Absolutely beautiful illustrations, especially when reproduced in color. (The black & white strips were unfortunately muddy.) The imagination of the stories is also outstanding, thoug a little repetitive, especially toward the start.

I read up through August 18, 1907 [page 100 in this edition] before I decided I'd had enough. Perhaps I'll return to it someday!
