Discover the magic of Goldilocks and the Three Bears in this petite edition of the classic fairytale, created especially for little readers with just a handful of words and bright, enchanting illustrations.
Enjoyed this book and series thoroughly. There were not many words, so it was really left to the reader to tell the story on their own, and there is never a same version that is ever told to our son. Different readers would tell their own version, which makes it interesting! The pictures were also easy to lead on to the next. Good for babies.
(Goldilocks and the Three Bears and Little Red Riding Hood) If Little Red Riding Hood and Goldilock’s stories were going to be told in single words, these books do so well. The words sum up the story, with the illustrations providing more details. It is difficult for this review to choose an appropriate age group for these books. The board book format implies this book is for toddlers; however, the story lends itself to older readers.
The classic tale of Goldilocks and her illegal entrance into the home of three bears is told here in simplified fashion. Very early readers will enjoy the illustrations with the important words that tell the story quite succinctly.
Another addition to one of the more clever series of folk and fairy tales for the younger set. I just love the opportunity for the readers to develop their language skills!
