An extremely well written book. Belynder’s use of research and real life client cases has provided me with a lot of confidence in her work/teachings. I especially liked the clear split of chapters by subject - I know I can come back to certain subjects whenever I wish rather than needing to read the whole book. Her chapters are defined by specific issues rather than a generalised approach to anxiety/other mental health topics.
From the moment I started reading this book, I felt a strong sense of empowerment. Belynder reminds us and gives the best case examples (including herself) to demonstrate how the power to build the life we most desire begins from with. Highly recommended read!
I will go back an refer to this book often. Each chapter is based on a particular anxiety trigger, so its easy to go directly to the section you need the most help with at the time. There are very helpful tools to incorporate into daily life to manage and relieve anxiety. The author also includes personal examples from her own life and from her carrier as a psychotherapist to show how the tools were used in each example. Overall, this is a good, helpful book, and I really enjoyed reading it.
