Wolf Haven #3

Bray's Bounty

Rate this book
[Siren Classic Erotic Alternative Paranormal Romance, M/M, werewolves, HEA]

Sentry Bray Buchannan has known who his mate was for over six years. He had to watch as Lany was held prisoner by the Senate, unable to free his mate or even acknowledge the connection between the two of them. Now, if Bray can rescue Lany from the Sentries guarding him and reach Haven before they are caught, there might be a chance at freedom, a chance for the two of them to finally be mates.

Lany has waited forever for Bray to come for him. When he does, the fear of being caught is overshadowed by the simple touch of his mate’s hand. Lany would rather have an hour in the arms of his mate than a lifetime without him. And if they can’t reach Haven in time, he just might get his wish.

This third installment of the "Loup Garou" world of wolf shifters adds yet another hunted omega to the ranks of those who resist the Senate and its cruel Sentries. It's the story of Lany, a blind omega shifter, who has known his mate is Bray, one of the Sentries, for six years, yet they have been unable to claim each other for all that time. Now that bray has found information about a safe place for them to run to, they're ready to escape. It still doesn’t make their life easy, but at least they have a chance. IF they can make it. The suspense is very high throughout, and the obstacles they have to overcome are considerable.

Lany is blind from birth, but with the help of his enhanced shifter senses he manages quite well. Even in dangerous situations, he doesn’t become helpless. Despite his fear, he holds his head high and fights for himself and Bray, irrespective of his lack of visual perception. I couldn't wait to find out what special omega abilities he has, and I wasn't disappointed!

Bray is a big, tough Sentry, one of the best, but he falls apart for his mate. That combination of rough exterior and behavior and emotional vulnerability is very appealing. He tries his best to take care of Lany now that they're on the run, but he couldn’t have done it without his mate. The cooperation between them is beautiful to watch.

Like the other couples in this series, these two guys are meant for each other, but unlike the others, they have known for years and were kept apart by circumstances. Now that they're together, their love blooms into explosive-grade passion, and finding the refuge Bray has found out about becomes more urgent each day. With the right balance between action, passion, and a few more revelations about this series' omega world, I found it to be another very entertaining read.

If you like stories about werewolves who already trust and love each other but have never been able to consummate their relationship, if you enjoy books with male pregnancy and hardened warriors becoming doting lovers and fathers, and if you want to know how all the guys from the first two books are doing, you will probably like this novella as much as I did.

I Liked this book. My one complaint was that Bray and Lany had known eachother for 6 years prior to the books start. The mating was great but the very beginning of a relationship is always the best. .
Also Lany Love is a horrible pet name! I was so sick of it by midbook

Here in book three the author returned to what I so enjoyed in the first book. A good plot line, strong main characters and even intriguing secondary characters. Plus, it's more great brain candy to feed me!

You can't help but adore Lany. He might be an omega and blind, at that, but he's no pushover. He's got an inner core of strength that serves him well and you can see why Bray worships him. Bray is a reformed Sentry which means he's totally hot in that masculine bad boy dominant way. Yum!!

This story was great and I totally loved it! Keep 'em coming like this Ms Glenn. Please *smirk*

This book had more of an emotional connection then book 2 but it still lacked the plot details of book 1. I enjoyed the characters of this book alot but at the same time there was just so much information missing or glossed over that it was harder for me to stay interested.

oh, so we can get a detailed description of rabies, but not any notion whatsoever of how a man, even a werewolf man can get pregnant and give birth! a colourful book about a blind man

After reading the first two Wolf Haven books, I was excited to know that the third one by Ms Glenn was going to feature Bray as he was a bit of an enigma towards the end of the second book.

I loved the beginning of this book due to the twists and turns owing to the fact that both men have known for years that they were mates, although they could not be together yet. The pages of the book allow you to experience the torture they both were going through being unable to claim each other, but it also allows you to experience their joy when Bray was finally able to claim Lany. The words that Lany whispered to Bray, 'marking me, mate', can describe exactly how Bray devoured Lany.

Bray is a fierce and brave Loup-Garou, a Wolf Shifter, who will do anything to protect the man he loves, and although Lany is blind, he is a match to be reckoned with and will do anything for Bray.

This book is more than a romance. It is about two people that have spent over six year being unable to claim each other, fighting to finally be able to be together. Their fights to get back together each time they were separated were very emotional, but their reunions were magical and when they were finally safe with the other Omegas, I breathed a big sigh of relief.

The big questions on my lips though are - who is Omar, what are his powers, and how much fun will his book be with Dr Carmichael?

While we still see no fruitation of male pregnancy, this was different from the other two. First you've got an omega the Senate is 'keeping' for his powers and his mate (known about for six years!) is a Sentry. Constantly on the lookout to get them safely out of danger until an opportunity presents.

Omar's introduction to the storyline is intriguing..

Then add in that omega Lany is Blind.. interesting on how much he's able to accomplish in actuality.. like shooting at Sentries :)

I'm so glad that I found these books, I really loved every one so far. I'm hoping there is more to come and it doesn't finish with these three books, that would be a real shame. The characters are all great and believable as with the storyline's. I especially like how each book, story and characters are different from the previous and not like some books that after a few they all start sounding alike but not here.

An exciting read. I liked that even though Lany is blind he doesn't act all pitiful and protects his mate as much as he can. The nickname "Lany love" however was sickly sweet and annoying.

Bray has known who his mate was for 6 years, and now he had a chance to escape with is Land Love. And along the way, they pick up two other people who just might have the mate connection as well.
