Moving Forward

Rate this book
Moving Forward continues the story of Casey Snow, a normal college freshman whose life was changed forever when she started dating the lead guitarist of her favorite band, Blake Parker. But when a video of Casey and Blake goes viral after their breakup, suddenly Casey isn't just the rock star's girlfriend... she's a star herself.

Between celeb-packed parties, tabloid interviews and modeling gigs, Casey adjusts to her new life and finds, to her surprise, that she's actually having fun. Still, there's one thing missing: Blake. And Casey will do anything to win him back.

But as the weeks pass, Casey finds herself drawn to an unlikely replacement--Tanner Cole, Blake's rival and the new Moving Neutral guitarist. Ultimately, Casey must decide if she's still the same girl who fell in love with Blake Parker... or if she's better off moving forward without him.

I really was looking forward to this book, i really wanted to know what was going to happen between Casey & Blake & Tanner but this book was fucking disappointing! Like the ending was thrown together, like did i lose a couple chapters, WTF?

Blake & Casey aren't together anymore, and she starts moving on with Tanner, who i love, i hate Blake at this point, he's a fucking idiot, and just keeps hurting Casey. I don't even know why she still loves this guy.

ugh...this one just annoyed me.... Blake just turned into such a Douchenozzle .... I did not like him one bit in this one... and then after everything he says and does, he think's they can just start over? I think out of all the characters I liked Tanner the most in this one and I hated how they treated him... That was just a bunch of BS.... I really hope there's gonna be another book because that ending? NO BUENO!!!!

So in the other books I despised Tanner but in this book he is the only character that is decent and the voice of reason. Unfortunately he is treated the most unkindly and that frustrates me. I was so upset with the ending of the book. I kept trying to make sense of it with the references to Hemingway's The Sun Also Rises but I just didn't see it. I waited over a year to read this book and I was so excited when it came out and I'm sincerely disappointed in the direction Casey and Blake's story takes.

3.5*

1. This was the worst ending of serie I've ever read... I hope there will be a one more book.
2. Blake is an idiot.
3. Casey is so naive that it sometimes hurts me just read her thought workings.
4. Tanner. Oh. He´s absolutely irresistible and I loved every single scene with him.
5. And I´m so confused, angry and frustrated that I just want to give one star, but... yeah, it wasn´t that bad.

What. the. F.Tanner is right, Blake was an idiot. And if Casey and Blake's story really ends the way the book does I'm pissed. I'm so disappointed in Blake. I liked him because he wasn't the typical rock star. But it feels like with each book he just sells more of his soul to Hollywood. Those last couple chapters? Low blow Blake, dick move. Open your eyes Casey! Uh, so frustrating!!!

I'm really disappointed, what they did with tanner was wrong. I didn't like the ending. I hope there is another book coming out, Casey is much better than that she has a chance to prove that she's not just Blake Parker's girlfriend.

FINALLY! I get to find out what happens with Blake and Casey. Or do I?

Moving Forward starts where Casey has to be on her own after Blake dumps her again.

Casey still wants to be with Blake and loves him but Tanner moves in to her world and she starts to get confused.

I really do like Tanner but I am Team Blake all the way even though this book left me questioning Blake's motives and actions.

With Casey she is portrayed as a strong genuine girl making a place of her own in the celebrity world without Blake but in this book she came off as shallow and ungenuine more times than not.

Thankfully there is going to be book 4 or otherwise I would have screamed as it left soooooo many questions unanswered. Who will she chose? Is it for real this time? What about her career? Will April finally get the bitch slap she deserves?

However even though I have many unanswered questions I am still hooked on this series and I can't wait to find out what happens.

I actually really loved this book which surprised me since it got so many negative reviews. It was almost as good as the first one in the series, and although Blake wasn't the guy it seemed everyone wanted him to be, I liked how the author portrayed him. He obviously had some really big things he was processing, so his reactions and behaviors made perfect sense. I thought he had a lot of depth in this book. And I thought Casey went through her own growth. The ending was abrupt, but the author said there will be a fourth book, so I'm excited to see all the loose ends get tied up - and there are a lot of things that were left open. The one thing that equally good and frustrating about this book is that you really fell for Tanner. He was such a great character, which you didn't get in the last book, and it was hard to continue to root for Blake and Casey when Tanner was in the picture. I'll be interested to see how his story evolves in the next book. He deserves someone great. Overall, this was a great third book in this series that made me excited to keep reading. Not many authors can keep your attention with four books in a series in this genre, but Katy Atlas did it right.

