A good book if you want natal charts explained in more detail than a regular free website would give you, but also doesn't overload you with information. With that said, I wish it went in just a little bit deeper into astrology as a whole. The opening chapters were very fascinating, covering the history of astrology as well as the concept of "Pre-destination versus Free Will." I wish these were expanded upon more, but overall gave a solid high level of every aspect of astrology.

Wow, what an antagonistic book. Full of absolutes (ie, “this person cannot keep a promise”) and outdated gendering (the male will blah-blah-blah, the mother will always this-and-that). Small tidbits were helpful. Mostly just felt like an overly generalized roast of humanity and the most superficial of sun-sign astrology.

Giveaway Winner: Loved this astrology book because it was very modern and in laymen terms. I’ve read a lot of snooze fest astrology books but this one is straight forward. The kind of things you read to your girls for fun. And tells about the signs in relationships, partnerships and etc. everything you would want to know. Thankyou for letting me review this book. I even use it in conversation starters.

I think this is a good general guide to learn about astrology definitions and details. There are many books out there that are pretty similar. It’s not like this is the best or “complete” guide but it works.

It was interesting to learn definitions and basic outlines but overall it was contradicting and also very negative in my opinion.

Good follow up book to read after having my Natal Chart update meeting. A very basic introduction to astrology and the houses, planets, aspects, etc that make up the chart. Learned a lot with this review and plant to delve a little deeper into my natal chart influences as the year progresses.

Decent reference that helped me understand the basics of my natal chart. “Complete” is a stretch.

Thorough!

Takes you through astrology from beginning to end and easily decodes your chart. I like the verbiage used because it plainly said what is usually confusing for me.

Great starter book, but not one astrology book is complete and holds all the knowledge of astrology.

Ok, I've read a bunch of astrology books in my day and this is my most used, most torn, most worn book of them all. I'm sure it will be for the rest of my life. It's sitting next to my bed and pages are falling out now. It's accurate and detailed enough. Great stuff for beginners or the more advanced. I bought this book in the 90's and have been able to learn from it as I make new discoveries, throughout the years.
