However, rating this on erotica, I would have to give it a 4.5 out of 10, 10 being the highest. It was more like what a teenager or sexually inexperienced person would consider erotic. Even the romance parts are lacking. So you never really get attached to the characters.
I would consider this more of a New Adult Romance. I think it would do much better in that category/genre.

4.5 Stars!!

Well let me just start this off by saying, HOLY SMUT FACTOR!!! There were things that took place in this series that I hadn’t really heard about before. (This is weird because of all the erotica books I have read!) But I will say that this is a complete must read if you enjoy erotica books.
We get to follow Lexie along the journey she takes with the mysterious Mr. Thorne. I do have to say though, the things that they do throughout the books were just amazingly steamy. I have to say when it comes to smutty books; I think these are some of my favorite ones because there is more to the story than just the smut.
This box set covers almost everything a girl could think of; dressing room sex that isn’t sex, the mysterious black out restaurant, and of course sex with the gardener. These books will add plenty of things to your fantasy checklist after reading about them!
I completely enjoyed this box set because it’s all the books in one easy to read set. You don’t have to worry about waiting for the next book to come out. I would completely recommend this to everyone who enjoys erotica books!

Ugh ;( All the 1st story is,is sex ,sex and more aaaas yeah SEX!!!!
If she's not having it w/a guy in person she's having it w/a guy on the phone and when it's not w/a guy,she's done no it to herself or fantasizing about it while she touches herself or just fantasizing about sex..... Seriously how anything else in her life gets done I DON'T KNOW!!!! Hey, there's nothing wrong w/a healthy sex life,but she seems to have to have sex soo often or ? I don't know but it's like Lexie gotta have it!! Even w/a strangers husband in a clothing stores dressing room,shrugs,I mean it's ok they have and an arrangement hubby can do whatever as long as a certain part of his anatomy goes untouched ( coz that's just for wifey ) and wifey can have sex ,just not w/other men ?!?!? WTF/WTH ?!?!? Right ? Wifey was just in next dressing room over and almost 1/2 hubby's age, soo why wasn't he in there w/her ? Instead of him w/Lexie who was playing personal shopping consultant and wifey w/the shop girl ?!?!? Heck even if you cut out 1/2 or most of the sex the story was confusing as Hell,Lexie is odd,Thorne is odd, the whole set up is odd... Throne doesn't seem to know he wants and kind feels like he's using her ( willingly but used all the same) and she's having sex w/him and a friend she has benefits w/ a strangers freaky husband and then continues to let Thorne make her feel used til the very end when she realizes her bestie w/benefits wants things she doesn't,does she finally decide to sort things out w/Thorne and see what having a smidge of self respect.... I like a romance w/a good sex life but I wanna work for it , I want a good story w/some sex,not lots and lots of sex w/a side of story, and then a story that doesn't even make sense 1/2 the time... There were times I wanted to feel for Lexie but not trying to judge but after the scene w/the husband ( arrangement or not) she just seemed too slutty for me,wants Thorne but CAN'T go w/out soo constantly goes back to F buddy ;( but later feels used by Thorne but 1st she gets is back in bed w/buddy... No,just NO!! I'm sick of the h's either being 21-26 year old virgins or ones like Lexie who can't keep their panties on ;( I want more h's who are least in their 30's who don't need love always for sex but aren't virgins but aren't nymphomaniacs either... Just could read anymore after that 1st story..... They say " the best things in life are free" ,yeah well NOT THIS!!! Off to delete....

Hot!!!

Funny characters and a weird story from the very beginning. I enjoy Mimi Strong's writing style very much. While I love Luthor and Lexi, it did seem to go on forever. Same sex, different location. I felt kinda sorry for Jacob at times too, but was very happy with the ending!

