The clock is ticking… and the Silencer is running out of time.
Evidence is piling up. Mistakes are being made. The Silencer is becoming unhinged, and he isn’t acting the same. After mourning the loss of a dear friend, Emma and the rest of her detectives come across a piece of evidence that could entirely ruin the Silencer. Now, all the cards are on the table. The Silencer wants to meet Emma…
But Harper has other plans.
While the team rushes to uncover the identity of the man who has caused them so much trouble, Emma finds herself face to face with a person she can only describe as the devil. But he isn’t a fool, and nobody fights harder than when they’re cornered.
Will this be the end for the Silencer, or does he have other plans?
This is the 6th and final book in an edge of your seat thrilling serial. Throughout the first five books we have Emma and Harper trying to catch the Silencer, but he always seemed one step ahead. With the loss of one of their friends, Emma and Harper are even more determined to hunt the Silencer down and put him away. But the Silencer seems to be obsessed with Emma and wants to meet her face to face. Will that happen? Will Emma put him away or will he escape to kill again? What is the Silencer's motivation? How and why did he pick his victims? As a series, the ending seemed to short after reading the first five, BUT as a serial, it works. I really enjoyed the page turning in each of the books that finally led to this ending. I received and ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.
This was again way too short. The ending felt rushed and disappointing. For 5 books the team have searched for the serial killer, The Silencer. The killer is revealed in this book and was a big disappointment for me, as was the ending. The overall story wasn't bad, just didn't like it broken up into 6 books that could each be read in 45 minutes or less. Due to the short writing, I don't feel the reader really got to know the characters enough to care about what happened to them. I prefer a complete novel and not one broken up.
I received an ARC copy of this book and this is my honest review.
Unhinged: a nail biting thriller (The Silencer book 6), my eighteenth read from author B.P Stevens. A 69-page thriller, concluding the series that I finished in under an hour. “I received a free Kindle copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to reading more from this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
A good ending to a great series. An excellent twist gave it some punch although I felt it was a little rushed. The characters are great and the story is well written but to me some of the dialogue was slightly stilted but overall an excellent, entertaining story. I received a complimentary copy from the Author and am leaving a honest voluntary review
The final book in the Silencer series; I thought the series was great. B.P. Stevens is a fantastic author!! We finally find out who the Silencer is: I never would have guessed. Loved the plot, great setting and strong intense interesting characters. Can't wait to see what's next from B.P. Stevens!!
The final instalment of the series closes the case satisfactorily. Some interesting developments and some unforeseen twists kept me engaged throughout.
The end is coming, there is evidence, mistakes have been made. An interesting 6 book series of who was the .silencer Interesting characters and good plots. Given arc for my voluntary review
