I loved this book. It was a broader overview of teaching than I am used to reading but it was written in an extremely accessible and digestible way. All the ideas were conveyed clearly and efficiently, and the models for teaching are all given an even view, looking at the positives and then negatives to each approach. This was greatly helpful and I will keep it in mind when I begin teaching.
Not a lot of useful info. Maybe it was because I read this book during a grad class and already knew most of the stuff discussed in the book? I also didn't like the overly general descriptions of theories without any specific approaches or strategies of teaching. I was left in the end asking myself how to incorporate the ideas into my daily routine.
