A lot of useful information on nutrition but with one glaring problem (IMHO). The author is still stuck on the old USDA pyramid and believes that refined carbohydrates (pasta, rice, potatoes) are still the base of the pyramid. If you can ignore that, the rest of the information has its purpose

Very good introduction to nutrition. Helpful and informative. Easy to read and understand. Feels a little fat phobic, bu that's sort of to be expected.

This is outdated-I've had it for years-but a good resource. Was helpful to read during weight loss over the past two months. Gave me some good info! :)

I liked part 1 that dealt with basic nutrition, but the rest of the book had more information than I needed.

Good for reference, and some of it can be read for learning basic knowledge.
