I realized that a good part of readers don't like novels that tell the part of the story after the couple finally gets together. Well, I love it. The before, during and after.
It's good to see how couples live after going through difficult situations. After fighting so hard to be together. Not just what is told in less than half a chapter, as most of the epilogues are.
Of course, this book didn't have any major drama, other than what happened to Brandon, which led to him meeting Mason. Everything very smooth. Just the same drama that most omegaverse books have, the society that treats the Omegas as if they were nothing and inferior, and Alphas who are stupid, rude and often violent, trying to subjugate the Omegas.
"" Brandon, is fired from the accounting office where he worked, after working hard to show that he was capable and had the necessary skills to be promoted to the position he dreamed of. But his plans were thwarted because of his boss's prejudice and the boss's son-in-law's misrepresentation. After wallowing in what happened, he decides to go to an isolated house that his family owns, to rethink his life. He didn't count on being stuck in the middle of a snowstorm and having to venture out into the blizzard. When he almost loses hope of surviving, he finds Mason's house, who comes to his rescue. The two discover that they are predestined companions and everything becomes flowers and rainbows.""
""Mason is a sweet, big, fluffy Alpha. He bought his parents' house and recently moved into it. Despite having a stable career, working from home and being a good person, he doesn't believe he will find an Omega who loves him.
