This super brief chapter book is a lot of fun. The full color illustrations and relatable plot line will be appealing for a lot of young readers. In my area, where kids do a wax museum project, they'll connect with Imani's assignment to do a report on Harriet Tubman. Simple but strong.

A very early chapter book about a girl with magical hair abilities working on a school project and using her family's history to make it happen.
