Very good book, easy to read with very good and interesting ideas about how to present in general and how to present yourself. I liked a lot the video examples and explanations the author put into the book. I really learned a lot about my own pitch, what to look for, and how to do it well.
I would definitely recommend it if you're looking to make your own pitch!

I liked the formula based approach which is described in this book. It pretty much lays out the foundation for a good pitch for you. There are few things which I am going to implement for sure from this book.

good book. a lot of common sense but worth a gander to glean some encouragement and some incite... hey you can't make anyone say yes but it's nice to know you put your best foot forward. don't be a robot. don't talk like a text book. captivate. be succinct. focus on value for the audience, etc... i liked the examples has near the end of the book on pitching to different types of businesses... i have had angel investors before and win find one you can work with -they are real angels. many ways for bigger companies to take over... i like the point he made about selling your people not your product. i am going to focus on doing that more often now. Thank you Mr Westfall. :)

Once upon a time, if someone wanted to pitch an idea they would corner the relevant person in the elevator. They would deliver a two-minute speech, as long as it would take from the bottom floor up. Today, we are no longer pitching ideas in an elevator, but the concept is much the same. Chris Westfall outlines his tips and tricks to delivering the perfect two-minute speech.

This book was informative and interactive. At the end of each section, there was a section for you to work on your own elevator pitch with each step. The fact that Westfall is highly experienced and successful in this area provides confidence in the information given. The New Elevator Pitch was easy to read and follow and quite relevant to the way society has evolved to a social media platform.
There is nothing wrong with the book, it just doesn’t wow you enough to warrant anymore than 4 stars.

My recommendation: Great book to help you develop a quick pitch.

Σίγουρα η κεντρική ιδέα είναι καλή και έχει μερικά διαμάντια. Αν μάλιστα κάνεις και τις ασκήσεις ειλικρινά έχεις καλές πιθανότητες πραγματικής βελτίωσης. Αισθάνομαι όμως ότι στην προσπάθεια προσέγγισης ευρύτερου κοινού κάπου χάνεται.

Για τον ίδιο σκοπό (αν και πιο χαλαρό κι όχι τόσο οργανωμένο) με κάλυψε σαφώς καλύτερα το Και λοιπόν; :Πώς να Επικοινωνείτε αυτό που έχει σημασία στο Ακροατήριό σας.

This is an excellent read for anyone who is interested in perfecting their persuasive abilities. The content is simple and the activities are both creative and helpful. I especially recommend it to salespeople and young professionals.
