The Tent

Rate this book
It is shocking stuff! I was not prepared for this challenge of "Giving it all up and just doing what came along naturally" It is life changing, and I am not the same person afterwards. When people travel - "What is it they are searching for or what is it they are running away from? Are they searching for a view or for an experience? Are they running from life or running from the wife?
And- what happened to all the gold and silver, where is it now?
Just asking.

Travel memoir that explores less is more philosophy

Not all who wander are lost and this seems true of the author who by bike and tent explores foreign lands.

The trip through South Africa is informative and entertaining.

Stephen has a dry sense of humour and I found myself chuckling at the say it like it is observations and opinions.
