Pretty, naive, 21-year-old Anastasia Nabokov moved to the big city desperate to prove herself at her new internship with one of the giants of the banking industry. She's hoping this is the break she needs to really live the life she's always wanted.
But living out of a hotel, with no friends to speak of, she’s an easy target for her grumpy boss and the other male interns. Thing are not going as she had planned...
Luckily for her, she makes a new friend in the confident, sexy, and slightly older executive assistant to one of the junior partners.
And the adventurous Victoria is more than happy to show Anastasia the ropes - both at work and at play. It turns out, for Anastasia, the luscious Victoria is a good person to know - both professionally and personally.
Fans of Bella Andre, Rachel Gibson, and Kristan Higgins will love this quirky romance series with strong, independent woman and sexy alpha heroes.
Ana Vela is romantic at heart. Living in Miami with her husband, two sons, and a puppy, she finds time to sneak away at night and live out her fantasies by writing them all down and creating these stories for her faithful readers.
So, here's the thing. If I find a book when searching for "lesbian bdsm", I expect it to have, y'know, lesbians and bdsm in it. This book, at best, is "moderately naughty bisexuals", which on its own is fine but with the above keywords is annoying and sorta false advertising. I know keywords are a big thing with ebooks but they should at least be sorta on topic.
Additionally, at least in the edition of this I have, the story advertised only makes up about a third of the book's length. The rest is another office-themed naughty short, and some sort of werewolf erotica that I didn't read because it didn't interest me. So that was weird...
Anyway, the story itself is decent, nothing too original but it was refreshingly free of shame and that sort of thing for being of the "timid near-virgin has sexual escapades"-variety. The characters were fun and the sex scenes fairly hot, but hardly captivating enough for me to read more of the series. Would be 3 stars if not for the bad promo choices made.
This is like Fifty Shades of Grey meets literotica only without the charm of both
This is 43 pages of pure unadulterated smut. Sure there’s a paper thin plot but when I say it’s paper thin I’m talking about tissue paper as opposed to paper bag. I mean if you’re really Looking for smut as written for the male gaze, then this is absolutely for you.
As for me, I found this unintentionally hilarious. Whoever wrote this clearly had an obsession with fluid dynamics. There are more synonyms for fluid or gush in this then I think thesaurus dot com has on its website. And we’re not even going into the number of synonyms for breasts or female genitalia. Get out your bingo card guys and count them all.
It’s also a very clear cash grab to try to get you to buy the rest of the series. And if this were in Kindle unlimited I’d be reporting it in a heartbeat since the actual story itself cuts off at the 34% mark.
As it is I’m going to be kind and not give it the one star it deserves but rather two stars for thoroughly entertaining me even though it was not the entertainment intended.
Contains three stories: 4: Anastasia: Her First Position (Volume One) Basic introduction to Anastasis and her mentor, Victoria. 4: Holiday Delight Good introduction to Joanie and her boss, Anthony. Would likely make for a longer story. 5: Hunting Desire Great Story. Toriana takes matters into her one hands to solve a decades old problem with her werewolf hoard (a collection of five different werewolf packs)
I like the story...... absolutely hate the narrator!!!!!! Her tone made it seem like you were listening to the stereotypical dumb blonde..... even on the male dialogue and it was always a question..... get Cris Dukehart and our Graham Halstead!!!!! Or Sophia Eastlake, or Nicole Poole!!!!! This narrator was not a good choice!!!
I had a lot of hope for this book when I first got it. I will not be reading the rest of this series because it fell flat for me. Yes, it was your strong woman who helps Anastasia find her own in the business but that is all it was to me. The sex was far from steamy and it just fell flat. I just did not like anything about the book.
This book was very good, and was a major turn on. I like it because it's good for people who like both sexes, so you get some hot sex scenes with two females, and with a male and female. I never knew that descriptions could be so intoxicating.
