About the author

Cheri started her career in adult entertainment during the mid–1980’s when her then boyfriend, lead singer of a defunct punk rock basement band, took her to Plato’s Retreat, a members–only swingers club in Manhattan. There, she found her niche and ended up working for several high–end escort services until she met and fell in love with her husband, Rick. Together, they made over a hundred soft–core porn movies during the 1990’s until Rick graduated with a PhD. Today, he’s the world’s foremost herpetologist.

Cheri spends her time traveling with Rick to exotic spots in the world searching for rare reptiles, taking care of his snake collection while home and writing online commentary about the porn industry. Secrets & Seduction is her first foray into authorship.

I'm not drawn to erotic fiction and was introduced to the author by a mutual acquaintance. In summary, the plot is quite unexpected, not the typical girl meets boy, more like an intertwining association of people. The sex is graphic, yet germane to the story line and again, quite unexpected. If you want a gripping summer read, Secrets & Seduction should be your #1 priority.

Even though this book would be considered erotica or even perhaps light porn do not let this stop you from reading this book! It is one of the most well written books I have read this summer.
I read this book on the recommendation of a terrific author named Maura Stone who I have read all her books .
I thought well I would try it truly expecting to put it down after a few pages. To my surprise I could not put the book down!! It is an extremely engrossing story about a girl whom falls for a guy never knowing the true nature of his sexual perversions. Even though it included graphic sex it was right in with the story line.
It really shows how someone can lead a double life and the dark side of nature some people possess .
I would recommend reading it to a mature audience with an open mind because you will be shocked by the other side of life . I truly enjoyed reading this and recommend it!!

This book is unflinchingly realistic, which makes it an engrossing story that you can't put down. There are parts of it that are disturbing, but even these sections are crafted with such skill you feel like you are in the room with the characters. Even if it's a room you don't want to be in. This is the mark of a great writer - this book is an excellent read. You won't be sorry.
