Even though I didn't like the 3rd book in the series as much as I did the first 2 this is still an excellent series. Morgan is such a great storyteller!! The drama, suspense, spice and love she can draw you into, so you fall in love with these characters!! Give this series a try, you'll love it!!

What the heck is wrong with me that I've never read anything written by Morgan James before!! I loved this book so much and now I'm excited to go read her other work. This book had me drawn in from the first page and I couldn't put it down. It's a best friend to lovers story. Claire is a high school guidance counselor who's not interested in dating since the death of her boyfriend in a car accident. Gray is the chief of police and has been in love with Claire for 2 years now. One night while watching a movie they fall asleep cuddling on the couch. During the cuddling Claire has a "dream" about Gray and it forces her to realize she's attracted to Gray and she loves him. They start avoiding each other because neither one of them wants to slip and confess their feelings and ruin their friendship. But once someone starts harassing Claire all bets are off. The book is filled with love, steam, mystery and intrigue. Give it a read you won't be disappointed!

I absolutely loved this book it has everything! Emery is a waitress who's trying to save money to move out of her mom's house because she's uncomfortable around her mom's boyfriend. Drew is a detective who is Emery's best friend Izzy's brother and his current case is trying to find a serial rapist. Growing up around Drew Emery has always had a huge crush on him. While he doesn't even notice her that way. Izzy suggests to Emery that she stay with Drew so she can save money. She agrees but no one tells Drew she's moving in. This book is so great it has lots of steam, "sweetness😉", twists, jaw dropping moments, mystery and suspense. It is written at a wonderful pace and I couldn't put it down. The ending! 😍 at the same time 😱

I really don't want to write this review because Morgan James is one of my favorite authors but I didn't like this book as much as I was hoping. Aiden and Izzy are both great and they are wonderful together. The twist in the last act of the book 😱! But two things bugged me and I can't let them go. Everytime Aiden got angry he would see red with rage. Also the fact that no one called Gray and let him know what was going on. He's her brother and the chief of police he could have helped so much. Momma and Daddy's reaction to them being together 😆.
“What the f●☆k, Isabella?” I hissed. “You can't walk into a police station with a gun!”“I just did.” 😆
“You are everything.” 🥰
“From now on, you’re mine.”His fingers tightened a fraction as he leaned forward and pressed a kiss to my lips. “Only mine.” ❤
