“Kaz asked me a simple question and offered a way out. He said I could stay here and visit him on tour when ever I wanted but I am tired of feeling vacuous and useless so I said yes. I could use my photography skills and I’d been to plenty of concerts but never have I gone on tour with a band. The concerts are amazing but Scarlet Fever and Winter’s Regret are a formidable combination and just as in life as in art, nothing is ever what it appears to be. Even the most perfect paintings have slight imperfections and I have to discover them one by one…about Kaz, my lover and the man I have come to adore…”

Part two of Syd and Kaz’s exploration takes place in dual points of view and covers the North American leg of the Gods of Rock World Tour with Scarlet Fever and Winter’s Regret.

Kaz thought he knew what he was doing when he decided to enter into a relationship with Sydney but his underestimation of her might cost him everything including the self-control he has held on to so tight for many years.
Can he mold her into the woman he needs her to be or will she break him in the end?

Falling Into Us, is book 2 in the One More Night series trilogy and it takes place right where book 1, Falling Into Lust, leaves off.

In Falling Into Lust we meet Sydney and Kasper and we follow them through the first part of their relationship and as they fall into lust. This book, Falling Into Us is so much more.

Scarlet Fever, Kaz’s band, is on tour with Winter's Regret, their backup band. Sydney joins Kaz on the tour and as do all those connected with both rock bands, including Kaz's ex-wife, and also his first lover, Keren. At first when Syd meets these women they make her life somewhat difficult, and the scenes were a little catty, but as the story moves along the women start to form a friendship of sorts. Sydney starts to fall in love with Kaz, and it scares her, because she's not quite sure what Kaz's feeling are towards her. She gets some good advice from the other women, decides to just play it cool, and do her job, which is to take pictures of the band.

There are some good reasons why Kaz is having such a hard time admitting to Sydney that he loves her. The first, being that the break up with his first wife had taken such a toll on his heart that he never wants to marry again. Kaz has another reason too, but very few people know what had happen to him when he was younger, and it's a very dark secret that he's keeping. As these two grow closer, Sydney finally sees the love that Kaz has for her, even though he does not say it. However, she does come out and tell Kaz that she is falling in love with him. With time, Kaz finally begins to trust Sydney and he finally breaks down and tells her his deepest darkest secret.

This book also hits on some other very real topics like drug use, how it can control people and eventually change the way they act and perform, making this story REAL for me.

The concert scenes were really interesting and well done. How the groups lived their day to day lives, how they interacted with each other, the groupies, the parties and the drugs along with the road trips, and the stress of being on a tour, made it all VERY believable.

Of course the love scenes between Sydney and Kaz continued to be scorching hot throughout the book, just like they were in Falling Into Lust. This is where you can truly see the connection and love they both have for each other.

This book ends where the American part of their rock tour concludes. I think it was a good spot to end this book, and a great start for book 3, Falling Into Love, to pick up with them going overseas to continue the tour.

I very much enjoyed both of these books and am VERY glad that book 3, Falling Into Love, will be released sometime this month. I very much invested in these characters and this story, and I'm dying to know where this relationship goes and hoping they all get their happily ever after!!

I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys an erotic Rock n’ Roll romance.

For those of you who read my review of the first book of this trilogy, Falling Into Lust, you know I simply couldn't wait for more Kasper Gillian. Selene didn't fail to provide all the Kaz I need!
I started this trilogy not knowing what I was letting myself in for. Sometimes, when the material I am reading is erotic in nature, I can't connect with the characters all that well. But I found these characters to be 3-dimensional and easy to fall in love with. I forged a real connection with Syd and I fell head over heels for Kaz. Quite simply, Falling Into Lust was one of my favourite books of 2013 so far. Well Falling Into Us has gone and done it again. It's rocketed right to the top of my Most Favourite list.

Whether it's Selene's compelling writing, the characters or the setting, I just seem to love everything about this book. Plus, there's a character named Keren - yes, she's named after and modelled on me. No this doesn't make me bias towards this book, not in the slightest. When my character first appeared, Syd referred to me as "The Skank" - at which point I wanted to jump in and smack her upside her rich girl head.
I was honoured that Selene chose to use me in this book and I wasn't let down by the actions of my character. I may have been only a secondary character, but it was the way I got under Syd's skin because she found out I was Kaz's first love and the reason the band is named Scarlet Fever. I just thought these scenes were hilarious.

