I really wish Goodreads let us give partial stars. Technically, this was a 4.5-4.75 read for me but I enjoyed it enough to splurge with the full 5 stars. I've discovered that in some instances, anthologies are a bit "uneven" for me. I usually read one for a particular story by a particular author. In this case, it was Jo Goodman's "Nat Church and the Runaway Bride." More about it in a moment. Here are my thoughts on each novella, in the order they appeared in the book.
