All it took was one moment for everything to change. One moment and three dangerous men who emanated equal parts pleasure and pain.
Following her father’s disappearance, Madelyn Adams takes her travels to New York in pursuit of an unlikely yet desperately needed lead. However, when she soon finds herself witness to murder, everything becomes so much more complex.
A “gunshot to the head” was what she relayed to responding officers, yet after a suspiciously brief investigation, results concluded not a single trace of evidence to support the committing of any crime, let alone one as messy as the casualty Madelyn described.
No blood, no fingerprints. It was almost as though it never happened.
Almost.
If it weren’t for the lingering memory of that low voice in her ear or the caress of his gloved hands on her body, she would’ve thought she’d hallucinated.
Taken together, that should have been the most complicated part, but it wasn’t.
Instead, it was the three dangerous men who covered it up and caught interest in her in the process.
⎯⎯⎯ Theirs to Claim is a full length, reverse harem novel with material that may be difficult for some readers. This book ends on a cliffhanger and is recommended for 18+.
So I have read and reread this book so many times and I am in love with it. It will always be my favorite comfort story to read and it truly takes you on an adventure showing sides of the characters that can be both beautiful and destructive.
I love it this book and will forever recommend it too people! Truly an amazing story and amazingly thought out!
Rereading this book made me feel so nostalgic; even if I don't read on wattpad like I used to, sometimes I go back to read these little gems that truly destroy me. I'm not exaggerating when I say that this book is better than a lot of published books that I've read. There was no significant editing to the writing. There were a lot of errors like tense changes that didn't make sense, and some words were used incorrectly, but the actual substance inside was phenomenal.
The plot had me absolutely hooked, and the writing was truly intriguing. I loved how complex the characters were and that nothing was truly black and white.
Madelyn was a strong and intelligent character, but she wasn't perfect. In a lot of books, where authors want to make the FMC strong, they often don't get the right balance between having flaws and still being strong. Either the FMC becomes a Mary Sue or everyone around her is so dumb that it makes her look smart, but Aurelia had the perfect balance between the 2. The people around Madelyn were smart, and she often times is not the strongest or most intelligent in the room, but she's not helpless and is able to stand up for herself. Mads is not a pushover, and I loved that about her.
This book doesn't glorify the mafia or the bloodshed inside it either. It shows the brutality inside, and I appreciated that in a world where the Mafia is so romanticised and put on a pedestal. Alec, Xavier, and Caleb never wanted to be part of this organisation, and yet they still have to continue because the only way to leave the mafia is through a body bag.
I loved the relationship between all of them, and honestly, I loved how well BDSM was portrayed. In a lot of books, there's almost always a lack of consent involved, but Theirs to Claim was so refreshing to read because while the sex was kinky, it didn't take away from the emotional aspect of the relationship. I could feel the chemistry between them both inside and outside the bedroom, and that's what really made me like and connect with the characters. The sweet gestures the men did for Mads were emotional and a really nice touch to the story. It's hard to believe that they all fell in love with each other in the span of two months, but reading about everything, I didn't feel like anything was rushed at all. It all flowed easily and made sense at the end.
I have to say that Caleb is my favourite between all of them. He's the man with the least power in the trio, and yet he's always the one willing to make the hard decisions for Mads. The way he pulled the gun on Vincent while he's only an associate and the way he was willing to kill the Don of the italian-american mafia had me falling so deeply in love with him. He knew the consequences of such actions, and yet he still continued. He was the one with the most strength while being the weakest, and that's what really made me love him so much. I would have liked to see him spend more time with Mads in the bedroom.
The other men were nice as well, but none of them had the conviction and desperation that Caleb had, and his strength made me admire him a lot.
The plot twists are the end were seriously crazy but I didn't really feel like they were pulled out of nowhere just to make the story continue, they honestly just filled in a lot of gaps in the story and made it make so much more sense.
I did feel like there were too many sex scenes sometimes, but overall, I really enjoyed the story.
I've read it 3 times now, this is how much I love this book and the plot. The writer does an amazing job of immersing the readers in the story and characters. Love, tension, everything is well written, but I mostly enjoyed how she told the mental health issues of the characters. With what each one of them was struggling with, their every day battle. This is what made those characters real to me. It is truly an amazing book
The BEST mafia reverse harem I have read to date. This series has me by an absolute CHOKEHOLD! I love the plot points, the character development, the angst, the drama…and especially the smut. 10/10, 5/5, whatever you want it to be, this is THE book series! I’ve re read it multiple times, and am so excited for the completion of the second book. Definitely the best Wattpad story there is!
This book has got to be my all time favourite. The brilliant author engages her readers with every word and allows them to immerse themselves into the story, feeling like they are apart the amazing world and with the beautiful characters. I can’t even count how many times I have read this now, and I can’t wait to read it again! ❤️❤️
I'm so mad right now. This was supposed to be a one book story, not a fucking series. A heads-up would have been nice.
Update: me acabo de enterar que la parte dos no esta terminada y la última vez que subieron un capítulo fue hace más de un año. Nunca más voy a confiar en la persona que me recomendó esto
