Rate this book
"After all, I'd never seen a ghost. It never occurred to me to wonder if one had seen me."

Two women. One dress. Decades apart.

Emma meets the man of her dreams. Or so she thinks. She’s from the wrong side of the tracks, and he’s a member of society. After a whirlwind romance, their relationship suddenly changes for the worse, and Emma is left alone and broken. How far will Emma go to make her dreams come true?

After surviving a rough childhood, Amanda is grown up with a successful career and is happily engaged to the man of her dreams. When she unexpectedly inherits an ancestral home, Amanda’s life couldn’t get any better. But shortly after moving in, she discovers the house harbors a deadly secret.

Something Borrowed: A Haunted Novella by Angie Lee ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Two women. One dress. Decades apart.” 👰🏼‍♀️🔪

Without giving any spoilers, this haunted novella is based mainly around a woman that falls in love and gets hurt. The overall storyline kept me on my toes and I finished this book in a couple hours! The end had me wanting more though and I do feel like there were gaps between chapters due to it being an intended shorter read, but thats not a negative since the overall storyline was great and it was communicated as a novella from the start.

the book ties together from start to finish which I appreciate. I just wanted more of it and more of a backstory in some instances. The end definitely caught me off guard and had a twist!

Angie Lee is also the author or The Window and One Last Lie! All of them are available on Amazon ❤️📚check them out! Links are below.

Ghosts

Quick read if you believe in ghosts. Well written. Glad it went back to the beginning but never said if Amanda survived the loony bin.

Quick thrills and lots of chills! What a cozy ghost novella!
Engaged , Amanda and Jake move into Amanda’s family home, from a family she hardly even knows .

What lurks in this house, is Amanda going crazy? Amanda finds the dress off of her dreams, and it’s the PERFECT fit. Amanda is starting to wonder why Jake is suddenly so mean to her and if she even really wants to marry him.

If you like a quick read and ghost stories you need to read this book but you can’t borrow mine! :)

I really enjoyed this novella. I love a good ghost story and this was no exception. Well written and fast paced! I enjoyed the characters Amanda and Emma and the story line. I feel novella's aren't easy to write as the author has to cram so much of the story into a few chapters. With that being said Angela did a great job with making sure everything was tied up by the end. I recommend this book for anyone that wants a quick read and enjoys ghost stories!

Suspenseful Novella.

This was an intriguing ghost story that I thought was well done. The characters were interesting to follow. And I like how it jumped back and forth to give pieces of the mystery until we got the entire picture of why the ghost was acting the way she was. I really enjoyed following Emma and Amanda.
