Kareena Smith, leader of the underground telepaths of Earth, waged a secret war against the Tel Group and her government as long as she could remember. Until Tel captured her, her second in command, and one of their own, a defector. After months of captivity and several failed escape attempts, the three women are rescued by a group of Delroi warriors. There’s a price on her head and nothing left for her at home. Delroi offers sanctuary she can’t refuse.
As soon as she’s rescued, she’s pursued relentlessly by sexy clan chief, Roarr Idis. She might find the kind of ecstasy in his arms she’s only dreamed of, but he wants the one thing she will never give up.
Her freedom.
Delroi Prophecy takes place after Delroi Connection.
As a native of the South, is it any wonder Loribelle has a love of storytelling? She started writing seriously as a teenager and finished her first manuscript, a mystery, when she was nineteen. After a few bumps along the way and stints as an Army MP, a waitress, a book store manager, a student, and a wedding photographer, she turned to writing full time. Now she divides her time between a husband, three kids, writing, and a part‐time photography gig. She is also a member of Romance Writers of America and Passionate Ink.
A fun addition to the Delroi series. It has everything I love about the series: a strong, independent woman refusing to bow down to an alien mate, and a man who wants to dominate her without crushing her. Highly recommend!
1.5 stars It wasn't great. It wasn't even good, really. But it kept me interested enough to finish it. Hated the h and kinda pitied the H. Not much happening aside from the sex and the h being contrary. I assume the author intends to ramp things up prophecy-wise in the next books. But I'm not interested enough to bother with them.
Level 3 Meh: I finished reading -10 minutes ago and I've already forgotten most of it.
Could've been better, could've been worse. The writing was pretty choppy with quite a few awkward sentences. I found a lot of the plot hard to follow as we didn't get many details but it seemed like we were expected to know what was going on. I would've really liked Roarr and Kareena together but the writing was just not strong enough to convince me of any emotions they felt throughout the entire book, let alone their love for each other. Lots of exposition and summary, really just felt like I was reading about what happened, not actually experiencing it as it was happening. I picked this book up with the hopes that it'd be something simple I could lose myself in, but it definitely wasn't that. I was hoping the smut could save it as there were frequent scenes, but they only started somewhat spicy and ended at basically fade to black. Three stars because maybe I'm being too picky and I do applaud writers for writing, but I also wanted to be honest.
This is not a stand alone read, after the first chapter it became apparent that to really grasp what was going on with the plot. That made it hard to fallow what was happening and felt like with out reading the other sires those that had not were left in the wind. The book its self missed key point were back story was needed to explain plot points, a good example would be way they resourced the woman in the first point. Many characters were introduced but not how they were important and why they were even brought up since the didn't add to the story line.
The main characters were ok but it was hard to really like them because other then the lust and the occasional fight there was not much to them. I would have love to see more byplay and humor but we were left with them having a short fight with no real character development. I was hoping for more from this book and I may read the other sires to get a better handle on what was going on in this book.

First I should mention that I have not read any of the first series "Delroi Connection", so I'm unsure if this may have any bearing on my opinion over all. I did not dislike the main characters in this story but for some reason I was not really captivated by them either. I liked the story well enough but I was not enthralled with it. All in all it was just ok for me. A lot of the details of things like the rescue and later a fight scene, were just kind of basic and sketchy...no gore and violence...more glossed over instead.
Kareena and Roarr, Love this series Kareena Smith along with her friend Parker Reed and a Tel agent Zola Gray, were rescued by Assassins Janice Hawkins and Tel agent Sergi Trace, along with a team of Delroi Warriors. The three have been given sanctuary on Delroi, under Janice's friend Britt's husband/mate, Barak Trace. The three women have been taken into the care of Roarr Idis, Barak's best friend and close ally. Kareena can't deny her attraction to Roarr, he wants more than a fling. Kareena can't offer that. She wants freedom, though she really can't define what that means. She is afraid of commitment, afraid to trust and afraid of what she saw with Britt and Barak and Janet and Falkor. Roarr Clan is different then the others on Delroi. The Keep is home of the Goddess Cult, his mother their leader. The priestess are all warrior trained, and can be assassins, seers, healers, and artist as well. No males enter their temples with out their consent. Every male of his clan would die to protect them. No male of his clan would every claim his der'lan with out their consent. Their choice. He is struggling with Kareena's rejection. Slowly Roarr begins to break down Kareena's walls and she slowly begins to trust her feeling. His feeling for her. That he offers not the freedom that she thinks she wants but the freedom that she really needs. Fast paced and steamy military, alien invasion romance. Loved Roarr and Kareena.
This book was send to me for my honest review. The book started out with Roarr and the others to get people from Earth because they was looking for their mates. But the women that they rescue was not tell them the hold truth about them self. Now would be the time to Buy the book and it would be worth it. Will be waiting for the next book.

I secretly loved this book, I had it in my own personal reading list. Since I was waiting on books, I thought I would read it and post a review about it.
Kareena and Roarr, what can I say about these two character?
Roarr wants Kareena, and she will fight him every step of the way. But he won’t give up on her. This is a small book but it will drag and suck you into it. Before you know it, you’ll be at the end of the book. It was too short for me, I wanted more of these amazing characters. But I think the author does a great job and it was an adorable love story.
It is a part of a the Delroi Prophecy Series, and I would love to read more about this world if I get the chance.
What can I say, I am a sucker for aliens :-)
Short and sweet review, for a short and sweet book.
A very intriguing world far from earth, but with distinctly old-world tendencies. A world full of pure alpha males with the famous take-charge attitude that offers no quarter and takes no prisoners. Of course, no male dominated society would be complete without an overabundance of sexual energy. This series absolutely drips carnal lust on almost every page keeping the reader burning to flip to the next. Definitely, no disappoints in this first installment. :-)
I really enjoyed this book it was fantasy romance. I loved Roar the typical alpha male loving and protecting his "mate" Kareena. I can't wait to read book 2 and see if the prophecy is true.
Enjoyed the story and it was well-written. The characters were awesome and there were the characters from Delroi Connection; which was great to see how their life with mates have progress. This a fantastic and can't wait to read more?
This book was ok, but I was hoping for more. There was a lack of communication, honesty and hope in this story. The plot was good but the heroine was so fearful and dishonest. It took something away in this book for me. Average at best.
Very captivating. I was immediately drawn in to the story and felt a surprising depth to the characters. In a short story, the author managed to make it come alive quickly and left me wanting more. I'm definitely going to read the next book!
suggest read in order, starting with the delroi connection series...Re-read in may, 2017. Worth revisiting. Re-read again in 2020! Reread again in Jan, 2024. Still a great story.
Terrific. well written and an enjoyable continuation of the series. If you enjoy sci-fi romance then you will enjoy it. Looking forward to the next one.
The heroine was whiney and stuck on the the same thing over and over again. There were a lot of elements in the story that could have been developed but sadly weren't. If Kareena wasn't so annoying, this would have been an okay fluff book.