Great read. This book includes three series of books. The first series is called Borrowed Billionaire about a professional organizer named Lexie whom is hired be organize a house for a wealthy business owner named Luther Thorne. The second series is called Billionaire Novelist about a woman named Tori who is hired to be a typist for a billionaire Novelist Named Smith. The last book is called Peaches Monroe. This book is about a woman named Peaches who is a manager at a bookstore and falls for an Actor named Dalton. Peaches is a BBW and cannot understand why a gorgeous hunk of a man would want someone like her.

I give this book 3 stars because the last two book were five stars, the other three were 1 or 2 stars. The characters were unbelievable in the first three books and I keep losing interest in the story. If you get it for free go for it.

My rating for this book is more like 2.5 - I liked it enough to round up instead of down for GR's ratings. The end of the collection (the last 'book') is what saved this from being a 2. I like erotica, but I guess I'm finding myself in the camp of needing some actual story to really enjoy it. I need the story to engage my emotions otherwise it all feels so clinical to me. And not really until the end of this series did I feel my emotions start to engage. Prior to that, especially the first 2 books, it felt like random sex scenes in Lexie's life. HER emotions weren't engaged, she was just engaging in random masturbation and sex just because. Which is fine - I'm not judging. I promise. I'm just not built that way and apparently, I don't enjoy reading about it. It's kind of ironic because somewhere in the story Lexie talks about how she doesn't like porn (unless it's really really good porn) because she finds herself wondering about the real life of the people in the movie... and I found myself thinking the same thing about THIS book (and erotic in general, I think). Not that I was wondering about the author in real life, or the 'real life' of Lexie, but I found my mind wandering during the sex scenes because I just wasn't connecting to the scene or to Lexie - her emotions (and her partner's) didn't seem to be engaged, so everything kind felt ho-hum, even though the scenes themselves were pretty hot.

By the end, though, her emotions are engaging and the sex with Luthor feels like more and the book was redeemed for me because it became a romance and not just erotic. I think this was originally published as a serial - if I had started purchasing it that way, I would not have continued after the second set. The first set left you wondering a bit about how things would play out with Luthor but the second set felt purely random with no hint of Luthor and I probably wouldn't have cared enough to continue if I didn't have it right there on my Kindle.

yah.. mungkin emang di sono hal itu biasa ya, maksdnya Lexie beranggapan bahwa die dan Luthor itu ga punya ikatana apa2 kok, jadi sah2 aja toh..
meski kadang sama Jacob yg dibayangin Luthor (yiks!)

This is a compilation of five novellas which together make a complete novel.
1) The Walk-In: Lexie and her choice of actions turns my face beet red--no joke!! She's bold, daring, and does what she wants as she pleasures...I mean pleases! Wowza I can't wait to observe more!
2) Lexie Goes Shopping: Holy cow!! I'm speechless about how $#@$y Lexie is!! She'll go at it anywhere and nearly any male gets her worked up! Her $#@capades are interesting, that's for sure!
3) Return to Mr. Thorne: The "in the dark" dining can be a very sensual experience, which Lexie and Mr. Thorne proved ten-fold. I'm pulling for Lexie and Mr. Thorne but he left me feeling angry in this novella so hopefully he'll redeem himself. I shall continue on to find out.
4) Under the Sea: Things get hot and steamy in Indonesia for Lexie and Mr. Thorne. Mr. Thorne is still a mystery to me so hopefully we'll get more in this last novella about his motives.

I'm a huge fan of Mimi Strong's. I absolutely love her work. I haven't found a book of hers I haven't loved yet (I doubt I will either, just saying).
So I read the box set of this series and I'm glad I had them all together lol. I'm seriously impatient when it comes to series that don't end in the each book (hopefully that makes sense lol).
I loved Lex. She was strong and took control of her life. Yes she had moments where I wanted to smack her but it all spoke to the realness of the character.
Luther was swoon worthy and I loved him from almost the minute he entered (get your mind out of the gutter lol) the book. Though I have to admit his abrupt shut off at dinner pissed me of and I wanted to slap some sense into him.
I loved each of these books. They were funny cute and hot as hell. I would absolutely LOVE to see these books in Luther's POV. I'd love to see his thoughts throught their budding relationship. *hint hint wink wink Mimi Strong hahahaha* If you want some quick erotic reads with laughs and love and of course kink, then this series is a must read for you.

