Reads almost like a journal. I love the time skips makes it go so much faster which is a nice change of pace from series that have “filler” books where nothing happens.
It’s not a masterpiece but was a book I’ve been looking forward to since I read the first 2. I kinda wish there was a video game where you here a tree like Aeon. Definitely worth the read
The endless growth, this series doesn't jump to max level which is refreshing . Slowly growing, I like how skills reflect need. This has always been present since book one, to gain winter resistance first there had to be a real loss. I cried really, I felt treetree should have been a little sadder but trees don't cry. And he did expressed his loss.so nothing to fault really.
Book 3 is very good! As TreeTree struggles to become stronger in levels. Ahhh the ending. Oh my heart. I can't say more beyond oh my heart. Spoilers you know. And where is book four? Ugh having to wait now for book 4. I will probably reread all 3 books before book 4 is supposed to be released. Loving the series.
Well I need to stock up on tissues again! By Aeon what a roller coaster. The third book is even better than the second. This series is like an avalanche its just building more momentum the further it goes!
I knew this was coming but it doesn’t change how it makes me feel. This book sees a lot of changes to Aeon, the Valthorns and Valtrian Order, and the Central Continent as whole. It’s really interesting to see the slow but amazingly fast changes Aeon creates and seeing his change in perspective and stance on politics. We also see more of that human to tree mentality shift and his battles to decide what he wants to be, what lines he is ok crossing. And lastly, WHY?! Ahhhh the ending gets me in the feels every time. 😭😭😭
Aeon has new heroes and challenges. He’s a demigod, controls a continent, and is targeted by the temples for heresy. But he grows learns and plans. Eventually he helps defeat the demon king and grows even stronger. A fun continuation. Periodic verb tense confusion but not on the scale of the last book. Please enjoy
But it needs another pass of edits. I noticed a lot of grammar and spelling mistakes, and a couple punctuation errors. Otherwise, a fantastic story with fun nods to RTS and turn-based strategy games.
And what a trip it has been! Certain character arcs are progressing wonderfully, while others are reaching very satisfying conclusions. Overall this is just going strong.
I enjoyed this a lot more than the second book. The pay-off was better than I expected and we got answers for some of the mysteries. I was hoping for the return of couple of side-characters from the first book - no sign of them yet, but hope they'll appear soon.
If you had ended the story at this book, I wouldn’t even be mad about it. I’ve always enjoyed this series but this book had me in the zone! There’s not many series I can read and say it’s over already, cause how fast I read it. Great ending too!
Omg I’m actually crying the ending is so so so so good like really read this from the start. This book and it’s series now sits at my top 5 book I have ever read in my life and has had a profound impact on me.
Great story but the author needs to start using the proper tense. I keep seeing past tense words used, would instead of will, and this doesn't hep me as a reader.
Great book and as the series progresses keeps on getting more and more intense. I can't wait to see what happens next for Aeon. Loved this series super interesting and kept me invested.
I have been speeding through these books since i found them. They are so good and well thought out. There are some grammatical errors here and there but nothing to bad
It’s more of the same , can’t really get invested in the plot or the characters but I still continue the series cause I like the progression aspect lol
No spoilers, but this volume ended with a big case of the feels. Recommended for anyone who enjoys reincarnation stories, but be warned it's a slow boil.
Four and a half personally, but halves aren't possible.
I absolutely loved this, and the way the story always speeds through time while remaining as a captivating storyline—I love it. Lausanne surprised and disappointed me. The churches are hilarious and hypocrites. If they didn't want to contend with others rising in power, they shouldn't isekai humans into extremely long lived creatures. The two previous heroes didn't make an appearance, and no notifications. I'm not sure what to think or feel about that. I like the painter, but I hope she finds a peaceful mental health soon. Losses are always sad, and at least one character that has been a main feature passes. I really cannot express how much I enjoyed this book and love this series.
Far better than book 2. Unfortunately the editing falls away about 85% of the way through and, until the last few chapters, doesn’t recover. Still a lot more effort was put into this one than the last two so I hope the quality continues to improve!
