So if you haven't read book 1, Surrender then I would stop here and do not read further so that I don't spoil the story for you.

So yeah still loving this series!
Sorry to give anything away, but I'm not sure how to right a review without giving something away. So at the end of Book 1, Rafe gives Ari an ultimate, surrender to him and become his mistress or tell her mother that she had to sell the house and her flower shop while she was in the hospital in a coma. Rafe actually bought both and will give them back to Ari's mom without her ever knowing if Ari agrees to become his mistress.
Ari says yes of course and submits, but in doing so she's only saying yes so that she can give her mother a better life. So now Ari is at Rafe's beck and call basically for the agreed upon three months, but she doesn't make it easy on him. In this book we get to know more about Rafe's sisters, Rachel and Lia and Rafe's best friend Shane. Ari, Rachel and Lia decide to go to Las Vegas for a girls weekend, but Rafe and Shane decide to tag along as well. Las Vegas is where all the magic happens right! Shane and Lia have a side story as well and while Shane tries to fight his attaction to Lia, she is relentless and doesn't give up. We also get to see a softer side to Rafe. For once he decides to let go and just feel while with Ari.
Of course as Rafe starts to develop feelings for Ari he acts like an ass and pushes her away while telling himself it's for the best, that he's not looking for love.
I love Ari's strength at the end. She knows he's pushing her away, but she lays all of her cards out on the table. She can hold her head high no matter the outcome.
Rafe, man! You've screwed up! You've got A LOT of groveling to do in the next book. I hope Ari doesn't make it easy on you. I'll be watching!

No just no!
I have too much ranting to express in a written review. I lost nuff respect for her when she accepted his lunatic offer, then further still when she had a chance to leave him 4weeks in but stayed anyways. She got used to being pampered and...really? Come on would it have been so hard to explain to her mom that things didn't work out as planned, and part of taking care of her and paying hospital expenses involved the auctioning of some items. Her mom would have understood, better to rebuild with integrity than to sell yourself short.
If Rafe's threat had been more ominous like :
"Which employer would higher you after knowing you've been fired from my prestigious company? I will ruin you. No grants, no scholarships, no employment. Everywhere you turn, wherever you go the answer will always be no. I'm a very influential man, who happens to have a lot of money...money that talks. But the choice is yours, you can always chose to walk away...we'll see where your integrity takes you."
I would concede to that and say okay gurl your backed into a corner, he's got you, he's a rich vindictive bastard but you got no choice but to play along. But nooo it's the people in a house that makes it special, a house can burn down and be rebuilt, but if the fam burns with it, then what's the sense in having one. So come on man...there was no reason to go to him.
Why would you talk to the friends that not once but twice have mislead you, first almost getting you rapped, and now conspiring to set you up with a 'Hot Guy' so you can get laid? Why trust strangers no matter how nice they seem to go on a yatch? Why if your soo terrified of drinking do you continue to be a soliate? The first time you partied your mom almost died, the second you were nearly rapped and ended up having sex anyways, the thrid...come on does that make any sense? If someone is suffering through a trauma especially one associated with guilt are you that quick to get back in the scene that has already cost you so much?
I could care less about Shane and Lia, and I honestly think this is my last attempt with this series...but we'll see.
All I can say was this was too disappointing, formulaic and too unbelieveable. THE END...not even close lol w/e!

i was really disappointed with this book. i felt like it it was just a filler so the author could sell more books. nothing happened. and the secondary character story line was distracting and annoying, i found myself skipping over their parts. i wanted to read about rafe and ari but their story really didn't develop, and you were again left with a cliff hanger. i was really looking forward to this book after reading the first, but i dont think i will be continuing with this series

