This is another comic series but they do have an all-ages variant floating around. This could be used to relate very basic science concepts to children while giving them a medium of people more their own age (characters ranging from 5 to 11 years old). I wouldn't have them pull too much science knowledge from these though as it isn't the best representation.
This was alot better story than I initially thought that it would be. Looking at the cover, it comes across as the basic blah kids-are-superheroes story. But, it's so much more than that. It also deals with the females feeling left out and wanting to have a social life outside the family superhero team. And, another great superhero team shows up in one of the stories as well.
Power Pack by Marvel is a cute kid superhero comic. I really enjoyed it as a kid because it was one of the well written kid comics that I could read and enjoy. Now rereading it I find it a little young but that makes sense because it was not written for my age group. I recommend this for ages 7-11.