So I just finished one of Mimi Strong's series the Borrowed Billionaire. I am not a huge advocate of novellas because you are always left with cliffhangers, regardless of how good the story is...but give me the bundle to read and I am a happy camper. This series was about a women, Lexie who shares the responsibilities of an organizing business with her BFF. She heads over to her next job...a billionaire's estate to organize three rooms. She can also earn an extra cash bonus if she stays hidden from detection from the billionaire himself. Although the story wasted no time jumping into some steamy scenes, by the second and third book in the series, I had grown an attachment to the characters as their relationship evolved and matured. Would recommend to others who enjoy heart warming erotica -- but save yourself the frustration and get the whole set.

Under the sea- Another great read by Mimi Strong. Entertaining characters and story. This is the perfect size to read while you are on a limited amount of time to read.

Set it on fire- I loved this book. I was able to start and finish it while on my break. It has great characters and an entertaining story.

I loved this series, it is sexy, steamy, and hilarious. Lexie Ross, is strong, independent, and a sex addict. Luther Thorne is a sexy billionaire, that is afraid that women want him only for his money. Lexie is hired by Grace, an employee of Luther Thorne's, to get some stuff organized at his mansion, but seems like she had an ulterior motive. I loved the scene in the office, and the bedroom. My favorite, was the last book, when Lexie and Ross, finally learn to talk to one another instead of just jumping one another's bones. Loved the ending, and I loved Grace, she turned out to be ok. Also, I fell in love with Luther, who started off being kind of standoffish, but ending up being a great guy. This series is guaranteed to have you laughing and forgetting all your troubles.

This book is good. The scenes in this book are OMG!

Entertaining read...

I devoured this story in a day and love Mimi the author, her use of humour to draw the reader in. It took a bit to settle into the story, I wondered about Lexie the independent carefree heroine of this book series. I enjoyed Lexie's relationships with Luthor and Simon and the romance really kicked in about 70 percent into the book. Give this book a try you won't be disappointed. Laugh along with the story
and then enjoy the love and romance! I will be reading more Mimi Strong on my Kindle.

Super cute erotic romance.... Lexie is a professional organizer and is hired to organize the closets of a billionaire... and finds that the staff and he are eccentric. But we also find that Lexie has come into a sexual awakening of sorts and she's horny all the time. Cue a number of sexual fantasies and scenes, some of which are hotter than others, but all fun.

Character development was interesting, but it was a lot of telling, not showing. While I usually have issues with this, it worked here given the tempo of the story.

This was fun and HIGHLY erotic.

I enjoyed Ms. Strong's use of language in these stories, snappy and fresh. I also mostly enjoyed the sex scenes, which is most of it. The first few stories left me wondering if it would ever really get personal, and even by the end when truly personal stuff happened and the story felt complete, there was still this lingering sense of detachment from both main characters. It was fun, hot, and close enough to great that I'd recommend it.

This was awful. Novellas full of bad smut. I didn't like even one character. Lexie sleeps with everybody and then you're meant to believe a love story that isn't even there. Complete waste of money. I can handle full smut stories, bad plot... All I need is one interesting character. I searched but could not find one here. At least I know next time & I can warn other readers. Such a shame.

I just did not get it. I wanted to like it, but I just could not make myself to like any of the characters. The book most of all seems like a collection of randomly put together sections, and the journey from the beginning of the book to the end of the book to me does not make any sense.

I really enjoy Mimi's books, they are cheeky, but not in a crass way, they are always a refreshing read, really enjoyed this series read all five in one go, the last book was my fave, so lovely...Lexi & Luthor, sigh....