WOW in this amazing book “Submit” the powerful story of Raffaello (Rafe) Palazzo and Arianna (Ari) Lynn Harlow continues!!! Rafe propositioned Ari to become his mistress in Book one “Surrender.” This emotional relationship between this dynamic couple is sexy, tumultuous, frustrating, hot, emotional and so full of twists and turns, you are continually sitting at the edge of your seat! At the end of book one, Ari walks out on Rafe – the ending left me salivating for the next book. Well book two is certainly no disappointment!!! Their emotional relationship continues. Air has some huge decisions to contemplate. Will she give in to this powerful, handsome, dominating man and become his controlled mistress or will she fight for her own individuality to respect herself and follow the morals which were instilled in her by her loving mother? We will also meet Shane Grayson and Lia Palazzo, another dynamic couple whose story will add to this amazing series. DAMN SNOB! I COULD KICK HIM-THEN HUG HIM!!
Oh for God sakes sister... What are you doing to me?? This was just as first-rate, if not better than Surrender. Fanfuckingtastic!!! Unquestionably not a light hearted read, but not necessarily a uber dark read either. It's so hard to put it into words... Hmmmm, let's see... It felt to me like a smidgen of Pretty Woman meets a handful of 9 1/2 weeks! seriously folks, this book had a hold of my heart while it warped, squished, and maimed it... I was literally holding my chest through most of this one! I even shed some damn tears over this one... it's been a long time since that happened to me! Oh and the sex... I'm moist just thinking about it!! Bwahahaha! Hot, Angry sex!!! LOL!!
Rafe was a little less cynical in this installment, but was every bit the asshole he's so good at being. I mean whaddanasshole!!! I was taken aback at the thought of him (at the very least) just having thoughts that included more than just sex, control, and domination! It made him seem more human to me. I was in love with him before now, but this just solidified it for me! I loved when Rafe talking to his Father and the advise he was given, well, it just melted my heart... "Give her your heart, or set her free!" Ari was seriously getting my last damn nerve in this one! I wanted her to speak up so many times, but... zilch!! Nada!! Zero!! Zip!! UNTIL.... well, you'll see, but wowza, what a backbone that one has! Great supporting characters as usually. Shane is one of my new much loved "book boyfriends." Eager to see more of him in the upcoming third addition of this rocky roller coaster series! Now those wild and wacky sisters... jeeezussss!!! Lia was, well for lack of a better word... plain old stupid. Nearly getting date raped and then to go right out again and party like it never happened... WTH! Rachel, well, I can see she's going to be tough to tame also! Can't wait to see how they fare in the next one either!
The kindle version of this book is 335 pages long and I know that may appear like a long book, it really wasn't. It was fast paced and moved right along. I never once felt like skimming or putting it down, ONCE! It was almost graceful to read and never did feel like the writing was clunky or choppy. It flowed, well, except for that ending... gonna get you for that Melody!! You know you don't have to give us cliffhangers to make us come back... that's the exquisiteness of your writing... I'm coming back no matter what, because your writing is that freakin' excellent!!
I'm going to sit back and read, read, read until September 2013 when Seduced comes out! I think you'd better start a new Facebook page for this one... I'll be on it like white on rice sista!! 5 STARS!

Omg, Rafe is giving me whiplash from his moods. Ugh! He is struggling with himself. He realizes that he is falling for Ari, but doesn't want to continue the relationship fear that his heart will break again. It's too late for Ari tho, she has already realize that she has fallen.
As soon as he released Ari from their agreement, he realize his regret. In the epilogue, it was sweet to see that he kept update with her life even after 6 months.
Adore this series. Can't wait for the next book. I'm glad Ari walked away from him. He has to do a lot of groveling to win her back.

I'm sorry but I didn't enjoy it. I like the story with ari and rafe but there wasn't enough in the book. Compared to all the drama in book one this one had hardly anything. Too much with Shane and lia for me. They should have a separate book as it took the story away from main two. Didn't like ending either, 6 months was too long and too much could have happened. I can't wait for the 3rd book but hope its more based on them and doesn't keep jumping too far in the future. Sorry.

You have to read this book in order to understand this series since the stories continue throughout the book. So, yes, there are cliffhangers.

Wow this book was even better then the first the Depth of emotions and the hints into the characters vulnerability made me feel for them. I loved seeing Rafe start to find himself again and Ari being brave enough to let her true feelings be out in the open has given me a new respect for her character. The addition of Shane and Lias relationship is a huge bonus and I'm routing for both couples to find their happily every after. The story has a great flow and Melody Anne's descriptions of places and emotions is so real that you can't help but feel involved in the journey these characters take. I also love how she manages to write this story while never taking it further from her comfort zone in the romance genre, she manages to write sex scenes that anyone would be comfortable reading and yet are still very hot. I'm looking forward to book three and hope it gives answers to the many questions invading my mind.

Would have been a solid 5 Star rating, but inserting Shane and Lia's romance/drama got real aggravating, real quick. I usually don't mind secondary characters and their stories. For me, I think it would have worked better as a short story, Submit 2.5.

What the hell Rafe?! The reason for his distaste and disregard for women was becoming ridiculous. What happened to him was terrible, but to hold on to that hate even when he started having true feelings for Ari was just pathetic.
I was so proud of Ari in this book. It was fun reading the parts with her and Rafe's sisters. She actually got to act her age. ☺
Off to read the next portion of this amazing series!

Oh my goodness, seriously?! Sooo frustrating! And even more so that I have to wait for the 3rd book! I'm not sure if I liked Shane and Lia's added story, I'm way to intrigued about Ari and Rage's "relationship" to read about another. I'm really hoping I get my happily ever after soon!

