Knacks
Knacks is the story of two kids from opposite sides of a closed border. Avery was raised in the modern world – a world that has progressed into the future. Cass was born in the Great Lakes Wilderness Preserve – an area sealed off by the government, and supposedly uninhabited.
When their paths cross unexpectedly, the pair find that they must rely on each other to survive the dangers of the hidden society within the walls of the Preserve.
Survival depends on unexpected friendships, luck, and “knacks,” the strange powers and abilities developed only by those within the walls.
Meanwhile, the same abilities that aid the pair also attract the attention of a shadowy group that will go to any lengths to contain the true reason for the Preserve’s isolation all those years ago.