Falling Into Us takes us on the first leg of the bands tour and Syd is still unsure what this lifestyle is like. She may think she has an inkling but actually, she's in for a bit of a culture shock. But having said that, she handles the situation with as much class and decorum as she can muster and I have much respect for her character because of this.

Being on the road isn't something that all of us could handle, I know I couldn't. It's packed with gig after gig, travelling everywhere on a tour bus, but at least Kaz books them into some decent hotels when they have overnight stays, he doesn't make Syd sleep on the bus if he can help it. But the constant stream of gigs and after-parties must really be a drain on anybody.

It's not just the touring that Syd has to handle though. Kaz is worried about a certain band members drug usage - he takes coke and Oxycontin, this is not something Kaz is okay with and he has to determine whether or not to take him to one side and talk to him or to leave him to get on with it as long as it doesn't show when they are performing.

Then there's the fact that her former best friend isn't talking to her anymore. Faith won't take Syd's calls or have anything to do with her. Syd isn't sure what to do about it but she's glad she has another friend on the tour so that she's not completely alone. The fact is, Kaz and Scarlet Fever are there to perform and that means that there's times when Syd feels alone. Who wouldn't in her position?

There's also the fact that Kaz's ex-wife Damira decides to come on tour to make a documentary of it. With Damira being such a [bleep], Syd isn't sure how much more she can handle. Kaz hasn't told her he loves her and this makes it all the harder for her. She's falling in love with him and she thinnks that when the tour is over, he's just going to drop her.

I'm glad to say she underestimates the level of Kaz's feelings for her. He swore he wouldn't fall in love or get married again after Damira but Syd has worked her way under his skin and into his heart, something he was definitely not expecting to happen. It seems they both balance each other out and their personalities suit one another, compliment one another perfectly.

It's hard work for Syd because she's been on the road for months, she's having to put up with Damira's little digs as well as Faith ignoring her and it all gets to be a bit much. But even then, Syd's resolve is stronger than any I have experienced. Sometimes, she'll have a cry about things and be a bit emotional, other times she will just pull herself up by the bootstraps and get on with things.

It helps when her and Damira manage to call a shaky truce. At least that's one thing she has to worry less over. The band hire Syd to take photos of them and as Damira is making a documentary of it all, it means that the two of them have to work side by side more than they would like to. I actually gained more respect for Damira in this book than the previous one. She too comes from a broken background and although you don't learn much about it, you can tell it's what made her the woman she is today.

There are secrets being kept from Syd and there's explosive drama that occurs as a direct result. But one thing I can say about Syd is, you think she'll reazct one way to something and she goes and proves you wrong. Maybe she's not the spoilt little rich brat everyone takes her for. She grows with this tour. Not just with her sexual experiences with Kaz, but as a person. She gains more depth. It's great to see her grow and evolve.

There's a lot of drama in this book, but there's also a lot of sex and rock and roll. It's all part of being with a guy who's band is famous and though Syd didn't know what she was letting herself in for in the beginning, she actually handles things way better than I would have done given the circumstances.

Selene Chardou's writing is like a breath of fresh air. She pours her heart and soul into each book and you can tell that there are scenes where if I cried reading them, then more likely than not, she cried whilst writing them.
I fell hook, line and sinker into Falling Into Us and read it in two sittings. I would have read it in one but I started it too late in the night and had to go to bed. I can't wait for Falling Into Love and I really hope that Kaz finally admits to Syd that he is in love with her. Reading his story, you understand why he keeps his guard up - but you also know that he knows he will push Syd away if he keeps trying to hold her at arms length.

I have chosen to award this book 5 wings because it has the total package. It has real, believable characters. Then there's the fact that yes, there's a lot of steamy sex scenes, but it also has a great story arc too. Selene pushes the characters to grow and to get underneath your skin. I defy anyone to read this book and not get absolutely lost in the pages, and fall head over heels for the characters. They aren't just caricatures, these are more like real people you would expect to see in your day-to-day life.