Loved it! The relationship changes and grows between Ari and Rafe. It is exciting and tense at the same time. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

La fin de Surrender m'ayant laisser sur une excellente impression quant au personnage de Ari, je me suis donc précipitée sur la suite de l'histoire avec Submit.
Autant le dire tout de suite , dès les tous premiers paragraphes c'est la désillusion totale et absolument rien ne vient renverser la vapeur par la suite.
Ari est simplement TSTL et son attitude lunatique m'a énervé plus d'une fois. Son côté "victime" est tellement mal rendu par l'auteure qu'il m'est juste impossible de sympathiser avec elle.
Rafe, lui , n'a aucun charisme et son côté dominateur et d'un ridicule! Un conseil Melody Anne, laissez tomber le BDSM .
Les personnages secondaires sont tout aussi inintéressants.
Une fois encore, des scènes dramatiques qui ne sont pas exploitées jusqu'au bout et qui n'apportent rien à l'évolution de l'histoire et des personnages. Je m'en veut de mettre laisser avoir par ce tome alors que le premier m'avait déjà passablement ennuyé :( Mais une chose est sûre, la fin de ce tome-ci ne m'a en rien convaincu de chercher à connaitre la suite. Sans moi merci!

It starts back off where book 1 stopped and allows us to grow closer to each character. Rafe and Ari each come to an agreement but neither expected to fall for the other. The grow to care for one another and expect to have the other's presence around. We also get to see more of Shane and Lia's relationship evolve.
I could go on and on about this book, giving everyone detail after detail but the point is, I loved this book and it is an amazing read! This series has yet to let me down and I can't wait to continue to read the last two books and see what will happen for Rafe and Ari as well as the rest of the characters in the series. oh Melody Anne what a bad women you are! leaving the book the way you did! This second book in the surrender series has been a pleasure to read on a sunny Friday in May. Starting where the first book left off we follow Rafe & Ari and the beginning of Ari's so called submission. Along the way Rafe's sisters add another branch to the story which helps to balance the book. I don't want to spoil the story but if you are looking for a leading lady with a backbone this maybe the series for you. While there is sex in the book its more a romantic book that a fsog book. Would I recommend the series? A big Yes but be prepared to be left wanting more at the end. So please Melody Ann hurry up with confirming the release date of Suduced because I'm one reader who wants more.

Oh my God! The story continues and it is ...so good. Rafe and Ari's arrangement is starting to take an unexpected turn and now Rafe's best friend Shane and Rafe's sister Lia are making their own sizzling story come to life. These two couples are so intriguing you you don't want the story to end.
It's more than just the sizzling and erotic sex, and fun get-a-ways. It's about healing, soul searching and the courage to open up your heart and feel.
Ari does just that and finds her self worth in the process. Even though she proclaimed her love to Rafe, he is still hurt from his past and doesn't give her the response she hoped for, so she leaves him. He wants her back but doesn't know what to do.

Really enjoyed this book. I feel the pain in my chest. Rafe is such an alpha male! He just hasn't figured out women!! He can just say the things that just grates my NERVES!! I liked how Ari knows what she wants and doesn't back down when it comes down to letting her feelings be known. I hurt when these characters hurt and who can complain about that. I am routing for these two. I just really hope that she s dating the Prince when he finally realizes that he needs her. He needs a little bit of groveling and can we all agree The Prince just makes me swoon!! I guess we will have wait and see.

This series keeps getting better and better....as I said of the first book; I was so surprised that I fell in love with this story! It has every emotion the human soul can experience when it comes to falling in love and letyung down your defenses and it totally engulfs you in the story. Several times I found myself in tears if not close to it. I finished the first two books of this series in two days and just picked up the third...I can't wait to see where this journey ends up! I am so spell-bound I don't want the story to end...

Wow! Melody has once again captured our love for stories once again. This book was fantastic. Rafe & Air are beautiful and can't wait for them to get there shot together finally (well Rafe anyway) and for the other couples to have there own stories was lovely. Melody sure made us hate her her though at the end! *wink*wink not really I still LOVE her. I Just hate waiting. LOL

I really enjoyed this book. This book is part of a 3 book series, so you have to read Surrender, before you read this one. I normally leave a long review, or give a sample of the book, but I don’t won’t to spoil this book for you. I have been looking for a book that would compare to 50 shades of grey, and this is the closest that I have found. Hope you enjoy!

I enjoyed this book and applauded Ari for remaining strong and sticking to her principals. So glad she did not turn into a mindless bimbo who submitted to him just because he demanded it.
I even started to like Rafe even though he still has a ways to go to totally redeem himself.

this was another great book by Melody Anne. the continuing relationship of Ari and Rafe is realy holding my interest. Also, the relationship between Lia and Shane is starting to develop. I can hardly wait for the next edition.

This was another great book which would not let me put it down, I enjoyed it so much I couldn't wait to preorder Seduced. I am not one to give spoilers so I would suggest that you read this series it will not disappoint you at all.

With how Ari puts herself out there in the end.. really praying for a good ending in the next book.. excited to read book 3. Rafe needs to get his crap together!!