I loved the first book in this series, was semi excited to read the second and then had to straight away download the third to see how it ended....and it ended the way I thought it would but it ended too abruptly. I felt like I was still in the middle of the story and then everything just "resolved" in literally the last 10 pages and I was like....wtf? I was left feeling like the virgin who's boyfriend got what he came for and then went off to watch tv...leaving me feeling lost, confused, let down and disillusioned. It was almost like Ms Atlas had a word count she had to stick to and so "oh my god I'm about to run out of ......" The End.

Casey really grated on my in the last book - she became the girl you just want to slap and tell her to grow up and get a life. Blake left me feeling angry at being such a toss and Tanner who could have been such an amazing character was left hung out to dry.

This had such potential to end in a way more satisfying way.

First off, Katy Atlas is one of my favorite authors. And not just because we both live in Houston. She writes a rich story with characters that are flawed and real and great sexual tension angst (which I love). I really loved this series. But, by the end, I wanted her to end up with Tanner. Her and him together were a much better match. I loved their flirting and banter. I felt like their connection was much more real. Blake was the fantasy and it never lived up to it. She was blinded by her crush. So even though I loved it, I didn't love the ending. I didn't hate it. It left it open enough for Team Tanner fans, but...I'm Team Tanner and I wanted her with him!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic read! (I read it in one day because I could not put it down!)

I loved this series until this book. Actually I should say until near the end of this book. I was happy with the way everything was going until Blake came back. He treated Casey like dirt the last part of second book and all the way through this book. I thought Tanner's insight into it was right on. Blake does not deserve to get the girl. I hope there will be another book and that is why it just up and stopped. If this was the last book than I feel I wasted all the time reading the series. I would have liked to give it only one star but until the end it was a great read that I could not put down.
In my opinion April and Blake would make the perfect couple.

Just finished this book and I don't really know I feel.
The ending was not what I anticipated. I actually feel like someone ripped out a couple of chapters and now I feel completely lost.

Casey, let me give you some advice, just stop going back to Blake. Like seriously.Stop. I was literally screaming at Casey to pick Tanner, he's secretly a gentleman and tries to do whatever to make Casey happy whereas Blake is breaking her heart left, right and centre.

I really liked the previous two parts of this book and was really looking forward to reading this but this book was a total disappointment. I mean, what's wrong with Blake? Why was he being so secretive and hurting Casey so much? I understand she lied but still there wasn't a big enough reason to cut ties with her. And what about Tanner? How could Blake and Casey just get back together like that. Like nothing happened when Casey was kissing Tanner just a few minutes ago? I really thought all this had to be cleared out in book#4 .... I hate Blake and Casey... how could no one consider Tanner... What happened to him? This book is a total disappointed....

what a short book was my first though when I finished it. I want more!

Blake and Casey are back on, or so it seems. I hate April..what a bitch...Tanner seems like a good guy but something tells me he will soon show his true colors....Casey is still a kid...can't seem to make the right decisions if her life depended on it....it's getting kind of old....after all she's been through you'd think she would have grown up a bit but nope....still the fool...
and in this book we hardly heard about Madison....this book should have been longer...

Ugh it was soooo good up until the last few paragraphs. Throughout the story, Casey seemed to be really finding herself, and making the right decisions for her. But, then she let Blake into her life again and it ruined it. She was finally moving on from the drama queen, Blake, but then just gives him another chance. Even though the ending sucked, the book was on its way to being 5 stars in my opinion. I really wanted to see Casey making the decisions by herself, not because her parents or her boyfriend. Unfortunately, because I was left feeling this, I have to rate it 3 stars.

Each book gets worse and worse. The whole story drags until the last few chapters. We wait so long for the next release just to be disappointed again. If there is a next book not sure its something worth reading. In 3 books there has been very little character growth and a whole lot of nothing has happened. The whe thing is like the books described within you are lied to over and over by the author and the characters and in the end left hanging and frustrated.

Omg I can not stand Blake in this book!
The way he treated case just arrgh and leaving her over lying about lunch was just pathetic! And leaving her just moments after talking her virginity was so low
And wtf is with that ending ? Poor tanner :( and seriously how he try's to get casey back just after getting his band back together like he couldn't be with her without his band ! but beside Blake being Such a prick that ending was so bad

I honestly don't know how I feel about this book. I like how real it is but then I hate the non ending of it. I mean, is there gonna be another book? I feel like Katy Atlas should write another book for this series just so readers would know what happens between the main characters. I love Moving Neutral. I hate that the characters doesn't have much interaction in second and third book.

I was really left wanting more from this book. I though that the novel felt incomplete, there wasn't enough action for me, the climax of the novel is reached and then it is basically over. I thought that things were going to be wrapped up in this book, but that didn't happen at all. I was left disappointed.

Disappointed with this book. Casey deserves better! :(

Yet another book where Blake is a tool! There should be one more book...the one where Casey kicks Blake's ass to the curb!