If you want a book that is a fresh story idea, plus sex and really sexy characters then this is the book for you.
Don't forget to purchase a copy of the first book, Falling Into Lust. Then don;t forget that Falling Into Love is due out this month!

I look forward to the final book in this trilogy, but also to reading many more books by Selene Chardou. She has fast become one of my favourite authors because she thinks outside the box rather than being confined to restraints.

Thank you Selene for the eARC of this amazing book. I can't begin to tell you how honoured I am to have had a starring role.
If you guys pick this book up, when you meet Keren Hughes, that's me!

First off, I want to say that I am so glad that Selene made this a full length novel!! There was so much information packed into this story that there was no way it could have been told properly and be shortened at all.

Now while reading the first book in the series, Falling into Lust, we met Syd and Kaz and we joined them on the first 6 weeks of their relationship. This book starts off with the beginning of the tour for Kaz’s band, Scarlet Fever. It was fun to read about all the prep work that went into the tour that Kaz and Syd had to go through.

One of my complaints about Falling into Lust was the fact that it seemed all about the labels. Well I do have to say I was really pleased that during this book, even though the designers were mentioned, it wasn’t as much as it was in the first book. I was really happy to read parts of the story and not be having to look up who Syd was wearing.

Now during the course of this book, in some ways Syd changed for the better. But on the other hand as well, it was slightly annoying her talking about how she changed from being a “spoiled rich girl” and the only change that was mentioned is that she switched from Italian designers. Kaz however changed a lot!! It was amazing to read about him growing more, and opening up in his relationship with Syd.

There were a few parts where I seriously jumped up and said “WTF” because some parts of this book caught me off guard. I do like how Selene added more to the different characters, not just the main characters but the secondary as well. I also liked how she included certain parts that most people would overlook; drug use in band members, the promiscuous sex that people take part of, and the arguments between the bands. When it came to Syd’s character though, I don’t really like how she befriended everyone, even people who she had a prior bad relationship with. It seemed too nicely wrapped up.

But that could change in the third book I suppose because there were parts in this book that shocked me from the first one! I can’t wait to read more in this series, it has sucked me in and the wait is going to kill me!!

This is an entertaining, easy to read 2nd volume. In this series I feel as though it is setting the ground work for some very explosive plot lines that will be out in the next series which is later this month! So for all of you out there whom are hating how long some authors take to release their books do not feel that way about Selene Chardou, she's quick to get her books together and released. Those dreadful long waits are not necessary when you are reading her books as she's a very talented author. One thing I hate is reading books where the characters are spineless and weak; I feel in this book there are 2 strong female characters; whom aren't as submissive as many books these days are having the women so weak. There is plenty of wild passionate scenes along with some intense subject matter. Knowing this author I'm eagerly anticipating the explosive conclusion to come in the final installment to this series. Or at least the next enstallment. I've connected with some of the characters and now i'm excited where this will lead us.

So I’m a little disappointed right now. I was so in love with this series after reading the first book and couldn’t wait to read the second, now uhh not so much. I just feel really let down. I don’t even know where to start. There were some good points. First of all I liked seeing how the relationship between Kaz and Syd continued to grow. And the sex scenes were still off the chart. So that’s good but I just feel like the other stuff in the story might have gotten a little in the way.
This book takes place during the American leg of their rock tour and as I’m sure that stressful and I’m sure that some rockers go crazy while on tour maybe the author was just trying to bring in a “realistic” feeling to the story. But I have to say I didn’t really care for all of the drug use and that it seemed like everyone but the 2 main characters were sleeping around with others and it was looked at as normal.

Like I said maybe it was just meant to be a sex drugs and rock n’ roll type book. Well it had tons of the first 2.

