Spur Of The Moment
Criminal defense attorney Hannah Bryans’ goal is simple. Ditch her unscrupulous ways and make a reputable name for herself…but, it seems, she can’t even do that right.
Relocating to Iowa, her luck seems to go from laughable to pathetic when Mr. Hunky-By-The-Book-Deputy-Unfriendly hauls her in over a minor traffic violation. It seems she just cannot catch a break, even when the case of a lifetime is dumped in her lap.
Acquiring details and familiarizing herself with the arresting officer is first on her agenda. The only problem, the man she needs to befriend is Deputy Mark Bowman—Mr. Hunky-By-The-Book-Deputy-Unfriendly himself. Hannah must somehow convince this man that her client (the kid that he arrested) is innocent. Relying on old tactics, she earns far more than just this deputy’s professional alliance.
Discovering evidence, which may expose the truth, threatens to blow the cover off an ongoing undercover FBI probe as well as makes Hannah a target. Someone does not want this case going to trial…but that’s not the only thing in jeopardy, Hannah’s heart is, when mundane small-town living ignites to sizzling with Deputy Mark Bowman as her appointed bodyguard.

What a fun and enticing read! Deena Nehring has you moving along with a very good story line for mystery and spicy romance and just when you think you have it figured out...surprise!! Betting you won't see this one coming! A great read which can be knocked out quickly and one you will likely repeat read until the next great works of this author comes out. Hoping it is real soon! She has got me hooked!

To put it simply Spur Of The Moment is an impressive debut novel!!! This writer has amazing talent & skillfully sucks you in as she tells a story that leaves you guessing and wanting more and more. Awesome plot, awesome book, all around well done. Looking forward to this author's next novel, that is for sure!

This is a LOL total hoot. Loved it! Deena has a way with words that keep you captivated. I didn't want it to end but it ended in a good way. I hope to read more from her.

September 23, 2013I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Although the plot was mostly predictable, I didn't care because I loved Hannah and mark so much.