I guess I don't know how to feel about the book. I mean Kaz admits he cheated on his wife but he loved her and says that. But he still can't tell Sydney he loves her. He also admits he has had sex with men and has been attracted to them and he slept with her best friend in a so month affair that involved his best friend and band mate. His exes are showing up out of nowhere and have all joined the tour now. It's a bit crazy. I lost some respect for him in this book. He also slips back into his drug use at the end so I wonder if it will come into play in the next book. He does reveal his secrets in this book that help to understand him better but his sexual past definitely turned me off as the Alfa male in the book. You can see how much he cares for Syd but he also talked about having a 3 some with her and one of his band mates when she asked about it in curiosity. How can he share her if he loves her so much? Just, Idk, I will read the last one to see what happens but I just can't get past a couple issues with him.

This is an excellent continuance of the trilogy. I loved it just as much as the first book. The characters grew emotionally and I loved seeing them grow up.

Kaz oozes this charm that pulls you in and makes you want to fall in love with him. He isn’t perfect and I still had issues with him but I think that made him fill real. My main issue was that he claimed to still love his ex wife but I think he just needed an excuse to not to give Syd his heart.

Syd has grown leaps and bounds since the first book. She isn’t as shallow and vain as she was in the first book. I liked that she didn’t jump right back into being Faith’s friend because Faith was never my favorite person. She did annoy me with the always needing to be reassured that Kaz cared for her. I felt like he was trying to force her into loving him.

I liked seeing all the band members because I think they added intensity and some drama that keep you on the edge of your seat. It is a page turner and you will be hooked. I highly recommend this series!

The book continues straight on with the first leg of touring for Kaz Gillian and his band Scarlet Fever with Sydney accompanying him as his girlfriend...
As with all tours there is plenty of sex drugs and rock and roll. But unfortunately too much of the drugs means Kaz has to decide whether to confront his band member and support act too or ignore the situation.
Sydney is also having to deal with the fact that her best friend isn't speaking to her Faith, long hours where Kaz is working and a feeling of uselessness and loneliness. Gone is the vacuous girl who lived for labels and drinking and here is a woman wanting a purpose. She finds her purpose in photographing the band and forms a truce with Damira, Kaz's ex wife, and this makes the tour easier.
Still Kaz's reluctance to admit his feelings towards Sydney means she feels she'll be dropped by the wayside once the tour is over, but if she pushes him he'll shut down. Kaz has his reasons for not allowing his feelings to show, their deep, dark and dangerous and would Sydney stay with him once she knew more?

Just when you think you know someone they change. Some for better and some for worst. YOU HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK!!! Let me tell you this book had me on my toes. One thing I admire about Elle's writing is that she consistently delivers great books! The little details she includes while developing her characters and back story really set the tone for excellent reading! She gives you bread crumbs as you pick them up, you see bits of what molded her characters in to the people they are. This book if full of surprises, pain, heartache, Kink, steamy panty melting scenes, and love. This book made me feel things that the characters were feeling. It turns you on and has your eyes burning because you are so worried that when you blink you will loose that sexy moment that has you caught up. I honestly don't think I have yet to read a Bad book by Elle. I have been a fan of hers for a long time now, and will book stalk her till I go blind...then Audio books here I come!

I am not even going to start on the grammer errors, i am not the editor. But seriously this is the worst trilogy i have ever read. Not only is everyone screwing everyone, the author cant even keep her timeline straight. In one part of the book she mentions the secret he is keeping from her is he was suppose to screw her for a bet. And then in the next chapter he had already told her a long time ago.

Not to mention in one of the chapters a big deal is made about him only using weed, and then in the next chapter he is snorting it up and talking about his past problems with cocaine.

Unfortunately its like a train wreck you cant walk away from...onward to book three...

This book was so much better than the first because we got both POV's and I was so happy to finally be inside Kaz's head. He has definitely gone through some shit in his life and this author is not afraid to really lay some heavy shit on you. Sydney grew even more in this book and I'm really happy with how she handled herself in certain situations. She is quickly becoming a favorite of mine as far as female characters go.

“Love isn’t all hearts and flowers, chocolate and sweetness. Love hurts and it’s often mean and angry. It can bite and bleed.” - Kaz to Syd

Complicated to the core, but it feels GREAT. You can feel the pain and everything. Definitely a good read if you are living the life of ROCK AND ROLL. And sometimes it's not ALL ABOUT THE SEX AND THE DRUGS BABY.
